1st: 7821 BAKEWELL, Miss Kelly Estet Classic Sherwood Adventures (imp Est),

handsome upstanding dark brindle, well-balanced head with enough work in it, good length of neck, ample bone and stands over plenty of ground, ribbing carried well back, balanced angulation. Just going through the legs and wings stage and has yet to fill into a quite impressive frame, moved pretty well for a youngster. BPD

1st: 7834 JAMES, Mrs Emma & JAMES, Miss Imogen & AHRENS PRIM Sobers Jannik Sinner At Simkhan (Imp It), w/br, pleasing outline with a good clean front, good return of upper arm, deep brisket and well-filled in front with good feet and pasterns, moved very well all round, promising young hound.

1st: 7839 SAWER, Mrs Sarah Boughton Back On Top, 2 y/o brindle, Very nice masculine head, well chiselled with strong jaw, good length of neck, tight feet, slightly soft in pastern. Broad strong loin, well angulated rear, in superb coat and condition. Just needs to fill in front a bit still and would like more forechest, clean going away but slightly untidy coming at me.

2nd: 7822 BALL, Miss A Satteo Jet, 8 y/o black of racing type, nice head and eye, fine ears, good return of upper arm, deep brisket carried well back, tight feet, in gleaming coat. Rather wide in front and this showed in his movement but he did stride out well in profile. Carrying an extra pound or two these days.

1st: 7837 NEWSHAM, Mrs Elaine & ROWE, Mrs Brenda & ROWE, Mr Ch Frankie Decuma Via Windspiel (Cze Imp), dark brindle 2 y/o, so much scope on this young hound, built along generous lines and stands over plenty of ground. Lovely head, masculine but refined, long strong neck, well laid shoulder, balanced angulation, not exaggerated. Presented in gleaming condition; not fully mature either physically or (especially!) mentally, but an impressive hound who took the dog CC today.

1st: 7822 BALL, Miss A Satteo Jet; GCD Gold, fantastic achievement!

VD/B (4 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: 7831 HOWLETT, Miss Roisin & BOGGIA, miss Clare & KOULER Ch Ina's Fashion Dedicated To Boughton (Imp Deu) upstanding 8 y/o, very typy with a classic masculine head, good length of neck, super front with excellent feet and pasterns, deep chest, well ribbed up. Just a touch more rear angulation than I would prefer. Moved really well especially in profile; I gave him BP on my first CC appointment, and I was told afterwards that today was his last show; a hound who has had a great career and one to be proud of. RCC and BV.

2nd: 7826 BROOKES, Mrs S Estet Classic Oligarch At Grenowood (Imp), another super 8 y/o of excellent type and quality, pleasing head, lovely front and feet, good strong rear, stands over plenty of ground, sound mover all ways if not the extension of 1. Just starting to flatten in topline but a classy hound, surprised he has not got his title. 3rd: 7835 MALLEN-WALLACE, Mrs N Droopys Tavern

Class 2978 PB (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 7827 HARRISON-STRATFORD, Mrs Kerry Southpoint Absolut At Highwick (imp Prt), 7 months blue fawn baby, plenty of growing and maturing to do but all the basics are there, really nice shape both stacked and moving, sound and clean with a pretty feminine head and correct construction both ends, good depth and fill for one so young, and she was sympathetically handled. BPIB

Class 2980 PGB (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 7841 SPACEY, Mrs K J Inchydoney Memories Vlady Muscat At Hallimans (imp), very pretty fawn, elegant, feminine and graceful with a very good front and feet, deep chest with ribbing carried well back, not exaggerated anywhere. Tendency to stand cow-hocked but that was not reflected in her movement, she moved really well all round. Feminine head with good chiselling but would just prefer a touch more strength in foreface; 2nd: 7823 BALL, Miss A Boughton Back In Time, brindle, stronger and more substantial than 1, and I preferred her head type. Lacks fill in front and would like a bit more front angulation and firmer pasterns. Feet good, deep chest and firm loin, good turn of stifle and width of thigh, slightly steep in croup. Moved OK but not as clean out and back as 1.

Class 2981 LB (2 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: 7828 HOLDER AND BOGGIA, Mrs And Miss Maggie And Clare Fionn Clann Bluebelle (Imp Rus), have always liked this elegant blue brindle, so graceful and feminine but not weak in any way, beautiful feminine head with plenty of detail, far-seeing expression and fine rose ear, long neck into excellent well filled front, plenty of curves with no exaggeration anywhere, moved soundly and well with light free stride; quite an old-fashioned look to her, full of quality. RCC, her second from me.

Class 2982 OB (5 Entries) Abs: 2 Lovely class of champion bitches.

1st: 7836 NEWSHAM, Mrs Elaine Ch Europa Decuma Via Windspiel (Cze Imp), 8 y/o red who stood out even in this entry of quality bitches. A lovely combination of femininity and strength; beautiful head with strong jaw, long strong neck, superb front, generous proportions with correct angulation, no exaggerations and fills the eye with her perfect balance. Long free daisycutting stride in profile and precise footfall, expertly handled to show off her flowing movement. Fully mature now and very difficult to fault, my hands just flowed over her. CC & BOB. 2nd: 7829 HOLDER AND BOGGIA, Mrs And Miss Maggie And Clare Ch Boughton Back To The Future JW, upstanding 2 y/o brindle, very well made all through, typical outline with balanced angulation, moved really well all round, lovely head and outlook. For me she just needs a little more time to mature into her substantial frame but a lovely bitch.

3rd: 7838 RISHWORTH, Mrs Claire Ch Out Of The Blue Ad Honores.

Class 2983 GCB (2 Entries) Abs: 0

2nd: 7823 BALL, Miss A Boughton Back In Time

Class 2984 SBB (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 7840 SAWYER, Ms H Inchydoney Memories Une Virgin Mary Avec Stonelow, blue fawn, really nice head with plenty of work in it and strong jaw, eye colour matches coat. Good length of neck, decent front assembly though would prefer more depth of fill in front; good length of ribbing, curvaceous topline and underline, strong well muscled rear, moved really well with good drive and length of stride. Delighted to hear that she won the Special Beginner’s Hound Group.
