WELSH CORGI PEMBROKE

My thanks to officers and committee for the invitation to judge at this lovely show. Grateful thanks to all exhibitors who entered under me and the sportsmanlike fashion they accepted my decisions.

I would like to make a few points. I found quite a few level bites. A cracked or a tooth missing due to an accident is of little consequence to me however we really should be paying attention to the bite. Round flat feet are also creeping in. I also feel we are losing our lovely typical corgi head which is also worrying. That said I was more than happy with my winners.

PD. (3,1). Irvings Twinan the Beat goes on. R/W. Attractive 7 month old quality puppy. Good masculine head, good reach of neck leading to a level topline. Good front assembly and well off for bone and substance. Once settled he moved out well. Pleased to award him BP. 2. Coulson’s Durrcor Star Scorceror of Woodhenge. R/W 7 month old puppy with a lovely head and expression. Good reach of neck leading to a level topline. Preferred the front of 1 coming towards. Showed well.

JD. (3,1).1. Crighton’s Cherastayne Real Quiet. 13 Month old R/W male with a very attractive head piece. Reachy neck leading to a level topline. Good front. Well off for bone and moved out well. Unfortunately gave his handler a hard time today.

GD. (2,0) 1. Miller and Haslam’s Monarchcor Chase your Dream Avec Meitza.(AI) 10 month old R/W male, well up to size. Standing he presents a lovely outline and has a great deal of ring presence.
