 Veteran (1)

1ST Special Edition of Persimoone JW VW (Imp Ukr) (Mrs Slough) Such a showman and in fabulous condition, a real credit to his owner/handler who he obviously adores. Sweet face with dark eyes, neat ears and alert expression. Sound, typical construction which was reflected in his accurate, buoyant movement with tail set and carried well and outline held firm both standing and on the move. After being in the ring at 8.30am and a long day at the show he was still showing his socks off for the Veteran group where I was delighted to see him take the top spot. Congratulations. BV, Veteran Group 1.

Minor Puppy Dog (2)

1ST Klassna That’s My Dream (Mrs L K & Mr J A Ellen) Gorgeous little showoff with appealing head and expression, compact frame with good ribbing, short back and super tail set and carriage. Smart on the move, good out and back and holds himself together well in profile. An exciting prospect who is bound to have many more admirers as he matures.

2ND Rostellars Super Mario NAF TAF (Mr R Niven-Lewis) Well presented puppy who wasn’t as settled on the move and just a touch less compact than 1 but has a lovely head with neat ears, good muzzle and dense pigment.

Puppy Dog (3)

1ST Sueacres Catch A Dream (Ms S Smith) Gorgeous O/S with such a neat little shape, small and compact with fine bone, good chest and ribbing, correct front and rear angulation and short level back with tail well set and carried. Such a gorgeous head and expression with dark eyes, the neatest ears and nicely finished muzzle. Moved with a brisk action, accurate out and back and holding his outline well in profile. In good coat for his age presented well. No doubt a future Champion. BP.

2ND Klassna Dreams Are Magic (Mrs L K & Mr J A Ellen) Another lovely baby, a little younger so couldn’t match the maturity and finish of 1 but still much to like with a pleasing outline just a touch longer than 1, good chest and ribbing for age and high set tail. Lovely head with bright eyes and intelligent expression. Moved well and has great attitude.

3RD Souls of Dark Fire with Spanapoms (Ms S F O'sullivan)

Junior Dog (5)

1ST Callevys Mistery of Starkey for Lireva (Imp Swe) (Mrs A L Cawthera-Purdy) Super 8month old puppy, lovely for size and balance, dainty and compact with a beautiful head and expression, dark eyes and neatest of ears. Short neck, good front and rear assembly with short back and high set tail. Such a happy baby who moved with confidence, the best in profile here with outline held well as he moved briskly around the ring. The promise of a quality coat as he matures, missing out for bpd to the more mature puppy but is bound to have a very bright future.

2ND Breezelyn Time of Our Lives (Mrs J & Mrs A Pike & Carter) Similar sized black who wasn’t making the most of himself when standing which was a shame as he has a has a lovely outline to show off when he wants to! Lovely for size and type, still needing time to mature in body but has all the essentials to finish very nicely. Gorgeous face with delightful expression. Moved well but needs to settle coming towards.

3RD Pennygown Tiktok (Miss S Maclaine)

Yearling Dog (2,1)

1ST Rostellars Super Sconic (Mr R Niven-Lewis) Nice orange dog standing alone but deserved his win here. Liked his size and shape with short neck, compact frame, good ribbing, balanced length of leg and fine bone. Sweet expression with bright eyes, nicely finished muzzle and dense pigment. Moved well.

Post Graduate Dog (3)

1ST Altina’s Albany at Yanimas (Miss Y Brown) A little more of him all through than I’d like however he is balanced and typical in outline and his super sound construction and equally impressive movement won him the class. Totally accurate in all directions with a brisk, buoyant action and outline held firm in profile. Pleasing head and expression, correctly shaped dark eyes, dense pigment, ears could be a little smaller. Handled and presented well.

2ND Klassna Magic Touch (Mrs L K & Mr J A Ellen) Better for size but couldn’t match the more accurate movement and carriage of 1. Soundly constructed and compact with balanced angulation and good ribbing. Sweet face with dark eyes which are a little round, finely finished muzzle and good pigment.

3RD - Spanapoms Stand by Your Man (Ms S F O'sullivan)

Limit Dog (4)

1ST Lireva's Wild and Wonderful (Mrs A L Cawthera-Purdy) Top quality orange of lovely size in super coat of the correct texture, presented immaculately. Full of confidence, always standing to an advantage showing of his well balanced, typical outline with short neck, straight front, good ribbing, short back and moderately angulated rear. Delightful head and expression with lovely dark eyes, dense pigment and neatly finished muzzle. Moved well, looking particularly good in profile holding himself together well with well plumed tail carried correctly. He was close up in the challenge just narrowly beaten to the rcc by his kennel mate.

2ND Kazpom No Doubt JW (Miss C & Mrs A Nixon) Different type to 1 but has plenty to like. A touch bigger than 1 but still well balanced and presenting a typical, compact outline with fine bone, good ribbing and high set, well plumed tail. Correctly shaped head with neat ears and nice eyes just a little shorter in foreface, still has a pleasing expression but I just preferred the head of 1. Moved very smartly.

3RD Lireva’s Wild to Fly The Bear to Cassibawn (Mr L & Mrs N Gooch)

Open Dog (6) Super class which included 2 dogs I had previously awarded Group places to, I would happily have awarded any of them the CC on the day and really had to split hairs to sort them out.

1ST Trenarwyn Walkin' On Fire Jch (Mr J A Mogro) This smart little black dog had to show his socks off to clinch the win in this class...and he did! Small, dainty, compact and on his toes, super construction and always standing to an advantage showing off his typical, balanced outline enhanced by his beautifully presented coat with well plumed tail set high and carried well over his back. The most delightful head with the darkest of eyes, neat high set ears, nicely finished muzzle and such an intelligent expression. His movement gave him the edge here, buoyant, brisk and totally accurate out and back, circling the ring with style and attitude holding his outline firm, totally at one with his handler. Once he won this class he’d done the hard part, in the challenge he was the one to beat and no one could quite match his polished performance. DCC (his 2nd, and just a week later I was delighted to hear he won his well deserved crowning CC, well done)

2ND Ch Lireva's Wildest Dreams (Mrs A L Cawthera-Purdy) One I have judged and placed previously in group competition, almost 3 years on he is looking just as impressive and still appealed greatly. Presents such a lovely shape in outline, short neck, fine bone, good front and rear assembly, deep chest, good ribbing and high set tail with fabulous plume over his back. Correctly shaped head with lovely eyes, good ears and dense pigment, eyes firmly on his handler showing off his bright, intelligent expression. As always from this kennel, coat of the correct texture and immaculate presentation enhancing his outline further. Moved with a free, buoyant gait holding his outline firm. It really was close in this class and I had no hesitation in calling him back to challenge for the RCC which he duly won. RDCC.

3RD Ch Altina's Henry Higgins JW (Mrs C D Holman) Another favourite of mine who’s shape and movement still impresses he just wasn’t in the best coat on the day.

Special Beginners (6,3)

1ST Altina’s Albany at Yanimas (Miss Y Brown) see pgd.

2ND Burraland Dreams Come True (Mrs N J Hamzaoui) 6month bitch every bit the baby so had her work cut out for her but she made a good account of herself for one so young moving very well, neat little shape and pretty face just needs to grow into her ears!

3RD Edkbangels Zennia (Miss Lj Cregg)

Minor Puppy Bitch

Entries: 6 Absentees: 1

1ST Klassna Dream About Me (Mrs N Davey) Ultra compact and already such a little showgirl, presenting such a neat shape in profile which she maintains on the move with tail set and carried well over her back. Lovely front assembly with good chest and ribbing for age, fine bone, small feet and sound rear. Sweet face with lovely dark eyes and neat high set ears. Moved very well for one so young looking particularly good in profile as she circled the ring with a typical action.

2ND Lireva's Power of Dreams (Mrs A L Cawthera-Purdy) I thought this might be my winner at first glance but she just wasn’t making the most of herself. Nice for size and shape with fine bone, balanced front and rear angulation, straight front and short back. Ultra feminine head with beautiful eyes, nicely finished muzzle and beautiful expression. Moving well in profile and presented in good coat for her age. Another quality youngster from this kennel who is bound to do well as she matures.

3RD Chibaya Catch The Moment (Miss E Moores)

Puppy Bitch (5,1)

1ST Aaliyah The Small Steps at Altina (Imp Bul) NAF TAF (Mrs C D Holman) I loved this youngster, she won this class with plenty to spare and I did consider her for the rcc and bp but she had lost interest by then and wasn’t moving quite as well. Small, dainty, compact and feminine with super construction fore and aft, short back, good chest and ribbing for age and high set tail carried straight over her back. Gorgeous head and expression, quality coat and great attitude. Impressed greatly on the move, brisk and accurate, circling the ring with confidence and style. A very exciting prospect.

2ND Spanapoms Chocolate Queen (Ms S F O'sullivan) Neat little girl who was handled to an advantage and really showed herself off well both standing and on the move. Short neck, short level back, fine bone, small feet, a little narrow in front, moderate rear and well set tail. Pretty head with alert expression. Moved with a lovely brisk action, still has plenty of maturing to do in body and coat.

3RD All Seeing Star Bellissima Rose Queen NAF TAF (Mrs J Chalmers)

Junior Bitch (4,1)

1ST Altina's Georgia On My Mind at Breezelyn (Mrs J & Mrs A Pike & Carter) This young lady was an easy winner here and no doubt will gain her title. Loved her size and well balanced shape, short neck, compact frame, fine bone, correct front and rear assembly, good depth of chest, well ribbed up and high set tail with lovely plume carried well over her back. Fabulous head and expression, dark oval eyes, small ears, finely finished muzzle and strong jaw. Such a showoff, moving around the ring like she owned it carrying herself proudly with a brisk, buoyant gait, accurate in all directions. In quality, harsh coat in pristine condition and handled to an advantage. I thought I may have found my cc winner but she ultimately had to settle for the RCC behind a fully mature bitch. Nevertheless, an exciting youngster. RBCC.

2ND Reubicia Topaz at Pawsamy (Miss A Lovell) Decent dual purpose bitch who is a little long in loin but has sound front and rear assembly, good depth of chest and spring of rib. Pleasant head with dark eyes and pigment, ears could be a little neater. Moved soundly and presented well.

3RD Bincombefarm's The Kneazle (Mrs K & Mr N & Miss K P French)

Yearling Bitch (4)

1ST In Time Poms New Beginnings at Diemzs (Imp Bgr) JW (Miss E M Campbell) Immediately catches the eye as she makes the most of herself standing, eyes fixed on her handler, well presented coat enhancing her outline. Soundly constructed with good spring of rib, firm topline, high set tail and moderate rear. Very nice head and expression with well set, neat ears and dark eyes. Moved well but didn’t hold herself together as well as I’d like in profile and was a touch close away.

2ND Altina’s After Midnight at Yanimas (Miss Y Brown) Slightly smaller black bitch with a pleasing shape, could just be a touch more compact. Good shoulders, straight front, good spring of rib and moderately angulated rear. Very pretty head with dark eyes and neatly finished muzzle. Moved well and handled sympathetically.

3RD Bincombefarm's The Snidget JW (Mrs K & Mr N & Miss K P French)

Post Graduate Bitch (1)

1ST Trenarwyn Catherine Wheel at Sharhazlah (Mr C & Misses M & M Hills) Well presented Bl with a great attitude, feminine head and alert expression. Soundly constructed, perhaps could be a touch more compact, lovely chest and ribbing, fine bone and small feet. Moved with purpose, accurate in all directions.

Limit Bitch (9,1) Nice class, particularly the top 3.

1ST Mi Misuzi's Flower Power for Breezelyn (Imp Nor) (Mrs J & Mrs A Pike & Carter) Another nice one from this kennel who was the best out and back here and just had the edge in head and expression. Nice for size and shape, dainty and fine boned but with good spring of rib and depth of chest, short level back and high set tail with good plume. Correctly shaped head with fairly small ears, nice bright eyes and nicely finished muzzle. Moved with great confidence carrying herself well in profile and striding out briskly.

2ND Lireva's Just On A Daydream (Mrs A L Cawthera-Purdy) Very similar in size and type to 1, nice to go over and everything in the right place but just tended to lose her outline when she was distracted, as she settled on the move she did start to get it together. Pretty, feminine head with appealing expression and nice dark eyes. A quality bitch who is sure to have better days.

3RD Trenarwyn Legend On Fire JW (Mrs C M Soulsby)

 Open Bitch (4)

1ST Ch Gleniren All Eyes On Me (Mr G & Mrs I Robb) It was certainly a case of saving the best ‘til last! I’d found some nice bitches and several who I would have happily signed a green card for and then this well known champion walked into the ring and none of the others could compare. Small, feminine, dainty and immediately appealing but when you get your hands on her you really start to appreciate her fabulous construction, deep chest, superb ribbing, ultra compact frame, balanced front and rear angulation, fine bone and small, compact feet. Her head is delightful with the neatest of ears, beautiful dark sparkling eyes, nicely finished muzzle and good mouth. On the move she was foot perfect with enough width in front and behind, brisk and buoyant in profile with her super outline held firm. The ultimate showgirl coupled with expert handling and presentation, it’s no wonder she has gained so many admirers and I am not ashamed to say I was happy to become one of them! CC & BOB, nice to see her shortlisted in a super quality group later in the day.

2ND Mi Misuzi's Final Fantasy for Breezelyn (Imp Nor) (Mrs J & Mrs A Pike & Carter) A size bigger that 1 but still maintaining a typically balanced, compact outline with short neck, good front and rear assembly, firm topline and high set tail carried well over her back. Pleasing head with high set ears she could have used more to enhance her expression, dark eyes and finely finished muzzle. Her movement and carriage in profile appealed greatly and won her this place.

3RD Ch Klassna Tell Me More with Chibaya (Mrs C & Miss A & Miss E Moores)
