1ST Ch Benatone Glint of Gold (Miss S & Mrs R Jackson). Absolutely stunning Maltese in immaculate condition. Fully mature and so well balanced with good reach of neck allowing for proud head carriage, super front and rear assembly, short cobby body, straight front and parallel rear, level topline and lovely tail set and carriage. Beautiful head with dense pigmentation, dark eyes, defined stop and correct length of muzzle. Looked a picture moving around the ring covering the ground with ease, maintaining his outline, totally accurate out and back. All 3 maltese in this class were of obvious quality but this boy didn’t put a foot wrong to take BD & BOB.

2ND Multi Ch Rhapsody's Livin My Best Life at Sarasuma (Imp Usa) (Ms N & Mrs J Holland & Wasilewska) Maltese of similar size and shape to 1, again with appealing head qualities, good pigment, correct length of muzzle and alert expression. Well constructed with good reach of neck, cobby body, firm topline and well angulated rear. Moved well but couldn’t match the front action of 1. Not quite the polished performance of 1 but obviously a dog of CC quality. RBD.

1ST Sarasuma Made in Wonderland (Ms G Oliver). Another Maltese, this one a delightful baby who was rather a handful for her handler with such a delightful attitude which added to her appeal! Such a pretty face with beautiful dark eyes, dense pigment, short broad muzzle and strong jaw. Good reach of neck, lovely ribbing, short cobby body, firm topline and well set and carried tail. When she eventually started to settle she moved very well but she just didn’t settle enough in the challenge so lost out to the more mature bitch. However she is a quality youngster who should do well once she learns the ropes! RBB, BP.

1ST Benatone Issabella (Mrs K Jennings) Maltese who didn’t cope with the uneven ground very well so tended to lose her outline in profile. Pretty face with good eyes and haloes, short muzzle and defined stop. Nicely constructed with good substance. In good coat.

2ND Lavieest Madame La Isabella at Vakkerdimant (Miss V & Mrs M Drake) Yorkshire Terrier who I thought might be my winner but she decided to give up on the move so threw the class away. Neat little shape with good topline and tail carriage, good ribbing and loin and moderately angulated rear. Pretty head with dark eyes, neat ears and alert expression. Well presented coat and handled sympathetically.

1ST Lady Ruby at Omissilleb (Mrs K Jennings). 6 yr Maltese who made a good account of herself especially on the move. Nice size, a touch longer than ideal but with good chest and ribbing, level topline and well set and carried tail. Feminine head of good shape with defined stop, pigment could be better and eyes could be a little darker. In nice quality coat presented well, moved with purpose to top the bitch entry. BB, BOS.
