Dogs

Puppy

1: BLORE, Mrs Val H Movalian Ginger Nut,10-month red rough with an imposing outline, he has a delightful head and expression. Decent front, strong topline and well-set tail. Presented to advantage and he has a coat of good texture. Moved out smartly. Champion quality for sure. BP

2: MEADEN, Miss A M Delightbull Tad The Man For Topmead, 8 months red rough and giving away a little on age. I loved his expression, and he has a great textured coat. Balanced in outline and decent for angles. Just needs to settle in front a little but that will come.

3: HUGHES, Mrs Maria Louise & WARWICK, Mrs Chrissie Bruneaver Cross Fire With Beauborne

Junior

1: HUGHES, Mrs Maria Louise Bruneaver Space Oddity From Beauborne, very smart red smooth of type. He is compact and balanced, good topline and strong behind. Impresses in profile action.

2: MERCER, Mrs Mary Ann Hierners Vidocq At Fennymore (imp), red rough with a large head and decent expression. Excellent coat and compact in body. He was just a tad loose coming towards me today which cost him.

3: WOOD, Miss Lisa Star Griff Sheridan At Delightbull (imp Ukr)

Post Grad

1: MACKAY, Mr Gordon & MACKAY, Mrs Pauline Osthaen A Kind Of Magic, b/t smooth, pleasing expression, decent for size and compact in body. Moved out on the right track.

2: SPURR, Mrs A J Zilcan Kick Boxer, red rough puppy of only 6 months, he has it all to come but he is a decent shape and has a very pleasing expression. Just a tiny bit erratic on the move at the moment, but time is very much on his side.

Limit

1: BLORE, Mrs Val H Movalian Musketeer, red smooth with a large head and delightful expression. Compact in body and good for substance. He moved out keeping his outline and using his tail at all times. Well ribbed and strong in loin.

Open

One of the best classes I have judged for a long time. Chock full of quality and all very worthy exhibits.

1: ALLEN, Mrs C & SELBY, Mr M & WHITEHEAD, Miss F Ch Zilcan Monkey Business, gorgeous red rough, beautiful head with almost human like expression, compact and smart and so so sound. On the table there is very little to change about him being very much a large circle on a small square. He is superbly ribbed giving him that desired cobby outline. Presented in wonderful coat. In the challenge for BOB he almost threw in the towel as he had other things on his mind, but I loved him. CC

2: SANTIAGO PIER, Mr Jose Luis Carefons Don Perignon, another very decent dog of true type and quality. Put down to perfection and handled masterfully. Super for size and substance and he too put on a polished performance on the move. Not quite the expression of the winner but a dog to proud of. RCC

3: SELBY, Mr Mark & WHITEHEAD, Miss Fiona & HANNIGAN, Zilcan Parker

Veteran

1; SWINGE, Miss M Balthazar Johnny Angel, 9-year-old red rough who is a delightful size and shape. Super expression and moved out well. A credit to his owner and the breed. Best veteran.

Bitches

Puppy

1; WOOD, Miss Lisa Delightbull Lady In Red, 8-month red rough with a delightful expression. She is the correct shape, with ribbing coming along and coat of texture for her age. She moved out soundly and with style.

2: SUGGITT, Dr K F Aptrick Gateau Noir, 6-month-old black who has it in front of her. The cheekiest of expressions and she is the correct shape for her age. Sound on the move even if a little naughty. She has a future.

3: WOOD, Miss Lisa Delightbull Come On Eileen

Junior

1: SELBY, Mr Mark & WHITEHEAD, Miss Fiona & ALLEN, Mi Zilcan Toffee Apple, a real superstar in the making, 12-month-old red rough of star quality. She is so very typical in outline, has an importance about her and moves out with soundness and style. I loved her. In the challenge her age told as she lost concentration and so had to pay the price. She will be a certain champion and more.

2: BARNEY, Mrs D M & SPITTLE, Miss J Cilleine Idylle, red smooth of 14 months and the correct type and shape, she has a delightful head and expression, and she is very sound on the move. Just needs confidence on the table and she’ll be away.

Post grad

1: MERCER, Mrs Mary Ann Beauborne Rosina At Fennymore(taf), red rough of type and a great size. Head and expression are where she scores, and she is compact. Held herself on the move.

2; BARNEY, Mrs D M & SPITTLE, Miss J Cilleine Quintessential JW, red rough who is slightly taller on the leg and just needs to fill in middle piece. I liked her head and expression, and she is sound in the move. Well-presented and handled.

Limit

1: BLORE, Mrs Val H Movalian Burning Desire, red smooth who is good for size and type, pleasing head and expression, well ribbed and compact in body. Moved out well holding her outline.

2: HICK, Mr Dale Datiro Tigger Point, red rough who was slightly larger than the winner and not as compact. Pleasing expression, decent topline and well-presented coat of good texture. She puts her feet in the right place.

3: GREEN, Miss Rachel Emily Beauborne Stefani Topmead

Open

1: SELBY, Mr Mark & WHITEHEAD, Miss Fiona & ALLEN, Mi Ch Zilcan Blazinickers, red rough of real quality and type, presented masterfully. She has a gorgeous head, strong and compact all through and as sound as a bell. All of a piece and bang on form she is hard to pass. Moved out with style, and an air of importance. I thought that she and the DCC make a wonderful pair in the challenge, and it was her more polished performance that tipped the wink in her favour. CC & BOB and a very worthy Group 2.

2: HUGHES, Mrs Maria Louise Beauborne Pussycat Doll, red smooth of real quality and type, champion quality for sure and is the correct shape. She comes alive on the move and puts her feet in the right place. Should carry a title with the average amount of luck. RCC

3: SWINGE, Miss M Ch Balthazar Pillow Talk
