Thank you to the exhibitors for their entry at another weekday Show and for the sporting manner in which they accepted my decisions. The smaller classification allowed for some fuller classes and tough decisions.

Special Beginners Dog (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 99 ROBINSON, Miss Amanda J Ulverbox Magic and Mayhem Br/W. Balanced male, showing good substance. Pleasing head proportions, dark eyes and alert expression. Strong bone, good depth of chest and spring of rib, with a slightly sloping topline, balanced angulation, steady movement.

Minor Puppy Dog (3 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: 50 CHERRY, Mrs Y Cherryforge Rebel at Heart Br/W. Rangy youngster, well off for bone, square, good length of neck, well laid shoulders, good angulation fore and aft. Good reach on the move. Skull free from wrinkle, alert expression, wide nostrils and evident chin. BPD

2nd: 46 CARTER, Miss & Miss S & S Susancar Finn Ominal Br/W. Square, well made, good topline and width of second thigh. Dark eye with typical expression, clean skull free from excess wrinkle. Good driving action from the rear.

Junior Dog (5 Entries) Abs: 0

Both 1st & 2nd were on top form which was great to see but I almost wanted one to let themselves down to make it an easier decision!

1st: 45 CARTER, Miss & Miss S & S Farvalley Major Luke at Susancar Eye catching Br/W, smart outline with lovely clean lines, good forehand assembly, strong bone, cat like feet, good depth of forechest, and length to neck, short back and firm topline with correct tailset. Head of correct proportions, wide muzzle, open nostrils, evident chin, correct rise to skull, good mouth and lively expression. Moved well with good reach and drive.

2nd: 48 CHELL, Miss Sally Jimbren Elite Legacy at Ludic Br/W that can only go from strength to strength. Similar attributes to 1. Stylish outline with good shoulders, evident forechest, arched neck, correct tailset and tuckup. A well balance head with no excessive wrinkle, dark expressive eyes and good mouth. Shown in good condition. Moved with good reach in front but preferred the hind movement of 1.

3rd: 64 HUGGINS, Mr & Mrs Ashley & Debbi Boxania Rock and Roll Star for Daervlish

Post Graduate Dog (6 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 39 BROUGH, Mrs L & BROUGH, Mr Gavin Limubox Scotch Gold R/W. Oozes confidence. Skull free from excess wrinkle, clean cheeks, melting expression, wide nostrils, good mouth and visible chin. Strong bone, tight feet, good shoulder placement and evident forechest, short back and excellent muscled rear. At one with handler and turned out in excellent condition.

2nd: 90 PAYNE, Mrs Debbie Jeddhi Through the Flame to Birleyvale Br/W. Strong head with excess wrinkle, dark expressive eyes, good width to muzzle. Square profile, clean neck into well laid shoulders, short back, good width to second thigh. Moved true, showing reach and drive while holding a level topline. Preferred the head of 1.

3rd: 99 ROBINSON, Miss Amanda J Ulverbox Magic And Mayhem

Limit Dog (9 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: 102 VAN-BECK, Mrs V Newlaithe Respect JW. Br/W. Super smart outline on this boy, square, evident forechest, good bone, correct angles both ends, well sprung ribs and short loin. Well muscled quarters, covered the ground with ease when viewed from all angles. Head is free from excess wrinkle, clean cheeks, dark expressive eyes, open nostrils and good mouth.

2nd: 65 JOHNSON, Mrs C & PYNEGAR, Mrs Fearn Sashbob Never Would I Ever from Berwynfa JW. Br/W. Square male with a clean outline. Stronger in skull than 1, dark eye with typical boxer expression. Strong bone, cat like feet, well arched neck, balanced angles, good width of second thigh. Shown in good condition, covered the ground well.

3rd: 108 WOODS, Mr K Arkeney Conqueror

Open Dog (4 Entries) Abs: 1

Judged the first two as Juniors and was delighted to get my hands on them again.

1st: 78 MCCARTHY, Mr D & GETHING, MR S Ch Boxania Romanoff to Jeddhi, Br/W. This boy has great qualities. Lovely head, good width of muzzle, correct mouth with wide jaw and good dentition. Evident stop with correct rise of skull showing no excess wrinkle, well set ears. Big nose with wide nostrils. Dark eyes giving melting expression. Great balance to this boy, neck flows smoothly into withers, with good layback of shoulder. Parallel front, strong bone, correct depth of brisket, short back with strong firm topline and correct tailset. Ground covering stride showing reach and drive. Turned out in gleaming condition as always by this kennel. DCC & BOB

2nd: 73 MAIR, Misses L&S Ch Macbarra Kickin Up a Storm at Glenauld JW Br/W. A great showman who gives his all. Good head with correct proportions, good mouth, clean cheeks, wide muzzle, evident chin, dark eyes and alert expression, correct rise of skull free from excess wrinkle. Parallel front, strong bone, cat like feet, good depth to forechest, firm topline. Shown in hard condition, preferred the movement on 1. RCC

3rd: 67 KAVANAGH, Miss L A Marbelton in the Mix

Special Beginners Bitch (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 68 LAW, Mrs Michelle Shellark Handball Hattie Br/W. Plenty substance on this upstanding bitch, good width of muzzle, correct rise of skull, dark eyes with alert expression. Strong bone, tight feet, evident forechest, arched neck, slightly sloping topline. Moved with drive.

2nd: 93 PEARN, Mrs Jacqueline A Bonmac Little Star JW Br/W Not the bone or substance of 1. Pleasing head, sweet expression across the eyes, good ratios muzzle to skull, evident chin and stop. Good length of neck, well-muscled bitch. Not sure if stringing this bitch benefits her.

Veteran Bitch (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 72 MAIR, Misses L&S Ch Ch Vandenrob Vanessa via Glenauld Br/W. Good head piece with correct ratios. Wide muzzle, evident chin, good mouth and still has her teeth. Dark eye with cheeky expression. Strong bone, parallel front, neat elbows and tight feet. Good angulation allowing her to move well.

2nd: 77 MASTAGLIO, Mrs D Alexval Dance in Moonlight R/W. Correct muzzle to skull ratios. evident chin, straight jaw, dark eye with kind expression. Good bone, parallel front, Good angulation, short back, slightly sloping topline and width to 2nd thigh.

Minor Puppy Bitch (3 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 51 CHERRY, Mrs Y Cherryforge Heart and Soul Br/W. Similar attributes to her brother, Well up to size, strong bone, square outline, good length of neck, evident forechest, balanced angulation fore and aft. Good spring to rib and short in loin. Good reach on the move. Skull free from excess wrinkle, alert expression, evident chin.

2nd: 103 VAN-BECK, Mrs V Newlaithe Come on Y'all Br/W. Smaller package than 1, Square smart outline with good angulation front and rear, evident forechest and good shoulders, well arched neck. Clean head with dark eyes, kind expression and decent mouth.

3rd: 107 WELCH, Mr Trevor & WELCH, Mrs Julie Newlaithe Bridget Jones with Treju

Puppy Bitch (4 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 42 BROWN & HUTCHINGS, Miss & Mr J & T Winuwuk Firecracker. Br/W. Eye catching youngster with a smart outline, lovely clean lines, good forehand assembly, round bone, cat like feet, good depth of forechest, length of neck, spring of rib and width of second thigh, correct tailset. Head still needs time, but that will come, dark eye, appealing expression as she looked ready to cause nonsense! Moved and handled well. BPB & BPIB

2nd: 76 MAIR, Misses L&S Glenauld Storm Felicity Br/W. Well constructed bitch with an elegant outline. Balanced head with good ratios, wide muzzle and straight jaw, eye shape could be better. Well arched neck, short back and good rear angulation. Moved well

3rd: 106 WALKER, Mr K D Berwynfa Millionaire At Tweedbox

Junior Bitch (10 Entries) Abs: 3

1st: 92 PEARCE, Mr G & FRANCIS, Mr D Ch Longsdale Crazy for You Br/W. Stylish bitch with a smart outline. Parallel front, evident forechest, good length of neck and spring of rib, well muscled rear. Head of good ratios, clean skull, melting expression & large nostrils. Moved well, turned out in excellent condition.

2nd: 109 WOODS, Mr K Arkeney Geneva Br/W. Good head with correct ratios, width to muzzle, correct bite, open nostrils, defined stop, correct rise to skull. Strong bone, good depth to chest and spring of ribs, short back, sloping topline, good angles both ends. When settled she moved out well.

3rd: 38 BROUGH, Mrs L & BROUGH, Mr G & CAIRNS, Mrs J Jimbren Lasting Legacy With Limubox

Post Graduate Bitch (12 Entries) Abs: 0

This pair went punch for punch.

1st: 41 BROWN & HUTCHINGS, Miss & Mr J & T Winuwuk Ghostly Affair Br/W. Substantial bitch yet remaining elegant, square in body with correct balance. Lively intelligent expression, with correctly shaped eye, correct muzzle to skull ratio viewed from all angles. Evident chin, wide straight jaw and good-sized teeth. Correct length of neck, good layback of shoulder, straight parallel front with strong bone and neat elbows, evident forechest, cat like feet. Short back, well arched ribs, good depth of chest. Correct hind angulation and short hocks. Held her topline on the move showing great reach and drive. Shown in excellent condition. BCC

2nd: 79 MCCARTHY, Mr D & GETHING, MR S Lorrosa My Heads Been Turned to Jeddhi Br/W. Another quality bitch who is the daughter of the DCC. Elegant with a smart outline, square in profile. Lovely head with alert expression, good length of neck, correct forehand assembly, and layback of shoulder, cat like feet, correctly sloping topline, bang on tailset, unexaggerated rear angulation with well muscled quarters. Moved well. RBCC

Limit Bitch (6 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 54 FLINTOFT, Miss S Boxania Make Me Smile Br/W. Litter sister to my DCC. Smartly constructed bitch with a square elegant outline. Good head with correct ratios, good wide mouth, dark eye with a lovely kind expression. Clean muscular neck, strong bone, good spring to rib, sloping topline and correct tailset. Good angulation and width of second thigh with well let down hocks. Turned out in good condition. Moved well.

2nd: 57 GODWIN, Mrs F Sultash Charisma Br/W. Smart Outline, well angulated front with evident forechest, depth of brisket and good length to neck. Good cat like feet, spring of rib, short back, good topline and tailset. A good head with cheeky expression, skull is clean and free from excess wrinkle. Moved out with good reach.

3rd: 101 VAN-BECK, Mrs V Diddle On Newlaithe Jw

Open Bitch (7 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: 40 BROWN & HUTCHINGS, Miss & Mr J & T Ch Winuwuk Silent Witness Br/W. A bitch of quality, with a combination of elegance and substance, square outline, correct angulation both ends without any exaggerations, good width of second thigh and well let down hocks. Moved tidily coming and going. Beautiful head and expression, correct ratios when viewed from all angles, clean throughout, evident stop, correct rise of skull, good mouth.

2nd: 53 DRINKWATER, Mrs Susan Ch Sulez Smashedit Br/W. Such a melting expression she would definitely get my last Rolo! Good rise of skull, wide muzzle and good mouth. Good length of neck, correct forehand assembly, angulation good at both ends, cat like feet, correctly sloping topline, bang on tailset, well muscled quarters. Moved well showing good drive. Shown in good condition.
