Gundog Society Of Wales

Breed: Retriever (Golden)

Gundog Society of Wales - Bitches 15th October 2025 - Katie Kelly (Zenevieva)

Thank you to the committee of Gundog Society of Wales for my invitation. It's always an honour to judge your own breed but the privilege to award CCs in my beloved breed, is the greatest honour. I had an amazing day, full of beautiful goldens of such quality. There were many classes where some tough decisions had to be made and whereby some lovely examples of the breed went unplaced.

Thank you to my stewards, Marion Sargent & Caroline Rees, who kept the ring flowing.

And thank you to all of the exhibitors for your entry and taking my decisions with such grace. The goldens represented well in the Best in Show finals. With BPIB taking 3rd BPIS, BSBIB going 2nd BSBIS and the BOB winner being shortlisted in a quality BIS.
