VB 1
1 Seaman’s Mariglen Dusty Blonde SGWC. BCC, BOB and Best Veteran in Breed. There was a roaring cheer and enthusiastic clapping when I awarded the CC to this bitch. At the time, I was not aware why, but after the end of judging I discovered that this was her third CC, all awarded as a Veteran and as she has a Show Gundog Working Certificate, it made her into a very worthy full Champion; a fabulous achievement for this breed. Beautiful bitch, a week off her 9th birthday who really belies her age. She has an excellent, well-balanced, flowing and typical outline. Nice length of head with correct ratio of skull to muzzle length. Excellent angulation fore & aft and well let-down hocks. Excellent spring of rib. Strong, wide, short and muscular loin & correct topline with level, short back and slight arching over the strong loin. Good bone throughout. Moved soundly infront and behind, really covering the ground well with each stride. Coat of good colour and texture. A worthy champion.
