Judge Karen Smith (Tollisty)
Thank you to the Committee for honouring me with the invitation to judge my first Championship Show. Thank you to all of the Exhibitors who entered and allowed me the privilege of judging your dogs, I really was spoiled for choice and had some very hard decisions to make and thank you all for accepting my placings.
I was very impressed with the overall quality of the dogs and bitches, and it was fabulous to see such a large number of them.
It was also fabulous to see so many junior handlers in the ring, and how professional, courteous and absolutely lovely with their dogs!
Huge thanks go to my two stewards, Ken and Amy, who kept the ring flowing and me on track!
Veteran Dog
1. Sh Ch Afonbach Winter is Coming JW ShCEx OSW VW (Ms A and Miss AL Adshead)
A strong masculine head, well set triangular ears and a soft and kind expression. A very balanced dog with correct angulation front and rear. Good lay back of shoulder, and held a level topline throughout. Deep chest, with well sprung ribs completed a very pleasing picture. Good bone and substance, but without being too much. Excellent reach and drive on the move, and it was his movement in the challenges that won him Best Dog and Best of Breed
2. Sh Ch Eusanit Silvr Dream Machine (Mrs P Barker)
Another handsome male with good markings and a glorious double coat. Correct ear set and dark almond shape eyes, which gave him a kind expression. Balanced in angulation. He was shown in excellent condition. Good movement with lovely profile footfall. He covered the ground with ease. I preferred first’s outine and shape.

2. Arelechen Galileo Figaro (Miss M Davies)
