1ST Amscot Angels and Demons (Mrs E M & Mr L E & Mrs J Poynter & Poynter & Collins-Pitman)

 Preferred the overall balance all through of this exhibit. Typical Gordon setter head and expression. A little more Typey than the second. Good straight good straight forearm well arched feet. Good depth of brisket and well ripped back. Would benefit from a little more weight or through but should come with maturity. Super coat and condition with correct deep colour. Reasonable front movement little soft on the move going away again, age will help.

   

2ND Glenquin Hurricane Bryerdale (Ms A & Mr J Mappin & Newton)

Not quite the Head at first. A little more rangy all through needs to drop into himself. Good bone and feet straight forearm depth of brisket to the elbow. Did tend to lose top line on the move. Good rear angulation and well let down. A very raw youngster.

1ST Cottonstones Dazzling Lad (Mr A J Burke)

A real teenager with a mind of his own certainly on the move. Well mate front with good strong bone and round feet depth of brisket to the elbow. Reasonable Lay of shoulder good spring of rib well filled in the line a good bend of stifle and well set tail with correct carriage on the move. Head needs to break a little at that age quite a strong skull at the moment. Is a shame that he wasn’t settled on the move but he could drive from the rear at times.

1ST Hero Majestic Manon Lescaut Yennadon (Imp Cze) (Ms M J Halliday).

Good balanced Head, with the kindest of expressions and typical Gordon type. Good depth of brisket and well sprung rib well rib back strong line move away with some drive and parallel. Good coat and condition and rich mahogany and black maybe a little wide in front coming towards you would’ve liked to slightly more level top line.

1ST Benbuie Comanche (Miss A G & Miss D Warren & Mezzeo). Won this class on his own for all balance to the eye. Masculine had an expression good skull well set year and correct proportions kind eye. Good bone and feet into clean neck and shoulder with a good depth of brisket and well ripped back good rear angulation and length of second thigh shown in super coat and condition and lovely dark rich Chestnut and coal Black coat. would’ve liked slightly better rear movement a little close behind.

2ND Forester's Northern Hunter of Darkmoor with Gadieburn JW (Imp Deu) (Miss A Michalak). A pleading had an expression well sat here into clean neck and shoulder. Slightly longer cast in line. With a good depth of brisket and level top line strong bone and feet. Correct tail set and carriage on the move with good rear angulation again good coat and colour.

1ST Fieldberry Secret Weapon at Rufusmoor JW Sgwc (Ms C Fudge). A masculine Dog all through no doubting he’s a boy. Good Head and I with well set ear correct proportions and balance. Clean forehand with straight forearm and good bone and feet good depth of brisket and wellspring rib strong loin and correct tail set and courage on the move. Good rich colour and well presented movement was okay both ways.

2ND Hernwood Cooper King (Mr L E, Mr N & Mrs E Poynter). Would have liked a more masculine head to this dog a well balanced head with good eye and correct ear set. Would benefit from being slightly longer cast just a little too square. Good strong top line and tail set clean forehand with good bone and feet. A well made rear construction with good bend of stifle liked his tail a little too much on the move.

1ST Sh Ch Bryerdale Quantas (ai) (Mrs P J Baines). I preferred the overall make and shape and balance of this boy compared to 2nd nothing overdone or exaggerated. Mature dog in full bloom with a full coat, colour deep and rich. Masculine had an expression with correct proportions and that typical Gordonsetter expression. Well-made front assembly with a good depth of brisket and well sprung rib well back. Good strong bone and round feet. Level top line with correct tail set carriage on the move deserving of his cc.

2ND Amscot Air Apparent (Mrs J & Mrs L Collins-Pitman & Cox). Another well-made dog slightly different in type, but all the same well balanced. Moderate all through with a good bend of stifle level top line correctly set tail encourage on the move super masculine head and expression with a good skull and defined stop well balanced proportions. Would like a little less across the shoulder. Move well enough both out and back kept a level top line on the move. RDCC.

1ST Waseley Hazy Dayz (Mrs K G Sweryda). I only seven months old she has the prettiest of Heads feminine with a lovely expression and a kind eye straight forearm with good bone and feet good depth of brisket level top line and correct detail set. Happy on the move and a good bend of stifle well balanced but maybe at this stage a little upright and shoulder.

2ND Ronaldsbill Mystical Fire (Mrs L Crowther). At only six months a real goalkeeper at the moment. Head needs to break a little to create that lovely expression expected of a golden Setter good Lay of shoulder into straight forearm with strong bone and round feet. Level top line correct tail set and good rear angulation good depth of brisket and boil rib back. Not sure where she should place her feet at this point on the move.

1ST Amscot She’s No Angel (Mrs J Collins-Pitman). Age made all the difference a lot more mature and finished. The most feminine of Heads with a kind and typical expression for a golden. Clean for hand with good length of neck and well leg shoulder good bone and feet and depth of brisket. Well ripped back and good spring to them nice Line strong. Good rear angulation with a level top line and correct tail set and carriage on the move. She really came together on the move showing herself to the best lovely good rich colour and coat and well presented. Best puppy..

2ND Kilnrae Back to The Future JW (Mrs K M Marsh). Pretty feminine head and expression with good eye correct ear set and well proportioned head. Nice make and shape clean all through, good rear angulation the level top line and correct tail set a balance bitch. Just lacking that extra coat to create the finished picture.

1ST Flaxheath Cover Girl at Glenmaurangi JW (Mrs A & Ms T Phillips & Watkins). Very elegant on the move showing that typical Gordon Setter swagger of look at me. Clean neck and shoulder with straight forearm., Good bone and feet. Good depth of brisket with wellspring rib and well back maybe like a little bit more rear angulation. Very nice feminine bitch.

2ND Harley Manon Lescaut Yennadon (Imp Cze) (Mrs N Ackerley-Kemp). Another well-made bitch well balanced with a good make and shape. Good head proportions with a kind eye correct ear set, feminine expression. clean forearm with good bone and feet level top line with correct tail set, good depth of brisket wellspring rib and strong loin another that moved well. Correct colouring with a good coat and well presented.

1ST Samsett First Edition (Mrs S Hamilton-Smith). A well balanced had an expression good skull without being overdone. I preferred to overall make and shape and had a firmer top line on the move. Correct tail set and carriage on the move. clean out Line with a straight forearm good bone. Well ribbed back with good depth of brisket moved well keeping a level top line. Good coat and colour and well presented.

2ND Hernwood Eternal Flame (Mr P & Mrs C A Sandiford). Another well-made bitch with a good depth of brisket full, well ripped back and correct spring. Straight forearm with good bone would’ve liked slightly better arched feet and did tenderise over the line at points on the move. Super coat and colour.

1ST Moonglade Lily Mae Magic (Mrs E Roberts). A feminine bitch with a well balanced head feminine expression good shape of eye, well set ear. Clean neck and shoulder into good forearm with good bone and feet good depth of brisket, well read back and correct spring. Strong loin, into well-made construction. Well let down the Short talk correct tail set level top line. Moved well and corrected to courage.

2ND Yennadon Highland Heidi (Mrs N Ackerley-Kemp). Another quality bitch with the most feminine head and expression. Kind eye well balanced proportions to the skull, and nothing overdone clean neck into well laid shoulders level top line with correct tail set good rear angulation. With correct bone and good feet straight forearm and depths of brisket and strong loin. A nice make and shape. Moved well enough both ways.

1ST Sh Ch Hernwood Gin Fizz JW (Mr P & Mrs C A, Miss C Sandiford & Lewis). A lovely class to judge with some quality bitches that all had strengths and can see why they are champions. I’ve just preferred the make and shape of this bitch such a good mover and presented in top order. Plenty of substance all through with a good depth of brisket well sprung rib and ribbed well back strong top line with correct tail set. Straight forearm with good bone and feet and a clean neck and shoulder. Well, let down behind an in good hard condition. Good coat and colour and moved the best of the class.CC and BOB.

2ND Ch Beechlake Hey Jude Sgwc (Mr A J Burke). Another quality bitch in super coat and condition. The prettiest of heads an expression. Straight forearm with good bone and feet level top line good depth of brisket and wellspring rib strong loin into well-made rear end. Correct tail set, moved out with some drive.

A striking bitching outline full of quality in super coat with a lovely texture lovely to watch on the move so elegant. Feminine had an expression with well set here and kind eye good wide nose. Clean neck and shoulder with a good depth of brisket and wellspring rib. Correct top line with good tail set encourage on the move. A well-made rear and well letdown. Reserve cc. veteran group 2.

2ND Benbuie Rose Quartz with Kellizlot (Mrs S M Tong). Not quite the balance of first. Good depth of brisket and well rib back with correct spring bone and straight forearm correct tail set. Moved away parallel but did tend to rise a little over the loin when moving in profile.

Good depth for brisket and spring of rib would like a little bit more bend of stifle. Super coats and condition with silky texture.
