Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge. It was a very hot day and as we were 2nd in it was a long wait to start judging. Because of this I was mindful not to keep the dogs out in the sun or move them too much. Thank you to all exhibitors for entering I thoroughly enjoyed my day

Class 1051 PD (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 2155 SHOVEL, Mrs Julie Peasblossom Daredevil For Tiverstone D Broad skull with a pleasing expression, would prefer a little more length to muzzle. Clean in throat. Well-boned, straight front. Deep chest with ribs of good length giving plenty of heart room. Strong quarters with good width to thigh. Moved out well."

2nd: 2174 WALKER, Mrs W M & WALKER, Mr S P Dexbenella Livin The Dream Another lovely puppy. Head will mature with time, set on a good strong neck with pleasing layback. Deep chest and strong, straight forelegs with sufficient bone. Short-coupled, with the rear developing well and good width of thigh. Moved well

1st: 2169 TOPLISS, Mrs T E Beresford Stand N' Stare Masculine head of good shape and size. Well-shaped eyes which should darken with time. Set on a strong, moderate neck with good layback. Straight front with good depth and length of rib. Short-coupled with a well-developed thigh. Moved out well

2nd: 2176 WEST, Mrs D Meonstoke Woodpecker At Grosbreuil Another of nice size and shape. Head still needs to mature but he is young. Set on a good length of neck with well laid-back shoulders. Straight forelegs with sufficient bone, lovely deep chest and good length of rib leading to a well-developed thigh. Moved out well.

2nd: 2144 HILL, Mrs Clare Teignvalley New Beginnings JW Handsome black and white dog with a beautiful, soft expression, enhanced by correct eye shape and colour. Set on a strong neck with good layback. Straight front with sufficient bone. Deep chest and good length of body leading to a well-muscled rear, which he used well on the move. Just needs time to develop into full maturity, as I would like a little more of him through the ribs.

1st: 2158 STEVENSON, Ms E Peasblossom Brogan At Gaolachcara Masculine headed boy with enough fore chest and depth of chest. Straight front with sufficient bone. Good depth and length of rib. Needs to develop and strengthen in the rear. Moved okay.

2nd: 2149 LE-CLERC, Mrs Amy & LE-CLERC, Mr Michael Hunterheck Fade To Black Black and white male with a nicely balanced head. Good depth and length of rib, presenting a well-proportioned outline. Moves freely, covering the ground well.

1st: 2151 MITCHELL, Mr & Mrs D & J Peasblossom Changes Lovely headed boy of correct size and balance. Set on a good length of neck into clean, well-laid shoulders. Has enough bone with good forechest and a straight front. Deep chest with good length of rib leading to a well-developed thigh of good width. Moved well in front and in profile, though a little erratic behind today. RCC

2nd: 2178 WEYMAN, Mrs J More Than Amazing Wanna Be A Gangster At Spuffing A different type, heavier in head I would prefer more refinement. Well boned throughout with correct front, deep chested with good length of rib. Moved with reach and drive

Class 1057 LD (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 2154 ROWLINSON, Mrs Edwina Meltarose Midshipman Stood alone but a good quality male. Masculine head, not overdone, set on a strong neck into well-laid shoulders. Enough bone with a well-developed fore chest and straight front. Deep chested with good spring and length of rib. Well-developed thigh which he used to drive powerfully around the ring — one of the best rear movers of the day.

1st: 2167 TOPLISS, Mrs T E Sh Ch Beresford Lockdown A lovely, balanced boy, not overdone in any way, whom I have admired for some time. He has a well-balanced head with good definition, a moderate neck, and a good return of upper arm. Enough bone and depth of rib, shorter coupled than some, and in excellent condition. Well-developed thighs and expertly handled to advantage. He has excellent reach and drive, moving true away and back. I could not deny him the Dog CC.

2nd: 2134 DARLING, Mrs Carol Elazlan Billy Kimber Another lovely dog, though of a different type. Masculine head set on a strong neck and well-laid shoulders. Lovely front with good bone and some of the best feet of the day. Has good depth and length of rib, with width through the loin and a well-made rear assembly. In excellent condition and moves very well, covering the ground with reach and drive.

Class 1059 VD (2 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: 2172 WALKER, Mrs W M & WALKER, Mr S P Sh Ch Dexbenella Atticus Finch ShCEx VW A lovely veteran who belies his age. Masculine throughout, with a well-proportioned head set on a good length of neck flowing into well laid-back shoulders. Strong in bone without being overdone, with a deep chest and good length of rib. Moved out well today.

2nd: 2157 STEPHENS, Mrs Emma Forgespring Fool Me Once Smaller black and white bitch with a feminine head and well-shaped dark eyes. Has enough bone for her size and moved out okay.

1st: 2130 CALVERT, Mr M & CALVERT, Mrs N Elazlan Elle For Leather Lovely feminine puppy who creates a beautiful picture when standing, displaying excellent balance and size. She has a balanced head with excellent proportions and a well-shaped eye. Flows into a good length of neck and well-laid shoulders, with a straight front and neat, tight feet. Well ribbed with a compact body leading to a well-developed rear with good width of thigh. Moved out well with confidence and style. Loved her — BPIB.

1st: 2159 STEVENSON, Ms E Spuffing Daiquiri At Gaolachcara Lovely type, very feminine in head and expression with well-shaped dark eyes. Good front with ample bone and tight feet. Shows lovely depth and ribbing, with a strong rear. Moved out positively and with purpose.”

2nd: 2135 DE CARTERET, Miss D G Dexbenella Believin Dreams At Derrindee Very feminine with a nicely shaped, balanced head showing good fluting and muzzle. Pleasing length of neck flowing into well-laid shoulders. Nicely proportioned body with moderate angulation behind and well let down hocks. Moved out well.

1st: 2171 TURVEY, Miss Thalia & MURRAY, Mrs Julie Meonstoke Wild Cherry At Harvancourt A well-balanced feminine bitch of lovely type. Her head is still to finish but she has a most feminine outlook with the kindest of expressions. Good length of neck into well-laid shoulders, straight front with deep chest and good length of rib. Maintains a good topline, with lovely hindquarters and she moved out well today.

2nd: 2170 TOPLISS, Mrs T E Beresford Stand Aside Lovely sized, moderate bitch. Feminine and well balanced with a pleasing head and correct width throughout. Good length of neck into well-laid shoulders. Deep chest with well-sprung ribs and a firm topline. Unfortunately, a little erratic on the move today.

1st: 2143 HILL, Mrs Clare Teignvalley Rags To Riches JW Lovely black and white bitch of good type. Feminine head with well-shaped dark eye and kind expression. Has good bone without being overdone. Straight front with neat, tight feet. Good length of neck flowing into well-laid shoulders. Presents good depth and length of rib. Rear developing well — just needs time to fulfil her promise.

Really pretty head with good width and length, well chiselled with a kind, expressive eye. Clean neck of good length flowing into a firm, well-held topline. Well boned with neat, tight feet. Excellent depth and length of rib, strong quarters with good width of thigh. Moved out easily with reach and drive. Considered for the RCC.

2nd: 2183 WILLIAMS, Mrs Jenny & TOUBLIC, Mrs Daisy & TOUBLIC Cobhay Heavenly Hydrangea JW JCH Be Moderate youngster who, although not yet the maturity of one, shows plenty of promise. Good length of neck flowing into well-developed ribbing for age, with pleasing depth and length. Enough bone for her stage of development. Needs to tighten behind, but overall lots to like and should continue to improve with time.

1st: 2136 DUNSDON, Ms Teresa Kingsheath Mayday At Seaspring lovely moderate bitch with the most beautiful head and soft, feminine expression. Balanced neck flowing into well-laid shoulders. Good bone and straight front with pleasing fore chest. Deep, well-sprung ribs leading to a well-developed rear with good width of thigh. Level topline, held well on the move.

2nd: 2168 TOPLISS, Mrs T E Shersona I Believe In Angels At Beresford Different type to the first, but a lovely sized bitch. Feminine head with a kind expression, though I would prefer a touch more width and depth to the muzzle. Moderate neck flowing into well-laid shoulders and a level topline. Deep chest with good length of rib, strong rear with good width to thigh, which she used effectively on the move.

1st: 2173 WALKER, Mrs W M & WALKER, Mr S P Dexbenella Double Vision Balanced feminine head with dark, well-shaped eyes. Moderate length of neck with good layback of shoulder. Good amount of bone with a deep chest and good length and spring of rib. Strong quarters with good width of thigh and well let down hocks. Moved out well, holding her topline throughout.

2nd: 2139 FRUSHER, Mrs Sandra D E & SLACK, Miss Megan Chanangel When You Believe At Shersona Another quality Springer bitch with a feminine head, good length of neck flowing into a deep chest with well-sprung ribs. She moved out well.

She has a balanced outline with a lengthy neck leading into well-laid shoulders, straight forelegs, and well-sprung ribs. Well coupled, with a moderate turn of stifle and strong, broad quarters. Moved with excellent forward reach and powerful drive from the rear, holding her topline beautifully throughout. CC & BOB.

2nd: 2150 MITCHELL, Mr & Mrs D & J Slo Ch Peasblossom Zoya Beautifully balanced feminine bitch with an excellent head and kind expression from well-set dark eyes. She has well-laid shoulders with a strong topline and well-set tail. Deep ribcage with a strong loin, and well-made hindquarters with good first and second thighs. Well-boned legs and neat feet, beautifully presented coat. Moved soundly and freely to complete the picture. RCC.
