Breed: Yorkshire Terrier

Puppy Dog

1st: Mrs. Parvin Trayshellin Topsecret- 11-month-old puppy of nice size and pleasing proportions. Head shows a flat skull with correct length of muzzle, giving a balanced expression. Good dentition. Moderate length of neck, flowing reasonably into the shoulders. Small ears, well carried. Colour still developing but promising for age.Topline acceptable for a youngster. Movement was sound and satisfactory, moving reasonably well for age.

Junior Dog

1st: Mrs P Evans – Kentauro Alfa Chili Pepper (Imp LTU)At 17 months, this dog presents a very pleasing picture of correct size and shape. He has a well-balanced head with a flat skull, beautiful dark eyes and a dark nose, giving a lovely expression. Correct dentition. Small ears, well set and carried. His coat is an attractive steel blue of correct silky texture. Holds a level topline when standing. Initially a little unsettled on the move, most likely due to hall noise, but once settled he moved well. A quality young dog with much to admire, and I was pleased to award him Dog CC.

2nd: Mrs Thompson – Fridstail Glorious Sirius at Oraysha-Another lovely dog of nice size and shape. Pleasing head with dark eyes and good dentition. Straight front and moderate length of neck. Moderate angulation, giving a balanced outline. Coat of correct texture. On this occasion, I preferred the greater richness of colour and head qualities of the first placed dog. A younger dog with much promise and one to watch for the future.

Open Dog

1st: Mrs Langen – Hunderwood Tout Un Art-This 3-year-old dog entered the ring alert and extremely attentive to his handler. Of lovely size with a flat skull, dark eyes and dark nose, giving a pleasing expression. Good angulation and correct dentition. Good tail carriage. Coat colour is a fairly dark blue, with tan on the rich side. Moved well. A quality dog who strongly pushed for the Dog CC, but on this occasion I preferred the head, coat colour and texture of the Junior Dog. Awarded Reserve Dog CC.

Minor Puppy Bitch

1st: Mrs Taylor – Bierlyn We Believe-A delightful 8-month-old bitch who presents as a really cracking puppy of lovely size. She has a well-balanced head with flat skull, correct length of muzzle, dark eyes and dark nose, and a correct scissor bite. Her coat colour and silky texture are extremely promising for her age. Good tail carriage. Moved confidently, holding her topline well. A very promising youngster, and I was pleased to award her Best Puppy in Breed.

2nd: Mrs Walsh – Wicklacy Ruby at Bielcee-A bright and very lively 6-month-old puppy with an appealing, feminine head. She has almond-shaped eyes with good dark pigment, a dark nose and correct scissor bite. Moderate length of neck. Her coat colour and texture are developing well for her age. She moved with confidence and enthusiasm. A pleasing youngster with promise.

Puppy Bitch

1st: Dixon-Hardwick – Geegees Heavensent to Aacharmoe-A 10-month-old bitch of nice size and shape. She has a very appealing head with dark eyes and dark nose, and a correct scissor bite. Moderate length of neck. Her coat colour is developing well, particularly the tan, and the texture is pleasing to the touch. Moved adequately for her age; topline still developing and expected to improve with maturity.

Post Graduate Bitch

1st: Boot & Fitzgerald – Jankeri Prudence at Jumara-A lovely bitch of pleasing size and shape. She has a well-proportioned head with flat skull and a moderate stop, dark eyes and dark nose, giving a pleasing expression. Correct dentition with tight lips. Straight front with good depth of chest. Good angulation throughout, contributing to a balanced outline.

Open Bitch

 1st: Mrs A. Kotova – Eburacum Violet-A very pleasing bitch of correct size and excellent overall balance. Feminine throughout, she presents a lovely outline with good proportions. The head is well shaped with a flat skull, dark expressive eyes, and a well-pigmented dark nose. Dentition is correct. She has a good length of neck flowing smoothly into a level topline, which she maintains well on the move. Body is compact with correct angulation front and rear, allowing her to move freely and confidently around the ring. Tail is well set and carried correctly. Coat is of correct texture and quality, enhancing her overall presentation. She moved soundly with good reach and drive, showing herself to advantage at all time.

2nd:Mr & Mrs Taylor-Bierlyn Something Else-A very attractive bitch with many pleasing qualities. She is of a good size and presents a pretty, feminine head with a lovely expression, dark eyes, and a well-pigmented dark nose. Ears are small, well set, and used correctly. She has a correct scissor bite. Front assembly is straight with good shoulder placement, leading into a moderate length of neck. She has moderate angulation front and rear and holds a level topline on the move. She moved soundly around the ring, however on the day I preferred the stronger movement of the first-placed bitch.
