DOGS:
VETERAN 3 (1ABS) 1. Hamilton’s – Ch Torfness Prince Harry of Galetibbian. How pleasing it was for the first dog to be examined was this quality specimen of the breed. 9 year old presented in beautiful heavy coat although I would have preferred to see a bit more weight on his back. The most desirable of masculine heads without a trace of coarseness. Longer cast than 2. Correct front with good bone and hare feet. Strong topline held on the move but in the challenge lost out on the RCC as he seemed to lack drive on the move. A worthy Title holder. Best Veteran.
2. Thomson’s – Susa Prince Charming ShCex – 7 year old presented in tip top condition. Preferred the head of 1 which was more masculine. Short in couplings. Well presented and handled. Covered the ground well.
MP 4 (2 abs) 1. Jordans – Malia Anada. Quite long cast. Very attractive masculine head and expression. Bright eyes and good depth of muzzle Correct ear set. Well laid shoulders. Strong topline with good tail set. Well bowed front. Mature, true movement. Very promising. 2. Lynch’s - Oldcharm This is Real Love
Overall good breed type. The photo I have of his head his tongue is pointing right up to his nose making it a cute picture. Broad skull with correct ear set. Lovely black mask. Good forehand. Level topline. Moved truly in both directions.
Puppy 4 (2 abs) 1. Duncan’s – Susa Appley Ever After JW. Attractive head of good proportions with black mask. Moderate length of neck flowing into the withers. Strong topline held on the move. Prefer to see more bow to the front which was quite narrow. Excelled on the move and preferred head over 2. BP. 2. Lemon’s – Parloueve Love Explosion at Oldcharm. Nicely balanced head but tear staining spoiling expression. Teeth showing occasionally. Stands good with well held tail. Well laid shoulders with nicely bowed front. Good bone and hare feet. Everything in proportion. Took time to get into his stride.
Junior 6 (2abs) 1. Coughtrie, Hendry & Patersons – Jazpiper I Am Maximus JW. 2 days short of his 18 months. Balanced well proportioned masculine head without a trace of coarseness. Another who liked to show off his tongue when I photographed his head. Good sized dark eye with mask to match. Correct earset.
His body is balanced with no exaggerations. Moderate neck flowing into withers. Excellent lay of shoulder with well bowed front.
Strong, level topline held on the move. His hindquarters have still to fully develop but this did not stop him flowing around the ring with style and elegance with feet barely touching the ground.
I was pleased to award him the DCC his second I was told. When it came to BOB I just preferred his effortless movement over the bitch CC winner who also was full of quality and breed type.
2. Lynch’s – Oldcharm Love Generation. A lot to like about this one but didn’t consider him for RCC but I’m sure his day will come.
Attractive clean head but prefer a little more depth to muzzle.
Prefer to see him with shorter couplings. Excellent forehand construction with bowed front. Deep in brisket. Long in loin.
Well developed hindquarters. Moved with style and purpose.
Well presented and handled. 3. Rice’s – Ricox I Deserve Your Love JW.
PG 4 (0abs) 1. Horton’s – Oldcharm Love To Love of Dixpat.
Pleasing head with good cushioning. He won over 2 on movement which was free and true in both directions. Did not cooperate too much with his handler today. Well bowed front and adequate lay back of shoulder. Strong level back. Held his tail well. In nice coat and condition. 2. Taylor’s – Oldcharm Can You Love Me at Maursett.
Pleasing head with black mask. Correct ear set. Good lay of shoulder and return of upper arm.
Strong over loin. Moderate neck flowing into withers. Level topline. Long in hocks. Moved OK. 3. Close’s – Velrok Royal Gold With Arikara.
Limit 7 (0 abs) Thomson’s – Tibbiestars Time Lord. The more I looked at him the more I liked what I saw. No exaggerations in any form. Quality from nose to tail and did enough on the move to be awarded RCC. Most attractive head which was so well balanced and
in proportion and complete with dark mask. Well bowed front.
Lovely temperament and attitude. Prefer to see more width to the thigh but this did not stop him covering the ground with style. RCC
2. Lemon’s – Parlloueve Made You Look. Well proportioned head with kind eye. Good depth of muzzle with fine cushioning .
Moderate neck flowing into withers. Well constructed forehand.
Strong bone with hare feet Well ribbed body. Carried himself well
on the move.
3. Thomson’s – Susu Parti In The Stars
Open 5 (1abs) Morton’s – Linsdown Karib. Presents a balanced profile with no exaggerations. Well bowed front. Pleasing head with good depth of muzzle and wide nostrils. Correct ear set.
Deep in brisket with well sprung ribs. Strong over the loin.
Held his tail well when standing and moving. Presented in lovely condition. 2. Coughtrie’s – Jazpiper Starlight Express. Nice type who spoint his chances by sniffing the ground on the move. There is a lot to like about him. Pleasing head with kind eye. Loved the way his moderate neck flows into the withers and keeps going into his strong, level topline. Well bowed front with strong bone and hare feet. Lacking in tummy feathering today. Neat hocks which he used to drive himself around the ring. 3. Colaco’s – Ch Saxtead Norbu.
BITCHES:
Veteran 1 1. Thomson’s - Tibbiestars Moulin Rouge. Small red lady of 7 years who has bags of personality. Attractive feminine clean head with correct ears. Moderate neck and good forehand construction. Strong level topline. In lovely condition. Moved with style. Unlucky to meet the Veteran Dog winner.
Junior 2 1. Rice’s – Ricox Ill Love You As You Are JW. Won easily over 2. Super clean head with alert expression. Well put together giving total balance with short couplings. Over stretched on occasions. Correct ear set. Strong back and good width of thigh.
Covered the ground with ease and style. Should have a bright future. RCC 2. Bailey’s – Parloueve Love Me. Apart from having little coat she is one who will need a bit more time to come together.
Her eyes are a bit too rounded for me although of good colour .
She is quite fine all over and needs a bit more weight. Quite long cast. Strong level back and holds her tail well. Moved really well.
PG 3 (1abs) Steed’s – Gianni Itsproperlush. Loved her balanced, feminine head and expression. Good dark eye. Correct ear set and carriage. Short in couplings. Well laid shoulder placement. Well bowed front with well boned legs. Hare feet. In full coat. Effortless movement with good drive from the rear. Good head and tail carriage on the move. The more I looked at her the more I liked her. 2. Leak’s – Malia Mistletoe Memories Mit Madire. Well made throughout and good overall breed type. Loved this one’s head, expression and black mask. So feminine and sweet. Mature body with good substance. Well laid shoulders and strong level topline.
Well muscled hindquarters. Well presented. Unlucky to meet 1.
LIMIT 10 (3ABS) 1. Thomson & Prentice’s – Crockerne Love To Talk With Tamrae. Excelled on the move which won her this class.
Attractive, feminine head with sweet expression. Well bowed front with good bone. Moderate length of neck flowing into withers. Quite a short back. Good head and tail carriage on the move. Good overall breed type with no exaggerations. 2. Coughtrie, Hendry & Paterson’s – Tullibell Pure Intentions For Jazpiper. Have admired this one from ringside. Beautiful head with appealing expression.
Love the flow of neck into withers. Good forechest with excellent lay of shoulder. Quite long cast with well developed hindquarters.
Moved with purpose. Well presented and handled.
3. Hamilton’s – Torfness Hollie Day Romance of Galetibbian.
OPEN 7 (0abs) 1. Morton’s – Lindsown Jodha. Short coupled one of excellent quality. Attractive feminine head with intelligent expression. Correct ear set. Excellent head and tail carriage.
No exaggerations in any form. Good front and bone. Strong topline. Moved soundly in both directions. CC which I understand was her third. When it came to BOB I considered the Dog CC winner was a bit fresher and covered the ground with ease.
2. Thomson & Prentice - Tamrae Parti With The Stars JW.
Longer cast than 1. Good clean lines with no breaks. Appealing femine head with typical expression. Nicely cushioned. Well constructed throughout. Good front and feet. Moved with purpose and true in both directions. Nice overall breed type.
3. Adams – Ch Balgay Okurimono.
