Breed: Cirneco Dell'Etna

Cirneco Dell’ Etna

Delightful and characterful breed, their smaller frame & size belies their ability to hunt very quickly and at great speed, stronger than they look sometimes & typically quite reserved with strangers, they look to be a very affectionate breed.

Veteran D/B (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st Taylor’s Teyora Ronco very shapely male of 8 years, light tan with lovely shaped male head good backskull & ear placement parallel, fine ears, good eye, bit of greyness in his head now, good jaw, arched neck & good shoulder placement, good infill & front, ribcage just right, has strength to his hindquarters which enabled him to move out well.

Best Dog & Best Veteran

Junior Bitch (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st Cross’s Whilloer Girl On Fire At Pedara darker tan finely boned & very feminine & of a smaller scale, lovely flat skull with equal length of muzzle, small oval eyes, straight forelegs but needs more infill in front, ribs are just about the right depth above elbow, tended to hunch which spoilt her overall outline, croup sloping off sharply to hindquarters which had reasonable angulation, erratic on the move with the front & rear at odds with each other.

Post Graduate Bitch (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st Bailey’s Quintina Del Gelso Bianco (imp Ita) (bb2) very nicely shaped girl, good head planes and body a nice squared shape with decent moderate angulation which at times enabled her to move around well but another that was at times erratic and tended to pick up her front legs in a more hackney style which was a shame.

Open Bitch (3 Entries) Abs: 1

1st Farleigh’s Kinabula's Lou Lou Lemon dark tan that has the most elegant outline, shapely all through, her head so lean & chiselled tapering off nicely with alert small amber coloured eyes taking it all in, erect fine ears finish off the exotic appearance, clean arched neck running into her shoulders, finely boned, depth just right arching up very gently, pleasing hindquarters, fine tail gently curved and held well on the move. Her forehand extending well with ease without any high stepping or exaggeration, hind action following through nicely around the ring. Best Bitch & BOB

2nd Taylor’s Teyora Wandering Star of finer build & dark tan in colour, her leanness of head & strength of jaw was good, flat cheeks, good parallel fine ears, nice strength of muscle in her neck, front could do with more infill & elbow slightly loose, ribs were narrow without any flatness & her loin strong, angled quarters but was closer behind when moving rather than following the forelegs through.
