Having judged all of FCI Group 7 earlier this year in eastern Europe was interesting to judge these classes here. Great turnout og Barbet, they were a little mixed in type, but the best really were excellent.

Special Beginners D (2)

Both Barbet

1st: 4077 WILLIAMS, Ms Elaine Novaforesta Adams

Not the most enthusiastic mover. He has a v good head. Correct neck, well laid shoulder. Deep chest. He is well ribbed. Level topline. V good rear. He is v well muscled. Good coat

2nd: 4049 BUNN, Ms Mandy Corve Defiance

He is well made but could just carry a bit more weight. He has a nice broad skull. Correct neck, good front. Well made rear, also a v good mover.

Both Korthals Griffons

1st: 4046 BLAIR, Miss Sallie Fidelix Outrageous

Much more forward of these 2. Liked his head. V good eyes. Enough neck. Moderate front angulation. Deep chest. Well ribbed. Good rear. Coat could be harsher.

2nd: 4075 TOWNSEND, Mrs Fiona & TOWNSEND, Mr Peter Fidelix Obsession

He has a super jacket. Liked his head. Medium neck. Too moderate in angulation, but balanced. Needs to develop in body.

Well ribbed to a firm loin. Super topline. Moderate rear with low hocks. V good coat. Thought him a top quality dog. BIR

Strong and fit Port Pointer. Has a v well proportioned head. Enough neck. Well filled front. His feet could be better. Deep chest. Level topline. Moderate rear. V good mover.

Just a bit too fine in head and long in muzzle. Correct short neck. Deep chest. She is balanced in her angulations. Level topline.

Slovak of correct size and proportions, v much the type I saw in their homeland. She has a super coat. Correct head. Enough neck. Well laid shoulders. Deep chest. Her topline is more level moving than standing. Moderate rear. V good, easy mover. Obviously still raw, but think she has great potential. RBB & BP

Well proportioned Korthals. Liked her fem head. Medium neck. A little forward in shoulder. Can develop in body. V moderate rear. In good coat.
