I very much enjoyed judging your breed for the first time at this level. The sportsmanship shown was fantastic, competitors congratulating each other in every class, and warm ringside applause – if only all breeds were like this. Sadly a fair few absentees on the day, but I was very happy with the quality overall. I was very impressed by how unexaggerated the dogs were, yes a couple of watery eyes, some too heavy in overnose wrinkle (and please remember to clean under the fold) some I would have liked a bigger nose/nostrils, but generally no big concerns. Apart from one slightly lame on the day all were able to move freely. So please keep on doing what you are all doing.

 Just 6 mths, thought him v promising. Quite good proportions and has some rise in topline. Deep head with v good width of jaw and chin. Not too much wrinkle. Well placed and dark eyes. Enough neck. He has a nice width of chest that is just below elbow. Well sprung ribs. Enough hind angulation with low hocks. V good mover.

Masc d of quite good proportions. Good width of skull. Dark eyes, slightly loose as yet. Good jaw,wouldn’t want any more nose wrinkle. Well set ears. Liked his width of chest. Well sprung ribs. Could be better in topline. V moderate rear. Typical mover.

 Liked his proportions. Masc head of depth and width. Slightly better nose than 1. Super eye and expression well placed ears. Enough neck. Liked his width of chest. Quite good feet. Decent length of upper arm. Well sprung ribs. Some rise in topline to his loin. V good tail. He has a turn of stifle. Sound and typical action. Thought him a high quality d who was super on the move. 2ND 3676 - Starbornbullies Tony Montana (Mr A Brosnan)

Masc d of v good proportions. Has plenty of sweep of jaw. Well placed eyes and ears. Enough neck. Wide chest . Decent leg length and elbows away from his body. Well sprung ribs. Rise in topline. Moderate rear. Really liked him a lot.

 Best mover in class, low strides and v typical. Liked his head for width and depth. Well placed, clean eyes. Good chin. Well set ears at corners of skull. Correct length neck. Good width of chest and well placed elbows. Good spring of rib, rise in his topline, could just be slightly shorter. Liked his rear. RCC

Masc d just a bit longer than ideal. Good width skull. Super ears. Big and open nose. Dark eyes. Enough neck. He is quite wide in chest. Moderate in rear. Not quite the clean movement of 1

 He is slightly long in body, but is a v typical mover. Super open nostrils and not too much over nose wrinkle, good turn of chin. Well placed ears. Enough neck. Liked his width of chest. Quite a good front. Rise in topline. Moderate rear.

2ND 3678 - Baalzebul Cupids' Beau (S M Davies)

 He too is slightly long. Liked his width of skull. V good chin. Nose could have been bigger. Well set ears. Enough neck. Has well sprung ribs. Moderate in rear. Better mover than 3.

 Liked his proportions. No exaggerations and he is a sound mover. Lots of loose skin on his throat now, but not at all over wrinkled in head and over his big nose. Medium neck. Shoulder is well laid back. Enough width of chest. Good topline, just a bit straight in stifle and tail could be better. BV

 Liked her proportions. She is fem in head,but still has the required width, lovely open nose. Good chin. Dark eyes. Would like better ears. Quite wide in chest. Medium neck, well spring ribs. Moderate rear.

2ND 3669 - Rosielolas Next Generation at Boltonbully (Mr L.r & Mr S.j Avison & Ainsworth)

  V much a baby and needs to come together. She is v fem. Lovely eyes and expression. Wide chest. A little too severe in topline asd yet and could have more turn of stifle.

 Quality fem b who is a very typical mover. Liked her proportions, not too long in back. V good head with a great expression. Ears could be slightly higher set. Open nose. Good chin. Enough neck. Liked her width of chest. Well sprung ribs going back to a short loin. She has rise in topline. Liked her rear. She was very close up to a green card.

Sadly other exhibit wasn’t quite sound so I felt unable to place her.

 She is longer than ideal, sound and typical mover. Fem head and has a super eye and expression. Ears could be slightly higher set. Lovely big open nose. Liked her width of chest. Feet could be tighter. She has well sprung ribs. Not too long in loin. Rise in topline. V good tail. Moderate rear.

Liked her compactness. Dark eyes, well turned jaw.ears are ok. Liked her neck. Decent front. Well ribbed. Just a bit moderate in hind action.
