Thank you for such a great entry. The breed is really varied at the moment, the best are excellent but there is a huge disparity in quality. On the plus side there were none with misplaced canines and only a few with lower incisors that could have been better. A few males were much to thin, and I was surprised how many were overweight – both of these can be easily sorted. Heads were qute varied and a few with round eyes. A Borzoi should not be long and flat in topline, and I did try and reward proportions and shape as much as possible. Many (most) have the same width at the rear as the front. Many feet should be better in a running hound. I really enjoyed sorting out the top quality dogs.

 Very easy moving d, accurate out and back and a lengthy stride, using his rear so well. Long head. Strong jaw. Correct neck into a well laid shoulder. Deep chest. Would prefer slightly more arch in his topline. Correct rear and so well muscled. BV

2ND 2997 - Ch Nibrass Hiroyuki Sanada (Miss H Kanoo)

Vey type d with a slightly better topline than 1. He has a v good head. Correct neck. Well laid shoulder. Could be slightly deeper in chest. Moderate rear, just not the drive of 1.

 Looks right for his age. Has a lengthy head. Could have a stronger neck and better shoulder. Super ribbing. Liked his topline. Correct rear. Moved very well, just a bit loose as yet.

2ND 3039 - Stubbylee Penderyn at Voyshka (Mr Cj Umfreville)

Very bouncy and happy pup, he is a promising prospect. Liked his head. Well made front, so shouldn’t lift legs like he did. Liked his topline. Excellent proportions.

1ST 3010 - Lynx The Magician at Menigma (Imp Swe) (Mrs S & Mrs I Pinkerton & Knieschke)

  Quite a shapely d and the best mover in the class. He is slightly strong in skull. Medium neck with a well laid shoulder. Can deepen in chest, as all in this class can. Liked his topline. V good rear, with enough angulation. Feet can improve. Shows a lot of promise. Quite forward for his age BPD

2ND 3016 - Everwyck Alphin (Ms S T Rogerson)

Liked his shape and proportions, not quite the front of 1. Lengthy head. Would like a little more neck and a longer upper arm. Well ribbed. Rear balances his front. V good feet.

Very well made d, could carry a little less weight. Lengthy head, little too much stop. Correct neck. Well laid shoulder with a long and sloping upper arm. Just enough arch in topline with a good fall away. Moderate rear. V good mover.

2ND 2956 - Uberic D'ellendil (Miss S Debricon)

He goes well, just a little long and flat. Head is shorter than 1. Medium neck. He is moderate in angulation but well balanced. Good fall away.

Well proportioned d, not as good moving in front as 1. Liked his length head. Could have more neck. He is well ribbed. Liked his rear.

He has a long easy stride, just a little longer and flatter than ideal. Liked his head. Well set ears. Enough neck. Decent front. Rear in balance with front.

Could be a little more precise in hind action,which gave the male the edge. In profile action she is so very beautiful. CC

She is such a lovely type of borzoi. Typical in head. She has enough neck. Not quite the front fill of 1. She has a graceful topline. Moderate in rear. So well balanced and therefore an even easy stride. RCC

V raw and need s to firm in pastern. Her proportions are good and she has an arch in topline. V moderate in angulation.
