Quite a lot of absentees, and a Thursday, so probably not a representative entry. I was, however, disappointed at how few had well laid shoulders. Good fronts have to be bred for, and not easy to get right.

Quite a well made d in super muscle. Well proportioned head. Super eye and expression. Enough neck. Slightly forward in shoulder. Good legs and feet. Well ribbed back. Liked his topline. Strong rear. Looked good in profile action.

2nd: 1215 NETTLETON, Mrs Mary Louise Waffelins Velorum

V well presented d, just not quite the front of 1. Strong head. Dark eyes. Medium neck. Deep chest, well ribbed back. Topline is ok. Well bent stifle and low hocks.

Shapely d who excels in profile action. Liked his well balanced head with good stop. Well placed, dark eyes. Moderate neck. He is a little short in upper arm, making him wide in front. Deep chest. Well ribbed back. Moderate topline. Well made rear with low hocks. He just could be more precise going away. V well presented.

Has a really lovely head, strength of skull and muzzle. Super eye and expression. Lengthy neck. Quite a good front. Deep enough chest. Well ribbed back. Correct topline. More hind angulation than 2. Coat could be a bit longer. Moved v well. RCC

2nd: 1200 BUCKLEY, Miss H Lovelettie Busy Bean

Masc d, would prefer a stronger muscle. Big dark eyes. Medium neck. His angulations are moderate but well balanced. Some rise in topline. Liked the texture of his coat.

Well made masc d, in good coat. Liked his well proportioned head, would prefer bigger and darker in eye. Lengthy neck.Best shoulder of the males. Enough forechest. Deep body. Well ribbed back correct topline. Well bent stifle with low hocks. Accurate mover with a balanced stride. CC

2nd: 1212 MILTON, Mrs B & KURG, MRS B Ch Barton Dandies Charles Darnay (imp Esp)

Liked his outline, rather short of coat today. Has a masc head with super eye and expression. Strong neck. Bit forward in shoulder. Deep chest. Ok topline. Moderate rear. He is a v good mover.

Very well put together pup. She has a fem head with strength. Good eye and expression. Moderate in neck. Has a v good front with well laid shoulder. Well ribbed back. Topline is ok. Good coat. Moderate in rear. Moved well. RCC behind what turned out to be her sister. 2 gems.

2nd: 1211 MILLS, Mrs Cherry & MILLS, Mr Malcolm Lairdship Lickity Split

Very promising, just need a bit more confidence. Liked her head. Super eyes. Medium neck. She is a bit forward in shoulder. Well ribbed back. Coat ok. Liked her rear.

Really good puppy. Fem head, good balance of muzzle to skull. Lovely eye and expression. Medium neck. Well laid shoulder. V good legs and feet. Liked her body . Better topline than 2. V good rear, which she uses so v well. Coat ok for age. CC & BOB

2nd: 1219 SLEIGHT, Miss L Finamor's Voulez Vous With Bonnybeck

A lot to like about her. She has a v good head, good balance muzzle to skull, super eyes. Lengthy neck. BIt forward in shoulder. Long body. Well made rear. Good mover.

Fem b with a delightful temperament. Not in full coat. Moved quite well. Liked her head balance. Dark eyes and a super expression. Lengthy neck. Shoulders a bit forward. Well ribbed back. Strong loin. Moderate rear.

Free moving b. Liked her muzzle to skull ratio. V good eye and expression. Medium neck. She is just a bit forward in shoulder. V good legs and feet. Deep chest. Well ribbed back. Moderate hind angulations which is v good balance to front. Liked coat.
