Northern Tibetan Spaniel Club

Breed: Tibetan Spaniel

Northern Tibetan Spaniel Club

My thanks to the club for the invitation and warm welcome. An excellent hall for the breed, I thank my 2 very efficient stewards for keeping the ring running smoothly, the catering team for the wonderful lunch and exhibitors for their entries and sportsmanship. A good entry but quite a few absentees. There remains quite a variety in the breed, some are almost square and others too long. Not too many were too overcoated. Mouths need watching, whilst only a very small number were penalized (overshot is not really acceptable in the breed) there were a number much less than perfect. All were well presented and movement wasn’t too bad overall. Very heartening to see so many young handlers, and some really good young female Tibbies.
