Cardigan Welsh Corgi

Quite a mix of type, as always and plenty of compromises to be made. Temperaments are much improved from previous years.

Well made d who is not as heavy as he looks. Quite a strong head of good proportions. V good ears. Enough neck into a well laid shoulder. Typical front. V well ribbed back. Well made rear. Accurate mover going at his own pace. Holds his level topline. V good typy cardi. RCC & BV

1ST 3731 - Ancksunamun Host of Goa’uld (Mrs T Smith)

Good outline and proportions. Masc head. Dark eyes. V good ears. Length neck. Slightly forward in shoulder and front legs quite straight. Well sprung ribs that go well back. Moderate rear. Uses his rear well moving. Bit proud of his tail at moment. Lots of promise.

Lengthy d. Strong and masc in head. Slight stop. Dark eyes. V good ears. Medium neck. Well laid shoulder and a long sloping upper arm. Turns feet out just a bit too much. Deep chest. Well ribbed. Moderate rear. Can loose his topline on the move and would prefer a bit more stride.

1ST 3720 - Kerman Wizard of Oz (ai) (Miss F Fricker)

Could show a little more enthusiasm. Liked his proportions, in quite heavy coat. He has a v good head, well set ears. Enough neck. Slightly forward in shoulder. Deep chest. Could have a shorter loin. Well made rear which he uses so v well. V good tail.

1ST 3729 - Gowerston Geriant of Caprian JW (Mrs C A Langford)

Liked his overall proportions and has a super temperament. Good head , well set ears that could be bigger. Lengthy neck. Ok in front. Well sprung ribs. Strong rear. Decent stride.

2ND 3716 - Gowerston Granville (Miss J Fox)

 The most compact in body of the trio. Liked his head with excellent ears. Medium neck. Well laid shoulder. A little narrow through the front. Well ribbed back. Firm in topline. Moderate rear. Easy mover.

3RD 3714 - Gowerston Grantchester (Mr R Field)

 Found him a well made and very typical cardigan. Well balanced in head. Well placed, large ears. Could have a little more neck. Good forechest. Well laid shoulder with long upper arm. Typical front. Round feet. Well ribbed. Level in topline. Moderate rear. Accurate mover with a lengthy stride holding topline. CC fairly comfortably today.

2ND 3738 - Ch Tamlin Millennium Falcon (Mrs T E & Miss B J Taylor)

 Liked his proportions. V typical in head. Long neck. Not the front of 1. Well sprung ribs. Firmer topline than 3. Well bent stifle and low hocks. V easy mover.

2ND 3721 - Wildcard Queen of Clubs for Gerefa (Mr R V & Mrs C A Froggatt)

Rather heavy now. Liked her muzzle and skull balance, ears a little smaller than ideal. Medium neck. Her angulation is v well balanced and so goes with an even stride. In thick coat.

V promising pup, fem and has v good proportions. Liked her head, low set big ears. Long neck with a well laid shoulder. Good length upper arm. Round feet. V well ribbed back. Topline can settle. Liked he rear. V good on move. Think she shows a lot of promise. BP

 Just 12 mths and looks raw, which is a good thing. Liked her proportions. Has a fem head, flat skull. Well set, big ears. Long neck. V good front. Well ribbed. Can firm in topline. V good rear. Accurate mover with a long stride. Tail could be lower but v happy. RCC

 Quite a typy b, much more body than 1. Quite a strong head and would like a better expression. Medium neck. Well balanced in her angulation. Topline is ok. Accurate on the move,

  Liked her length but rather soft in topline and ribs need to go further back. Liked her head, v good proportions, flat in skill. Super ears. Long beck. Lacks forechest. Feet can firm. Quite a good rear. Tail carriage rather detracts.

  Well put together. Just tends to shorten up a little on the move. Well balanced in head. Correct

ears. Moderate in neck. Well knuckled in feet. Well ribbed with a level topline, moderate rear. Moderate length stride.
