This is such a lovely breed and I thought quite a good entry. The opening paragraph of your standard calls for a build that can be compared to a weight-carrying hunter. I felt many did not really meet this and were more English in build than Gordon. Some mucky colours. Presentation was excellent.

 V typy d who had the best shoulder in this class. Liked his head. Dark eye with a lovely expression. He has enough neck. Chest to elbow.. Holds a firm topline. Well made rear with low hocks. Fairly accurate on the move. BP

  Liked his balance and proportions. V good head of length and strength. Has enough neck. Better shoulder than 3. Deep chest. Slope to croup. Just needs to firm in front action.

 Best bodied of these, his chest is to elbow and has enough spring of rib. Liked his head proportions, but slightly heavy in flew. Lengthy neck into a well laid shoulder. Level topline, correct slope to croup. Enough hind angulation. Fairly lengthy stride and fairly accurate out and back.

2ND 175 - Lainnireach Star Gazer (Miss J Cuthbertson)

 This junior has an excellent profile action. Masc head of correct proportions. Strong neck. Still needs to develop in body. Firm in topline. Moderate rear.

 Liked his outline, only just out of junior and just needs to mature in body. Good proportions of muzzle to skull. Lovely eye and expression. Has enough neck, well laid shoulder. Elbows nicely under him. Firm topline. Enough hind angulation with low hocks, just uses his rear better than 2, and tidier in front.

  V good outline and he is in super coat. Slightly long in muzzle, dark eyes. Medium neck. Deep and well filled chest. He is well ribbed back. Liked his underline and firm in topline. Moderate hind angulation.

 V good outline and proportions and he is fairly accurate moving. Lengthy stride and holds his outline. Could be a bit stronger in head and have better eyes. Medium neck. Well laid shoulder. Deep chest and well filled in front. Well sprung ribs going back to a firm loin. V good rear.

2ND 196 - Liric Just The Ticket (Mr H & Mrs M Miller)

 Liked his outline. Quite a strong head, bit heavy in flews and would prefer better eyes. Long and strong neck. Quite a good front. Well bodied. Topline is ok. Rear matches front so has a balanced and easy stride. Would like a better tail.

 He is a v well made d of v good type. Well-proportioned in head. Dark eyes. Enough neck into a well laid shoulder. Deep chest. Liked his spring of rib back to a short and strong loin. Has a level topline and slope to croup. Well bent stifle with low hocks. Fairly accurate on the move and an east stride. Thought he looked so very typical. CC & BOB

Lots to like about this v well presented d. Would prefer better head planes. He is quite moderate in neck, but his shoulders are well laid. Deep chest with enough fill. Topline is firm. Well made stronger rear. V well muscled and went v well. RCC

 Another promising pup. Better head than 1. Could be better in neck and shoulder. Just needs to body but ok for age. Just a bit moderate in rear, but she is nicely balanced.

 Only just out of puppy and so rather raw. Liked her outline and proportions and she is so easy on the move. Fem in head. Lengthy neck with a well laid shoulder. Deep enough in chest. Level topline. Well made rear, just rather close moving away. V good prospect.

 Like her proportions. She is fem in head. Long neck. Moderate and balanced in angulation. Firm in topline Not using her rear as well as she might.
