Bernese Mountain Dogs

Excellent entry but a lot of absentees, it seems some took advantage of the multiple dogs deal. A few were a bit short in legs and shoulders are still a problem. Overall plenty of good dogs being shown and presentation was excellent.

1st: 80 TOMKINS, Mrs Jacqueline Anne Fortonpark More Class For Bernershaw

Well presented d of quite good proportions. Skull same length as muscle. Darl eyes. Could have a bit more neck. Broad in chest. Well sprung ribs with short loin and firm topline. Moderate rear. Little untidy in front. Parallel at the rear.

1st: 43 BRIDGES, Mrs Shandy Ch Kernow Troublue

Thick coat and heavy in body makes him look a bit short in leg. Well balanced head. Dark brown eyes. Medium length of neck. Ok shoulders. Well sprung ribs. Topline level. Well bent stifle with low hocks. A bit close going away and wide in front. In v good bloom.

Easy moving d of quite good proportions. Would like a little more length of muzzle. Has a v good skull. Dark eyes. Medium neck. Enough width of chest. Well sprung ribs. Could be firmer in topline. Moderate rear.

He is just a bit long. Strong and masc in head. Medium neck. Shoulders set slightly wide. Deep chest. Well ribbed. Moderate rear. Not as easy moving as 1 but more width than 3.

Heavier and longer than ideal, but he moved v well. Liked his masc head, well balanced, calm expression. Medium length of neck. Feet could be better and can turn out slightly. Well sprung ribs. Moderate rear.

2nd: 67 KLUGE, Mrs Renata Hugo Boss Mocne Kurpianki At Morgenmegs

Liked his shape and proportions, he could be a bit stronger in temperament. V good head. Lengthy neck. Shoulders are forward. Chest to elbow and v good length of leg. Holds a firm topline. Rather moderate in rear. Even mover.

Tight feet. Well sprung ribs. Level topline, firm loin. Well made rear. Accurate on move with a lengthy stride. CC & BOB

Liked his proportions. Quite a good head. Medium neck. Not shoulder of 1. Elbows could be better set. Well spring ribs. Topline could be firmed. Used his rear so v well.

Maybe not the most masculine, liked his outline and proportions and he is a v easy mover. Could have a wider skull. Medium neck with quite a good shoulder. Chest to elbow. Enough width chest. Topline more level than it appears. Well made rear. RCC

Heavier d who is a bit proud of his tail on the mover. Has a strong and masc head. Medium neck. He moves v wide in front. Well spring ribs. Moderate in rear.

Typy b of v good proportions, moved better than 2. Liked her head, has good width of skull without loosing femininity. Lengthy neck and quite a good shoulder. Well ribbed back. Topline a little soft. Moderate rear. BV

Liked her outline and proportions, not moving as well in front as she might She has a v good head. Slightly short in neck. Well bodied. Topline is ok moderate rear.

V much a baby. She has a fem head. Lengthy neck. Better shoulder than 2. Rather high at the rear at the moment. Moderate rear. Moved quite well. BP

A lot to like about her. She is also a little high at the rear. Head is fairly well balanced. Medium in neck. Well sprUng ribs. V moderate rear. Can firm in action.

Liked her shape. She has a fem head of good proportions. Just a bit loose in front action. Medium neck, well sprung ribs. Level topline. Moderate in rear.
