BLACKPOOL CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW JUNE 2025

LARGE MUNSTERLANDER

Post Graduate Dog (1)

1st Uherkovichova Ulys Du Pic Des Berlanches avec Exelby (Imp Fra)

A two year old dog with an attractive head of correct proportions, kind dark eye and tight eyelids. He has good bone and substance, he is quite rangy at the moment and needs to fill his frame. Well balanced when stacked with modest rear angulation, moved out on a good stride but tends to fly his tail.

Limit Dog (1)

1st Logie & Braidwood Graf Iii vom Busshof at Albadhu

A top quality dog that has all the essentials, super attractive head of correct length, dark eye and alert expression. He has a correct shoulder lay, good width and depth to chest, strong loin and sturdily built throughout with strong rear quarters Today he was hindered by the amount of excess weight he was carrying which made him untidy in profile over the neck and shoulders. Moves well with good rear drive.

Open Dog (6)

1st Waddington & Chick Albadhu Walk of Life

Well balanced in head, enough width to skull with correct high earset. He has a strong neck, leading to a well made front assembly and has correct angulation both fore and aft. A solid and workmanlike dog so well-constructed throughout with well boned legs, strong pasterns and well sprung ribs. Shown in tip top muscular condition and moved out on a long stride driving off strong hocks. Pleased to award him the CC.

2nd Webb Albadhu Counting Stars

Has a quality head with good length, loyal expression and correct earset.

Not as well constructed in forequarters as my winner which resulted in wider front movement. He has a firm topline and well-muscled loin and rear quarters with adequate angulation. Held his topline on the move with good tail carriage.

3rd Middleton & Trowsdale Elmer vom Blitzenbach at Amasffoy (Imp Deu)

Veteran Dog (1)

1st Macgregor Sh Ch Ekkolander Snowstorm

This dog is of lovely type, with a very balanced and compact outline. Excels in head, clean through neck and excellent front with elbows tight in. Well-muscled hindquarters with good span to thigh and gentle slope from croup. At nine years he still has great movement with correct tail carriage and shown in great coat and condition A credit to his owners. My Res CC and Best Veteran

Puppy Bitch (1)

1st Evans Tarkanya Ritas Raspberry

Very pleasing in head, has good length and kind eye, correct earset. Well laid shoulders, developing well in forechest and has correct turn of stifle. Just at that expected leggy stage but should do well once she fills her frame. Enthusiastic puppy but she settled more each time she moved. The only puppy entered today but so worthy of her Best Puppy award.

Junior Bitch (2)

1st Saynor Ekkolander Rumour

Two very pleasing girls in this class. My first was very feminine and pretty in head with correct proportions and kind dark eye. On the stack she presents a very balanced outline with a solid topline and correct angulation fore aft. Just the right amount of bone and moved out with purpose using her well-muscled quarters. Considered her for Res CC.

2nd Darby Crumpsbrook Anneke to Incadar

Another promising youngster with all the essentials in place. Elongated head shape with pleasing bright expression, correct earset and dark eye. Plenty of neck length and good straight front assembly. I thought her a tad longer cast than my winner in body but has good sweep of stifle and strong hocks. Moved soundly with enthusiasm.

Post Graduate Bitch(1)

1st Robins Tarkanya Ritas Ruby with Destanli

Really liked her head and expression, strong neck with shoulders well placed and good ribbing. Well developed rear quarters and correct tailset. Such a shame she was so flat today and really didn’t want to be handled and was lethargic on the move.

Limit Bitch (3)

1st Simpson & Johnson Ekkolander Persephone Red at Leriton

I though this bitch most attractive in head with correct length and good width to skull. In profile she is well so constructed and well balanced with a solid body, short coupled, firm loin and excellent rear quarters with good thigh width. Going away she has strong rear action but tended to move wide in the front today.

2nd Bisset Albadhu Written in The Stars

An attractive dark bitch built on compact lines and presents a well balanced outline. Excels in head shape with enough length, clean over neck with correct straight front and strong pasterns. She is well ribbed with strong loin and sound quarters with enough angulation. I was disappointed that she seemed unhappy today and moved with her tail down and lacked any animation.

3rd Raycris Mclellan Fields of Glory for Saranden

Open Bitch (4)

1st Ogle & Suchett-Kaye Dual Ch Raycris The Temptress

On the stack this bitch catches your eye and commands attention. Although she is well up for size everything is so balanced. I found her so well constructed throughout with matching front and rear angulation. Very attractive head, dark eye colour, well arched neck and good lay of shoulder. She has strong firm hindquarters with good span to thigh, correct tailset which she carried well on the move. She has flowing movement driving well from behind and was presented in gleaming coat and tip top muscular condition. Pleased to award her the CC and BOB.

2nd Logie & Braidwood Sh Ch Albadhu Final Encounter

A quality bitch with everything in the right place. Excels in head proportions with lovely expression. She has good bone a super forehand with correct upper arm. Body is of good depth and enough width to chest and well ribbed back. Behind she has correct angulation and with hocks well let down. Moves out freely covering plenty of ground. Felt she lacked coat today but her other many attributes won her the Res CC in good company.
