Scottish Kennel Club Championship Show held at the Royal Highland Showground
Hound Day Sunday 18th May 2025
Thank you to SKC for their invitation and to all the exhibitors for their entries. Now, being a double show comes with risks of clashing classes, which we did manage to avoid in the main, and those that did, we didn’t have to wait too long. We managed to finish in good time for the groups, and some exhibitors had to travel hours before getting home after a long day.

1ST - Amaffrey Sirius Black (Mrs A J Bullis) – B/T at just turned 6 months he is in lovely condition and lovely size for his age, typical hound head with dark almond-shaped eyes, his neck was long and muscular without being overdone, ample length of upper arm reaching out on the move. He had plenty of ground clearance. When it came to best puppy it was very close.
2ND - Stargang Morrissey for Devondax (Miss K Small) – slightly older boy but not as far on with development, his time will come. Masculine head and expression. He had enough chest for age although I would like a better length of ribbing. On the move he was a little loose but time is on his side.
