WEST OF ENGLAND COLLIE SOCIETY

ROUGH COLLIE BITCHES 

I would like to thank the Committee of WECS for inviting me to judge Bitches at their show. I was very pleased with my line up and eventual top winners. Quite noticeable today were short tails, a fair few overweight and lacking muscle tone especially the hind quarters these are a working breed and should lean and well muscled, but on the whole confirmation was good as was presentation.

1st Brookers Telforth Sweet Dreams To Corisian JW

Shaded s/w bitch belying her age, from the tip of her nose to the tip of her tail she is so feminine . Head handles so well, moulded foreface, good underjaw, stop perfectly placed , her eye is so dark and well set, ears bang on top used all the time, giving the desired expression. Her make and shape is just so elegant, short neat strong hocks just the right amount of bone and on the move she steps out as her confirmation suggests with correct low carried tail. In glorious condition and groomed to perfection I found her a total delight CC BOB, BVIB, RBIS BVIS

1st Waterhouse Lynmead Loves This Design

8th months s/w built on graceful lines, lovely reach of neck, good front and rear angulation, well proportioned body. Head handles nicely good underjaw, nicely moulded forface, sweet eye and expression and ears well used. Moved well round the ring with good hind movement , well bent stife and straight front, in the challenge she just was not as forward on the move as the puppy winner .

2nd Lockyers Gataj Struck by Love 

8mth S/W pretty eye and expression, well used ears, could have a touch more neck to give a better outline but time is on her side. Moved out well but needs to tighten up on hindquarters , very well presented .

1st Scotts Chantique Away Wi The Fairys.. 10th Month glamorous s/w puppy, standing presents a nice picture lovely reach of neck enhanced with a big white collar , good angulation front and rear. clean in head no coarseness, lovely eye shape and neat ears giving a sweet expression, on the moved stepped out well and in the challenge just moved out more confidently BPB

1st Llewellyn Salsina Blushing Rose 

Very Glamorous s/w, presented in lovely coat and condition, typical type from the kennel. Sweet feminine head , good moulding to forface, clean in stop, lovely eye shape and ear carriage giving the desired sweet expression. Excellent neck and spring of rib and length of back, short hocks allowing her to move with an easy gait around the ring with low set tail. Stood and showed very well

2nd Baker Salsina My Girl of Marilake

Similar type to 1 and from the same kennel. Tad smaller all through but all in proportion , in extremely good coat which was well presented. Appealing head and expression with neat ears used all the time , has enough neck and length of back, moved out well

Appealing bitch, refined head almond eye pleasing expression, little reluctant to use her ears which are a tad wide set. Has a good make and shape about her, lovely presentation went well on the move.

Tri bitch pleasing head and expression, not a showing fool but did enough. Good bone and condition but rather overweight, hind movement needs to strengthen, lovely temperament.

Mills Samhaven Super Natural At Willowcombe

5yrs Blue , Pleasing head and expression , well moulded forface good stop, dark eyes and well used ears perhaps a little wide. Had enough neck and length of back, made on good lines, tad overweight affecting her enthusiasm on the move, correct tails carriage

1st Tame Gataj time After Time at Rahlissa 

Elegant s/w standing presents a lovely picture standing. Head handles well good moulding to forface well placed stop, lovely dark eyes and shows all the time. Well made on good lines, arched neck into lovely shoulder placement and length of back, good bone and feet, went well on the move as confirmation would suggest, shows very well and presented beautifully in the challenge she appeared lame on a hind leg which was a shame.

2nd Rae Gataj Majestic Hope

Feminine s/w btch, pleasing head and expression but ears need some attention as tended to be prick today. Made on good lines albeit a little fine althrough, moved out well fore and aft .

Elegant tri bitch in super coat shows all the time, pretty feminine head moulding, flat skull , nicely placed dark eye , clean stop, neat ears bang on top and used all the time giving a sweet expression . Standing has a lovely outline and on going over her she is well made in all departments short hocks and enough bone she moved out true for and aft with a low set tail.

2nd Larkin Rahlissa Toffee Cake For Denora

One I have previously done well but today she was slightly out of coat and appeared a little short in neck, her head is delightful good moulding, clean in stop and a sweet expression , built on good lines which showed in easy movement around the ring , shows and handled very well

1st Carlton Lynmead Royal Beauty of Sambreeze

Elegant s/w bitch standing has a lovely outline on going over her she has good shoulder placement and reach of neck, correct length to height , well bent stifle. Very feminine head with good moulding to forface , well placed stop and sweet dark eye giving a lovely expression. On the move she did not disappoint moving out with an easy stride, short hocks good bone and neat feet well presented.

2nd Scamp Aaronwell Allure in Black 

Feminine tri pleasing head and expression, well moulded forface neat ears used all the time, could have a little more neck. A little overweight but in good coat and well presented. Moved was OK but a little weak on hindquarters.

1st Llewellyn Avonfair Secret Love Letter to Salsina 

Another glamorous bitch from this kennel, beautifully presented and in very good coat and condition. Head is delightful, no coarseness , clean cheeks, nicely moulded forface, correct stop , dark almond eye and ears used all the time giving a lovely expression. Stands and shows very well . Her confirmation is well balanced throughout with lovely neck into good shoulders with length of back and good spring of rib, bend of stifle and short hocks nice bone and neat feet with low set tail which showed in her sound movement pleased to award her the RCC.

2nd Ware Millubie Essence of Magic at Wassail (Imp Serb) 

Tri bitch I have seen on a few occasions from the ringside slightly smaller than 1 but she is all in proportion, head handles nicely, well moulded foreface, well placed stop, lovely dark eye, and neat ears which she used all the time, ample neck, good front and rear angulation with well bent stifle and good bone, she stepped out round the ring with confidence very attentive to her handler . Well presented ..
