This dog is a litter brother to the open winner and has a lovely, square silhouette that is both compact and sturdy. He has a masculine, wedge-shaped head with a dark eye, but slightly lower ear carriage. His strong neck flows into a well-held, firm topline. There is a nice depth to his brisket and a good spring to his ribcage. I appreciated his wide quarters and the bend of his stifle. He was shown in good coat and moved cleanly in all directions.- RBD

This is a very smart and compact two-year-old dog who stands firmly and proudly. I liked his well-proportioned outline when stood. He works well with his handler, which helps him show to advantage. He has a handsome, wedge-shaped head with neat erect ears and dark oval eyes that convey an intelligent expression with a hint of mischief. He has a strong neck, leading to a firm level topline, and a well-set tail. Liked his good depth, and spring in his ribcage along with a short loin. Standing on well-boned limbs and tight feet. He uses his muscular hindquarters to power around the ring while maintaining his outline. He is presented in excellent coat, with good markings and condition – BD & BOB

There is so much to admire about this 6-year-old dog. He is a quality hound, although he wasn’t showing himself today as I know he can. He has a lovely head that is nicely proportioned, with a dark foreface and well-shaped dark eyes that give him a keen and alert expression. His body is well-developed, with good depth and substance, although he is a fraction longer in the loin. He maintains a firm topline both when standing and moving. His tail is well set on and carried. He has strong and powerful hindquarters, but today he is not quite as positive on the move.

Class 1536 MPB (3 Entries) Abs: 0  Lovely litter, 3 cracking youngsters

1st: 3112 COWPER, Mrs J E & STOKES, Mrs Barbara Bowerhinton Bonny Beth At Rothenborg

This is a 6-month-old girl who is currently the most mature among her litter sisters. She has a compact profile with good leg length that provides balance. Her head is feminine and wedge-shaped, and well-proportioned overall. Her foreface is dark and tapering, her expression is keen and alert from her dark oval eyes. She has a strong neck, with good fill in her forechest and depth to her brisket, as expected at this age, she still needs to firm up her topline a little. Despite her young age, she moves well.- BP

2nd: 3120 MAUN, Mrs T Bowerhinton Ball Of Fire

Litter sister to winner, who is 'naughty but nice' and very endearing. Her outline is quite similar, just slightly more refined overall. I liked her overall shape and silhouette. She has a pleasing head, dark eyes, and well-placed ears. Her neck is clean and of good length, flowing into a decent topline and correctly set on tail. While she doesn't have quite the depth and ribbing of the winner yet, her shape is promising. She moves well once she has settled.

1st: 3122 MIDDLETON, Mr Mrs Brian And Linda Kamgaard Kadence At Graythor

I appreciated the strength and substance of this 2-year-old bitch. She has a moderate and functional build. Her head is feminine with a good width at the back skull, ears not quite as small or high set but dark as is her foreface, she has a lovely dark eye that gives a gentle expression. She has a strong neck that flows into a firm and level topline, is deep in brisket, and has a good length of leg. Her hindquarters are moderate with decent thigh width, though today she does not have quite the same effortless drive as the winners. Her coat texture and markings are correct.

Class 1540 LB (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 3125 TYSON, Mr Craig & TYSON, Mrs Louise & TYSON, Miss Bowerhinton Bright Flame At Starceylon JW

Lovely body lines on this 20 month old bitch, she has a pleasing flow through the neck and topline. Stacked, she presents a compact and square profile. Attractive, feminine head, good width of backskull with neat ears, and dark, inquisitive eyes. Moderate with strength to her neck and a firm topline to a well set on tail. Nicely developed throughout the body. Strong and muscular hindquarters. Shown with a good dense coat and markings. Fluid with positive footfall on the move. Close up for top awards – RBB

Class 1541 OB (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 3119 MAUN, Mrs T Bowerhinton Blackbird

Quality, balanced and unexaggerated, this bitch is turning 3 years old and is now looking like the finished article. She has a pleasing outline, compact and sturdy, yet very feminine. Her head is typical, wedge-shaped with good proportions, and she has strength to the foreface along with a keen, dark eye. Her forelegs are well boned and straight, with tight, well-arched toes. Her body is well-developed, showing depth in the brisket and well-sprung ribs. She has pleasing hindquarters that stand parallel, accompanied by a high-set tail. Presented with a dense and abundant coat and moves with freedom and positivity. – BB & BOS
