Richmond Dog Show Society
First of all I’d like to thank Richmond Dog show Society for the invitation to judge at this excellent show and to all exhibitors for your entries and for accepting my decisions in such a sporting manner. I found the quality very good with quite a few well constructed and moving dogs and bitches. Temperaments were excellent throughout and indeed most were very well schooled, even the pups were exceptionally well behaved. Coats were in many cases on the blow but as long as it was double with the correct structure I didn’t penalise it too heavily. I found one incorrect mouth. Eye colour was generally good. On the day the yellows had the edge over the blacks, there were only a few chocolates in the classes.
Veteran (5, 1)Druggan’s Sh Ch A Sense Of Pleasure’s Get Lucky Short coupled 7 year old black male of excellent quality shown here in sparkling form. Super body, strong back, excellent coat and tail. Excellent width of thigh and well let down hock and not surprised he moved the way he did, effortless with super reach and drive. Masculine head, to be critical could have more length of foreface. Pattison’s Dylsonleigh Titan For Pattilands litterbrother to winner and not far behind, indeed it was a close decision but the winner carried less weight to advantage.
