An interesting entry. One observation is that again size is creeping up, some exhibits were way too big. I thought my winners excellent and was pleased to see my BOB shortlisted in a good group.
Puppy Dog. 1. Woolytop The Phezantplukka. Nice start to the day. Quality male who makes a nice overall picture. More mature than the second placed dog. Quality head with lovely topknot of desired texture. Good neck, pleasing shoulders, good front and feet. Correct underline. Good hindquarters which are well muscle. Moved well. Hope he doesn’t grow on as wouldn’t want him any bigger. 2. Sharnor Sultan Of Spica. Another nice type but not as mature as 1 and still quite raw. Pleasing head which is narrow and deep. Keen dark eye. Good ears. Correct length of neck into well placed shoulders. Pleasing topline. Just needs to drop into himself a little. Nice hind quarters and moved well. 3. Silverkinn French Fancy
Junior Dog. 1. Amifedele Hashtag Hipster. Very nice type. Took his time to settle but when he did, he performed very well. This young dog is very correct and sound. Pleasing head and expression. Good through the neck and shoulder with good length of neck and correct flat shoulder. Deep in brisket. Ideal topline and tail set. Tail nicely carried on the move. Pleasing hind quarters. In good coat and condition. Correct movement which is light and springy. Good reach. In A1 condition. 2. Mactufts Gentleman's Game. Another one who is good for size. Pleasing head and expression although prefer a slightly smaller ear. Decent front. Good bone and correct hare foot. Good depth of chest. Not the topline of the first dog, just falls off a fraction too steeply for me. 3. Devleigh True Blue
Post Graduate Dog. 1. Amifedele Hashtag Hipster. Winner of junior. 2. Devleigh Blue Thunder. Nice type of dog. Appeals for size. Lovely head which is narrow and nicely rounded. Correct top knot of good colour and texture. Super reach of neck into good shoulders. Correct from and good flat rib. He just falls a little too steeply at the croup for me which detracts from his overall outline. Good hind quarters which the correct moderate angulation. Good coat. Could carry a fraction less weight to enhance his features. Moved well. 3. Yarbach Bowling Broad.
Limit Dog. 1 Bowlingbrook Hummingbird. Very smart male who I liked from the initial go around and an easy winner of this class. A dog of correct size who is in no way overdone. Pleasing head with lovely eye and correctly set ears of ideal size and required texture. Lovely depth to his head which is unbroken with no stop, and which has a desired top knot of correct texture. Lovely through the neck and shoulder. Nice typical topline with nicely arched loin. Good depth through chest. Correct hind quarters. Moved typically and soundly. I liked him a lot and was pleased to award him the RCC. 2. armarblue Night Shadow. Quality dog with pleasing head and expression. Nicely made through. Pleasing topline and good hind quarters. Nice bone and feet although could be a fraction stronger in pastern. Moved very well. In good condition. 3. Rapharnis Mr Versace
Open Dog. This was a good open dog class. 1. Ch Conekesheved Out Of The Blue Jw. A new one to me and he immediately impressed in outline, balance, depth of colour and overall quality. Looking at his breeding it’s not surprising he appealed, as I have given his sire a CC and his dam a CC and BOB. The apple clearly hasn’t fallen that far from the tree. This blue dog has a super head, which is narrow, deep, and unbroken. Super dark eye and well filled. Good front and bone. Super length of neck into correct shoulder placement. Deep in chest. Correct flat rib. Topline non exaggerated. Correct rear angulation for the breed. Lovely jacket of correct texture. Moved typically. I liked this dog very much. CC and BOB. 2. Janmark Man In The Middle Jw. Bigger dog and different in style to 1. Another with a good head which is strong through and with a good eye. Nice sized ears of correct shape and texture. Neat dark eye. Good bone and correctly shaped foot. Nice neck into well placed shoulders. Good depth and correct breadth of chest. Correct rib. Nice hind quarters. Sympathetically handled. I just preferred the size and topline of 1. 3. Honeymist Firecracker
Veteran Dog. 1. Ch Woolytop The One And Only JW. Worthy champion. Won this class on his beautiful head and expression. Super through the neck and shoulder. Well ribbed and nice overall proportions. In super A1 condition. Moved well 2. Major Tufts At Mactufts Smart dog of good size and shape. Good head although mouth is starting to show some age. Good overall make and shape although just falls off in croup a little too sharply for me. Such as lovely coat and colour, one of the best jackets of the day. Moved well.
Special Beginners Dog. 1. Sarmarblue Night Shadow. Second in limit. 2. Little Bristle Charmer BelabrislFourth in limit.
Puppy Bitch. Lovely full class with some nice puppies. 1 Silverkinn Spice Girl. Sandy bitch of quality. This bitch is just very good to go over and was my ‘find’ of the day. Pleasing in head with a good deep narrow skull. Correct small eye of correct colour. Typical front. Won this class on her overall silhouette, her correct topline, overall proportions and size. Good rib. Ideal rear angulation. Moved very well on a loose lead. In the challenge she did enough to annexe the RCC.BP. Delighted to hear that she went on to win group 2 in the special beginners group. Well done. I hope with fair play she will continue her winning ways. I shall watch with interest. 2. Silverkinn Time For Tea Rose. Another promising puppy and an overall quality blue. When I got home, I discovered that this blue is litter sister to the winner and by a dog I have done well before. Unlucky to meet 1 in such good form. Lovely head and expression. Good neck and shoulder. Good front and good bone. Topline is neither overdone nor flat. Correct tail set and carriage. Moved typically and soundly. 3. Honeymist Tilted Halo
Junior Bitch. 1. Agnellino's Celtic Queen. Quality bitch. Appealed for her overall size and balance. Is good to handle and well made through. Pleasing narrow unbroken skull with adequate depth and strength. Good neck and shoulder. Good bone and correct pasterns. Desired flat rib. This bitch has a lovely unexaggerated topline. Good hindquarters. Nice on the move with a typical and sound action. 2. Silverkinn Time For Tea Rose. Second in Puppy. 3. Devleigh Papa Don't Preach
Post Graduate Bitch. 1. Mactufts Kindred Spirit. Nice blue bitch who appealed on size, symmetry, and overall style. Nice head and expression. Neat dark eye. Correct topknot. Good depth of chest and typical front assembly. Breaks a fraction in early in topline for me, correct underline. Nice hind quarters. Excellent jacket. Moved well. Well handled. 2. Durhamites Unzip Avamay. Larger bitch who was not in the best of her jackets today. Pleasing skull proportions and good eye and ear. Good bone. Feet a fraction flat for me. Nicely ribbed up. Good hindquarters. Moved ok.
Limit Bitch. This augurs well for the future. Two very young men who handled their charges well, well presented dogs, well presented handlers, and good sportsmanship. A pleasure to judge. 1. Raphelyans Miss Armani At Rapharni. Top size or a bitch but lots to like here Typical head with narrow unbroken skull which is deep through and strong yet still she is feminine. Nice body proportions. Pleasing underline and tuck up. Non exaggerated topline. Good hind angulation. Moved well. 2. Raphelyans Unzip To Roisins At Mactufts. Nice bitch of good size. Pleasing head. Good, well-shaped ears of nice texture and correct size. Good front. Decent bone and correct foot. Not quite the topline of 1 and needed to have a little more enthusiasm.
Open Bitch. Nice full class, headed by two quality bitches. class. 1. Janmark The Name Of The Game Jw Immediately took my eye as she is the correct size, of lovely colour, typical outline and well-schooled in her job. Very nice in head which is of correct breadth and of nice depth. Good dark eye. Correctly set ears of correct shape and thickness. Clean neck of decent length into good flat shoulder. Deep through the brisket. Correct underline. Pleasing topline. Nice hindquarters. In good coat and in good muscle tone. Moved well in all directions. I couldn’t deny her the CC which I was told moves her to the upper house. Congratulations. 2. Teresa Tcheria Sweet. I thought this bitch was quite beautiful. Stood she has an ideal shape and is of super depth of colour. Going over her you have a very typical head, good eye and lovely ears. Clean neck into good shoulders. Nice front and good at the elbow. Correct topline and nice underline with correct tuck up. Correct hind angulation. When she goes she is so nice on the move, but repeatedly put the brakes on. Would have pushed 1 harder if she had performed better. In the challenge for the RCC she again played her handler up. However, I think she is delightful and I am sure another day will be her day. 3. Janmark Je Ne Sais Pas Avec Mickleview JW
Special Beginners Bitch. 1. Silverkinn Spice Girl. Winner of Puppy.
