Alert expression, dark well-shaped eyes and responsive ears. Pleasing overall outline having balance and a compact body. True front. Would prefer little more stifle angle to complete the picture. Moved freely, a bit close behind and needing to settle in front action.

1st: 663 MIDDLETON, Mr Mrs Brian And Linda Graythor Broadway a 2½-year-old who is balanced in outline being compact in body and overall is nicely constructed. He has a attractive well-shaped head and an interested, alert expression which I preferred to 2nd. Satisfying in body proportions and pleasing in profile. True, nicely boned front with well-developed firm enough body. Free steady movement with the better rear action.

2nd: 656 BROWN, Miss Lydia Graythor Captain Hook litter brother to 1st and of similar merits in conformation. Another with a bright future. Pleasing head having dark eyes and erect ears giving an attentive expression although preferred head/expression of 1st. but just preferred his head and expression to that of 3rd. Standing, he presents a very satisfying breed typical appearance. Unfortinately he was unsettled on the move and tended to crab slightly.

He has an attractive, ideally shaped head with high set, alert, mobile and erect ears. Strong in neck and body with matching angulations front and rear. He is well boned with firm body substance and well-made forequarters of pleasing width. Close, profuse coat. Sound in conformation and free, steady movement which edged him to be awarded the Dog CC.

2nd: 654 BENNER, Mrs Helen & BENNER, Mr Nigel Graythor Loves The Luxor a nearly 5-year-old mature sturdy male who has a pleasing overall make and shape having desirable coat and condition. Well-proportioned head, strong and masculine, set well on a strong neck of medium length. Firm body with a pleasing spring and depth of chest. Moved out freely but was close in rear action. A good ‘honest’ male who possesses undeniable breed qualities. My Reserve Dog CC winner.

Very attractive head and expression, pleasing neck length and body and is so attractive in outline. She has all the basic structure and possesses great promise to develop into a top adult. Confident, free movement. Best Puppy in Breed.

2nd: 658 COWPER, Mrs J E & STOKES, Mrs Barbara Bowerhinton Bonny Beth At Rothenborg another well-made 8-month-old quality youngster. Litter sister to 1st and shares many of her merits. Standing she is impressive in appearance being of pleasing size, good proportions and balanced. Very attractive head and expression, true front, sturdy body and stable hindquarters. Let herself down on the move being unsettled both in front and rear action.

Compact firmly covered body with pleasing depth and spring of rib. Stands four-square on sound legs and feet. Carries her head confidently when moving effortlessly around the ring. My Bitch CC and Best of Breed winner.

Firm body substance, pleasing spring of rib and depth with a strong, short loin, firm top-line and strong, moderately angled hindquarters. Moved with a true in front but close and loose hocks in rear action.
