1ST    5221 - Ch/Aus Ch Crisnick Houdini (Mrs A & Mr S Ham) a well-made 7-year-old mature male of notable elegant shape and in commendable condition. Still looking in his prime. Pleasing head and expression. True parallel front, Good overall length of body with nicely sprung ribs. Firm in topline, graceful fallaway and strong nicely angled hindquarters of good width. Balanced in profile. Moved with a true, free, precise action. My reserve Dog CC winner.

1ST    5228 - Heart & Soul Jp Northern Dancer at Classicus (Imp Jpn) (Mrs M E Sanders Parker) a well boned and well bodied 7-month-old cream coloured quality youngster who oozes promise. Very much a rangy puppy having an attractive refined head and pleasing overall construction with all the basic structure and breed characteristics to develop into an exciting adult. One who has no obvious issues in conformation and who has true, good width movement. Best Dog Puppy

1ST    5235 - Yamadan Kn Aijaz Haalim (Imp Usa) (Dr M A Ulyatt) a shapely 11-month-old fawn, good sized male. Masculine, breed typical head of pleasing length and shape with dark eyes and well-set ears. Good length in neck set onto a body of proportional length and depth all compatible to the rest of him. At the ‘leggy’ stage of development and tending to appear narrow in front needing to strengthen. Free moving although tended to be close in action front and rear.

1ST    5220 - Jorjenjo Rafiq Al Khas (Mrs J Glaister) a nearly 3-year-old elegant cream male of graceful, muscular appearance. Well made, true front and forequarters with desirable fore-chest which I preferred to 2nd. Breed typical shapely head with dark eyes and pleasing expression. He has a balanced profile, good width, true front and nicely angled, firm hindquarters. Moved with true action in front and rear with particularly satisfying side gait.

 2ND    5222 - Ravensett Ashkan (Mrs A & Mr S Ham) a 3½-year-old shapely male who has a very attractive head and expression. Head set on a pleasing length neck; parallel front although needs to tighten. Proportional width across the chest, free and active movement but not as controlled in footfall compared to 1st.

1ST    5224 - Ch Classicus Odysseus at Ashahni (Mrs C E & Miss N Harding & Cowley) a very elegant 6-year-old mature male who has the most handsome breed typical head and expression. Stands ‘four-square’ over the ground presenting an imposing appearance with noble head carriage. True parallel front pleasing width across the chest and body development. Strong good width moderately angled hindquarters. Impressive purposeful movement with the best side gait of the males. My Dog CC winner.    2ND    5212 - Ch Classicus Azim for Bordercot (Mrs R Brady) a mature 7-year-old of similar shape and colour markings as 1st although slightly lighter in build. Another with an attractive head and expression which I preferred to 3rd. True in front with pleasing body depth and angulation in hindquarters. 1ST5218 - Ch Glenoak Lunah from Caryna (Mrs D & Miss S Garratt & Oakey) a super 9-year-old predominantly black, mature bitch. She presents a very elegant appearance. Lovely head set on a strong, good length neck flowing into a well made front and forequarters. Mature body possessing excellent depth and ribbing. Graceful in topline with strong, good width, stable hindquarters. Better mover of the class. My Reserve Bitch CC winner and Best Veteran in Breed.                                                                                2ND 5216 - Jazalle Ava (Lady R E, Ms A, Miss T & Mr M Dann, Ireson, Ferris & Cosentini) a very attractive 8¾-year-old red who has a pleasing overall profile shape, attractive head, dark eyes and expression. Tended to stand wide in front and would prefer more evident fore-chest and tighter elbows. Mature body and top line with tuck-up. In profile she has pleasing proportions and angulations. Light free movement.

1ST    5229 - Heart and Soul Jp Nishwa Classicus (Imp Jpn) (Mrs M E Sanders Parker) a 7-month-old cream bitch puppy who is litter sister to my dog puppy winner. She is impressive in conformation, and, still a puppy, she is elegant and I liked her clean graceful lines and balanced profile; Well boned, true parallel front of good width and excellent body cover. Lovely head and expression. Neck of good length. She has impressive make and shape with everything fitting together so seamlessly and providing the desirable foundation to go on and mature into a top Saluki. True movement, steady and free with plenty of confidence. Best Puppy in Breed and later Hound Puppy Group 2.

1ST    5236 - Safeera Kasaque Al Djiibaajah (Mr C M & Mrs H V Williams) a 9-month-old shaded red well grown bitch puppy. Feminine, typy head of good length and shape with dark, well-shaped eyes and nicely set ears. Strong in neck, set onto a body of good length and depth in proportion to the rest of her. Pleasing top line. True front with enough angulations front and rear. She has an elegant appearance. Free moving but would prefer more width in action.

1ST    5213 - Ravensett La Duquesa (Miss A Bryla) a 13-month-old shapely red bitch who has a feminine looking head set on a good length neck, rangy body and moderate rear angulation. Would prefer more lay-back and to be tighter in front especially on the move. Needs to mature to be at her best. Easy movement but needs more width and precise forward action.

Attractive refined head, strong neck, firm well-developed body and moderate, strong hindquarters. Looked to have the appearance of a running hound. Free positive movement.                                        

 2ND    5225 - Barleymoon Zala (Mrs C M Jowitt) a 2-year-old fawn bitch who has a pleasing youthful appearance and looks to have lots of promise to develop and mature. Attractive head and expression which I preferred to 3rd. Pleasing proportions and balance with moderate angulation front and rear. Moved well enough but a bit loose in front.

1ST    5223 - Classicus Florentia at Ashahni (Mrs C & Miss N Harding & Cowley) a very elegant 3¾-year-old attractively marked bitch who has a pleasing head both in shape and proportions. Head set on a strong neck into true front of pleasing width, with satisfactory depth and tight elbows. Graceful in topline and balanced in angulations front and rear. Free, steady movement although tending to be loose in front.

1ST    5230 - Ch Era Lilian Giliath Classicus (Imp Cze) JW (Mrs M & Mrs A Sanders Parker & Revay) an impressive 2-year-old cream who has a striking appearance. She has notable condition, breed qualities and admirable conformation from head to tail. Graceful and elegant in appearance with a very attractive refined head and expression which edged her over 2nd. Pleasing length in neck; true front and well-made forequarters with ideal width all through. Eye-catching in profile both standing and, on the move, particularly in side gait. She was true both in front and rear action coming and going with just enough width, extension and drive. Pleased to award her the Bitch CC and Best of Breed.

2ND    5217 - Ch Caryna Esperanza (Mrs D & Miss S Garratt & Oakey) a mature 6-year-old cream who is attractive in shape and look. She stands over the ground presenting a balanced appearance of pleasing proportions. She is of notable make and shape and oozes quality. Unfortunately, not as settled on the move today as I am sure she can be.
