Thank you to all the exhibitors who took the time to enter under me, it was a thoroughly enjoyable day, although I must apologise for the removal of the mats due to health and safety concerns from the venue which was incredibly disappointing. I did try to give all exhibitors the opportunity to show their dogs movement despite the floor. Huge thanks to my stewards who were wonderful and kept the ring running smoothly – it really makes the day all the more pleasurable when it runs like clockwork.
Overall the quality of dogs was good but a few offset ridges creeping in and colours in a few exhibits were on the very dark side of the standard. On the whole, mouths were correct and there were no kinks in tails.
PD (2 0) 1 Geeves Kiromol Knight of The Realm. 11 month wheaten dog, correct planes to head with good depth of muzzle, strong crested neck leading to correct front assembly with correct depth to brisket and tight in elbow, strong all through with good length of loin, strong topline, good turn of stifle with well defined musculature, stood on strong feet and although still a bit of a baby he moved well once settled. 2 Catharell Kinabula's Making Magick for Faahac, 9 month old red wheaten dog, preferred the depth and infill of 1. Had a good length of body with a strong topline and a good turn of stifle. Moved out.
JD (1 0) 1 Jolly Priorpark William Wallace for Clanbruachan. Stood alone but a worthy winner. 18 month red dog with a nice head and a kind expression. Good reach of neck sloping into a good lay of shoulder and depth of chest, strong in body and loin, strong topline, good turn of stifle, strong feet and moved well.
YD (1 0) 1 Clark-Maclean & Crossan Callmn's Jammy Dodger. Strong dark red dog of good size, with a nice heavy head, bit shy, strong in neck and body, good depth and length, nice turn of stifle, big strong feet, moved out really well.
ND (1 0) 1 Smith Leteela Locksmith. Handsome liver nose boy with beautiful pigmentation blending perfectly with his eye colour. Long, strong neck leading to a correct front with a good lay of shoulder, return of upper arm and depth to brisket, great length of body with a strong topline, strong bone all through. Just needs to body up more and with maturity that will come. Moves really well with drive and covered the ground with ease – wish the ring had been bigger to show this off.
PGD (3 0) 1 Mulholland & Cunningham Walamadengie Heart Throb. Handsome head of correct planes with good depth to muzzle, strong neck, nice front assembly with good infill, depth and tight in elbow, well ribbed back with correct loin, strong topline and croup, nicely angled turn of stifle, strong feet, moved well with drive. 2 Whiteside Jimanns Jackass. Lovely head, clean in neck and shoulder, good infill, depth and tight in elbow, well ribbed but just not the topline of 1, moved out OK but would like to see him move out with more enthusiasm.

Lovely red dog, strong crested neck, balanced fore and aft, well ribbed back carrying his strong topline, well handled. 2 Mitchelson Amahle Red Hot Zephyr at Voortrekker. Nice crest to neck and balanced all through, longer cast than 1, lovely feet and moved out well.
