Siberian Huskies-Judge Georgia Lappin Lawrence

This has always been my favourite show and it’s the second time I`ve judged here. Thanks to my stewards John & Bev who kept everything running so smoothly for me with this large entry.

So many level bites on show today, more than I`ve ever seen at any of my appointments. On the plus side there were very few tight tails, which used to be a big problem in the breed!

Sadly the ring had been re-turfed and had gaps almost all over. Some dogs and handlers coped better than others.

1st Aloustairs Silver Wish. (Snedden & Freeman)

6 month old raw pup, just as he should be at this age and enjoying his day. He showed plenty of character. Good dense coat, classic head & tall ears, set well.

2nd Aloustair Naughty or Nice (Spottiswoode) Litter brother to 1st and quite similar, again very raw and much yet to develop. His Brother just pipped him on movement on the day.

1st Furnesfjordens First Ragnar for Inneska (McInnes).

Black, very nicely made puppy. His shoulder markings give the wrong impression as he is moderately angulated, sound fore and aft and moves well. Lovely head and expession, nice tall close set ears. BPD

2nd Elleonia Take A Chance On Me (Seward)

Grey 9 months old and a lot to like although I preferred the head on 1st. Moderate bone and legs paralel. He moved ok.

2nd Inukshuk I Prefer Au Revoir (Houston)

Grey pup, needs just a little more schooling to get the best from him. Lovely dense coat. Nice expression and ears carried well.

1st Inukshuk My Way Ward Son (Houston)

Grey pup very similar to his litter brother in previous class but bigger, again needs more schooling but much to like about him. Good double coat,nice head and tail carried well on the move.

Silver 9 months puppy. Good coat well presented, and lovely expressive face. Quite animated which is to be expected at his age. Moved ok and tail carried well.

1st Mydisa Hielan Wee Belter (Wynne)

Dark Grey, good head with nice tall ears. Needing to body up. Medium bone and good coat. Moved ok

Very nice piebald, medium bone and built, good angles, lovely coat in good condition, moved well with animation.

2nd Charmedkelz Fozzie Bear (Bolsover)

Bigger dog, Red. Nice head with tall ears, keen expression. Good front end just needing to strenghen behind. Lovely coat.

1st Amical Naxxar (McArthur, McKenzie & Rees)

Black dog, star of the day, beautifully presented and such an easy floating mover, with the reach and drive many desire in a working breed. Expressive head and oblique set eyes. Medium bone and oval feet so lacking in the breed. CC & BOB. Happy but not surprised he caught the eye of the group judge, Group 1st

2nd Podricals The Gambler by Glenbranter (Carmichael)

Silver boy with medium bone and build all round. Love his head and keen expression, well presented and handled. Just needs more maturity to make an impact.

1st Ch Pelenrise Don’t Stop Moving (Taylor & Morris)

Black, more mature dog, sire of CC winner , same free movement and showmanship but heavier in body. So sound, parallel fore and aft. Beautifully presented.

2nd Azgard Monticristo At Ashtrax (Snelson)

Very nice Black Pied dog with good substance, shorter closer coat than first. In lovely body condition. Cheeky expression with “Zorro” face mask. Just preferred the hind drive of 1st

Super red boy I have long admired. coming up for 9yrs he is in fine condition. Beautifull plush coat, moving so well and in tune with handler. I just preferred the overall proportions of the CC winner. RCC & BVIB

2nd Rajaranique Dominique (Houston)

One I have always liked. Taller grey boy who has good overall proportions and typical head with soft expression. medium bone for his size and sound mover,. lacking in coat condition today.

1st Gercekask Candy Delight (Waterfield & Sutton)

8 months. Pretty baby, enjoying her day. Thick coated girl making her appear bigger. Well proportioned, Medium bone and oval feet.

2nd Aloustair Holly Jolly (Lockhart)

6 months raw baby, shorter coat type, good proportions, lovely expressive head, just a bit distracted today.

1st Elleonia Perfect Storm at Snowdragon (Caudy)

10 months Silver girl well balanced with good angulation. Correct coat, medium bone and oval feet. Beautiful head still developing of course. Never put a foot wrong. Loved her. Will be interesting to see how she finishes. BPB, BPIB & RCC

2nd Elleonia Wish Upon A Star ( Seward)

10 months Litter sister to 1st. Black girl with similar attributes, just not as outgoing at the moment. Good length to height and medium bone. Certainly a good litter.

Raw yearling nice head, tall ears. A bit out of condition but will improve with maturity, just needs time.

Very nice grey girl, lighter built than 1st, in very good condition, pretty head. good angles, just needs to tighten up in rear end.

Wolf grey bitch, exellent coat. Good head shape and gentle expression, nicely angulated. Medium bone and good oval feet.

2nd Arctictreks Goldilocks at Snowdragon (Caudy)

Red bitch, good overall proportions, moved well, sadly out of coat and condition today.

3rd Tsaritsa`s Atlanta (Howarth & Phillips)

5 years grey girl, typey and sound, good double coat, lovely head and expression, medium bone, good mover although a bit reserved today.

2nd Podricals Dream Baby (Casola)

Pretty silver grey beautifully presented. All in propotion to her size. Good head with gentle expression. Medium bone and good feet. The surface could have held her back.

4 years grey girl, pretty head, very sound and typey. Medium bone and overall good proportions. Unsettled and perhaps not coping well with the surface condition.

2nd Ch Winter Melody Triple Trouble at Amical (Rees)

Mature black girl, dam of my DCC, lovely coat well presented. Beautiful head and expression, moved ok , good proportions and excellent feet, just a bit too much body on the day.

Red bitch, beautiful head and expression, super coat in lovely condition. Medium bone and correct feet, unsettled and carrying a bit extra weight today.

Silver bitch, another with a lovely head and expression. Correct feet and bone for her size, also carrying extra weight today.
