1st Blackburn-Bennett’s - Ch Stargang Scandalous, Dachshund (Min Smooth-Haired) – 3 ½ yr old bitch that took my eye as soon as she walked in the ring, very smart and feminine, having a gorgeous head with correct eye shape and colour, lovely front & chest, great topline which she kept on the move. Loved her strongly built and angulated hindquarters.

2nd Larkin’s Asharaa Stars In Your Eyes – Rhodesian Ridgeback – 4 yr old bitch pleasing size and outline. Adequate bone, feminine girl with lots to appreciate. Clean neck and good shoulders. Good tight feet, nice body and outline, sound mover.

AV UTIL/TOY/WORK/PAST

Open (23, 11 a)

1st Roberts’ Ch Joybull Mister Bossman, Bullmastiff – Powerful brindle dog having a stunning wide and square head with a strong stop that demands your attention, correct mouth, well-arched and muscular neck which creates a perfect outline. Wide chest and deep brisket, powerful, straight forelegs, well boned and set wide apart, short back, impressively strong hind quarters and a correct tail set. Moved out in a powerful trust from behind, showing off his character and demanding presence.

2nd Barnett & Carter’s Alamiks Perfect Illusion ShCEx, Lhasa Apso – gorgeous bitch which presents a perfect outline from her head to her tail set. Prettiest of heads with correct proportions, so appealing, small dark eye, well arched neck and an excellent front assembly, level top line, good quarters, unexaggerated in every way but so appealing. On the move she caught my eye with her true jaunty style.
