DALMATIANS

I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge Dalmatians at their show. It was a lovely day and the beautiful weather was a bonus. I would also like to thank my very efficient stewards, Gavin Argyle and Mitzi Morrison for their hard work keeping the ring running smoothly. Finally, I thank the exhibitors for allowing me to go over their quality exhibits. The overall movement was very good. However I think the hot weather did affect some exhibits.

1 Green & Sears, Alphadal Aint Misbehaving At Judally JW, lovely liver dog of correct height. Nice head with kind expression. Nicely arched neck flowing into correct front. Good topline which he kept on the move. Good depth of rib. Good bend of stifle and well developed second thigh which provides his lovely movement. RCC

1 Croft & Richardson Mapplewell Rolex With Koroyza, liver with nice head and expression, correct amber eye. Balanced dog with nice front and good round bone. Good body and depth of brisket, good bend of stifle and nice tail carriage. Won this class on his sound movement.

2 Carrick’s Tessmene Paddy Whack, Lovely head and neck. Nice front and good body. Such a baby, movement should settle as he matures.

1 Alexander’s Offordale Belvedere, liver good head with amber eye and good ear carriage. Nice front, good depth of brisket and good bend of stifle. Good bone and lovely cat feet. Good topline and tail set. Moved well with drive. BPD

1 Howard-Riddle & Corcoran Shydally Star Gazer, nice head with dark eye, good ear placement. Well balanced with good neck and front with good depth of brisket and bend of stifle. moved well with drive.

1 Hopkin’s Joubello Fastlove, black with a lovely front, good body and topline which he kept on the move. Lovely tight feet. Good bend of stifle. Moved well with purpose.

1 Davies Hafwenna King John at Teghafren, liver. Nice head with good ear carriage. Lovely size with good front, depth of brisket and bend of stifle. Good tail set. Moved with drive.

Hobbs & Whiting Joubello Freedom With Rapanooey black with nice head and good dark eye. Good body and topline with good bend of stifle. Not moving his best today.

1 Wright Millbelle Thunderfire JW, liver with lovely head and expression. Nice amber eye and good ear carriage. Lovely neck flowing to his good front. Good spring and depth of rib, great bend of stifle. Moved round the ring effortlessly showing both grace and power. Moved with dive. In great condition. Delighted to award him the CC.

2 Cuthbertson Kalsidoni Blue Gemstone JW, lovely black with nice head and lovely dark eye.

Good front and body, lovely strong hind quarters with good bend of stifle. Moved well.

3 Howard Decoda’s Crackerjack JW

1 Richardson, Ch Mapplewell Pocket Rocket, black with nice head and expression. Good bone and substance, lovely front, good rib with good depth and great bend of stifle. Moved well.

2 Moate, Sundowndal Trijonkuro, black of similar type. Nice head with nice dark eye. Nice front, good depth of brisket and good rear angulation. Moved well.

3 Norgrove, Sassydals Flugel Horn

1 Burke, Hafwenna The Red Viper At Dintradot, Lovely head with nice dark eye and good ear carriage. Good spring of rib and depth. Good rear angulation. Moved well to win the class.

2 Claesen, Dalstorm Just Giving, good depth and spring of rib. Not moving his best today.

1 Gardner,Ch Dvojica Chilli Chutney For Wrendragge JW., liver I have always liked. Still in great condition and enjoying her day out. Best of heads, good front, depth and spring of rib and good bend of stifle. Moved well.

2 Carrick, Tessmene Sweet Violet, black with nice head. Good front, topline and rear angulation. Moved well.

2 Davies Maddidalli True Loves Kiss, Another lovely bitch. Black with nice head and dark eye. Lovely neck and correct front. Good turn of stifle. Moved well.

2 Neal, Tolkain Watseka, black with nice head and dark eye. Lovely front and tight feet. Good tail carriage. Moved well.

1 Howard, Decoda’s Treasure Chest, black of nice size. Good head and ear carriage. Lovely tight feet. Won this class on movement.

2 Read & Read, Makificate Wymondham Queen, black with nice head and neck. Good front. Movement not as positive as one.

1 Quayle, Cubalibre Star Attraction JW, liver with pleasing head and neck. Good front, well bodied and good bend of stifle. Moved with drive.

2 Ward, Louabidora Show Stopper at Frankish, black of similar quality. Lovely head and neck. Correct front with good bone. Good bend of stifle. Just preferred the drive of one on the day.

2 Pattington & Blomfield Hafwenna Honey Pie, liver with nice head and amber eye. Nice front and depth of rib. Good rear angulation. Moved well.

3 Healey, Healey & Wheaton, Hebemor Careless Whisper

1 Hurst & Hurst, Dvojica firefly for Finnidal, black with nice head and neck. Nicely balanced with good tail carriage and lovely tight feet. Good rear angulation. Moved with drive to win the class.

2 Neal, Tolkain Morning Star, black with nice head and expression with good dark eye. Good rear angulation and nice feet. Moved well. Not much between these two.

1 Finlay, Dvojica Excuse My French At Dalfin JW, Quality black with great ring presence. Beautiful feminine head, dark eye and lovely expression. Lovely arched neck. Beautifully balanced with lovely front and good depth and spring of rib. Good topline, strong loin and good rear angulation. Lovely tight feet. Moved with purpose with good reach and strong driving action. Had no hesitation in awarding her CC and BOB.

2 Richardson, Ch Mapplewell Limited Edition, black with lovely feminine head and good expression. Good reach of neck, nice front and good depth and spring of rib. Moved well.
