Veteran Dog (1)

1. Sh.Ch. Hernwood Achilles At Ettrick JW

Strong, masculine dog, impressive for his type and proportions. Strong masculine head with slightly rounded skull, well set ears. Lovely expression. Marked stop, parallel head planes, I would not want any more lips than this. Strong neck, well set into shoulders. Standing he tends to give away somewhat in his topline, but he firms up completely on the move. Balanced angulation both ends. Prefer a more flat bone. He moved very well indeed from all angles. In a rich coat, excellent colour. Best Veteran.

Minor Puppy Dog (2)

1. Hernwood Master Blaster

Seven months old, he has come a long way and especially for this slow maturing breed. Slightly leggy at this time, but generally very well made. Masculine head with good length and excellent expression. Somewhat puppyish in his skull. Long neck, well set into shoulders, very good forechest. Short and firm topline. I would prefer his tail slightly higher set. Well angulated behind. Brilliant colour with very dark tan in all the right places. He is a sound and active mover.

2. Rhiwgerrig Caractacus By Melview

Another seven months old puppy, not nearly as mature, but of very pleasing shape and outline. Another with a masculine head which looks Somewhat large compared to the rest of him at this time. Moderate neck. Very good return of upper arm. Short and firm topline with a correct slight rise over his topline. Good tailset. Moderately angulated behind. Another with lovely colour and excellent coat texture, straight, if not that much of it. Another enthusiastic and energetic mover, moving very well from the side and from behind.

Puppy Dog (2)

1. Glenquin Hurricane Bryerdale

Remarkably mature dog who truly fills the eye. He is strong and masculine and very well proportioned, he made a most impressive overall appearance. Very typical, masculine head , well proportioned and with parallel head planes. Expression not his fortune. Well set and carried ears. Strong neck, excellent forechest and return of upper arm. Excellent topline, strong and with a very slight arch over loin. Correctly angulated behind. Very good tailset. He is an outstanding mover, especially from the side. In a rich coat with pleasing colour. Definitely a champion in the making. Best Puppy

2. Hernwood Master Blaster

Junior Dog (4)

1. Amscot Angels And Demons

Not a big dog, but with very attractive type and quality. I would not mind him a little more up on his legs. Attractive head with excellent chiselling. Well set neck into shoulder. Firm, short topline, well set and carried tail. In a a very good coat and lovely colour. A sound, functional mover from all angles. One for the near future.

2. Laurelhach Bugatti At Siochail

Very well balanced dog with ideal proportions. Not quite the head quality of the winner not as strong in his character. Excellent outline, including length of leg, length and shape of body. Good coat quality, if a little lacking in lustre today. He is a pleasing, balanced mover from all angles.

3. Gailiech Wirnpa

Post Graduate Dog (2)

1. Beechlake The Storyteller Of Finnsfolk

A well proportioned dog with an attractive outline, not big, but within the standard. He has a masculine head of moderate length, well set ears. Medium neck, again well set. Moderate and balanced angulation both ends. Deep and capacious body. A pleasing topline, even if he sometimes makes a little too much arch of loin. Good tailset. Very good coat quality. A strong and sound mover, especially from the side, very much in synch with his handler.

2. Caradilis Jumping Jack

A longer dog with a pleasing head and well set ears. Good neck into shoulder. He could put more weight on his front legs. Well developed in his depth of chest. His topline could be somewhat firmer and he needs more angulation behind. In a lovely coat. Tended to side track in movement.

Limit Dog (3,1)

1. Gailiech Ngalyod

A nicely balanced dog with very pleasing proportions. Big enough. He has a well proportioned head, but a swelling in front of his stop does not enhance his expression. Moderate neck and front angulation. Excellent topline with slight arch of loin and a well set tail. Moderate angulation behind. Very good coat structure and colour, deep tan. He moved well from the side, but tended to sidetrack.

2. When I Was Your Man Black Lofty

A very mature dog, strong and masculine. He could do with less weight making him look rather heavy. He is also longer cast than what I prefer. Strong, masculine head. Moderate, balanced angulation both ends. Could be firmer in his topline. Excellent coat and colour. Quite a sound mover, if somewhat heavy on the move.

Open Dog (6)

1. Int.Ch. Sh.Ch. Am.Ch. Carnoustie Let The Game Begin

A most impressive dog, very well proportioned, combining being masculine and strong with quality and without lumber. Typical, masculine head, slightly rounded skull, correct slightly shorter muzzle. Strong neck with a nape well set into shoulder. Strong topline, well set tail. Well angulated both ends. His coat structure is good, but could be straighter to be very critical. A very sound and athletic mover from any angle. Reasonable tailset, if not his best feature. An outstanding representative of his breed and sex. CC.

2. Sh.Ch. Amscot Air Apparent

Another lovely dog, very well proportioned and making an impressive outline, but looking younger and not as mature as the winner. Another with an outstanding head, excellent chiselling and lovely expression. Long and elegant neck, well set. Excellent body proportions. Well set and carried tail. Balanced angulation both ends. A very impressive mover as well. Excellent coat and colour. He pushed the winner all the way. ResCC.

3. Sh.Ch. Hernwood The Botanist JW Shcex Osw

Veteran Bitch (4,1)

1. Melview Phoenix

Quality bitch, very feminine, in excellent condition for her seven years old and totally defying the fact that she is a veteran. Lovely head and melting expression. Well set and carried ears. Very good neck in shoulder. Moderate, balanced angulation both ends. Typical topline with a slight arch of loin, well set and carried tail. Very moderate amount of bone which she gets away with being a bitch. She is effortless and very light on her feet on the moved. Sound coming and going. ResCC.

2. Lachmhor Sincerely Yours At Barrabrae

At nine years old, this bitch has very pleasing proportions. Not the head of the winner nor the neck. But she has balanced angulation both ends and a well set tail. She truly enjoyed her day out, very lively and happy on the move, moving out well from the side, toing in in front. A bit lacking in shine of coat today.

3. Benbuie Rose Quartz With Killizlot

Minor Puppy Bitch (2)

1. Hernwood Superstition

Seven months old, feminine bitch with a pleasing balance. Very feminine head, could gain some more strength with maturity. Long neck, rather sharply set. Very good topline, firm and with a slight arch of loin. Well set tail, I would prefer it straighter. Balanced angulation behind. Enough body for her age. She looked by far her best in movement as she carried herself proudly and was very coordinated in her movement. Very good coat and colour for her age.

2. Ronaldsbill Mystical Fire

A tall, rather leggy bitch who now needs to settle into her angulation, especially in front. Another with a feminine, refined head, parallel head planes, but rather long in muzzle, well set ears. Long neck. Firm topline, a bit angular in her body shape at this time. Pleasing coat quality and colour. Moved medium well, needing to settle.

Puppy Bitch (2)

1. Glenquin Phantom

At twelve months old, this bitch is quite mature for her age and has excellent body proportions. Strong head, I would prefer more parallel planes. Medium neck. Firm topline with slight arch of loin and very collected. Excellent coat quality and very good colours. Well set tail. Moved medium well, but retained her balance and shape on the move.

2. Hernwood Superstition

Junior Bitch (6,2)

1. Xclusiv Pour Dulmaur Belfleur Du Roux-Miroir

An outstanding bitch on the move, you cannot move any better than this from the side, truly impressive. She is feminine and well proportioned. Typical head and expression. Medium neck and front angulation and needs to develop in forechest. Strong topline, with an arch of loin, well angulated behind. She looks somewhat anonymous when standing, but when she moved from the side and from behind she is anything but anonymous. Not in optimal coat on the day.

2. Kilnrae Back To The Future JW

This bitch at almost eighteen months is more attractive standing and drew my eye. On the stack she would have won the class. She has a classical head with lovely eyes, well set and carried ears. Firm topline, well set tail. Only reasonably angulated in front. Attractive head and expression, well proportioned. Pleasing neck into shoulder Reasonable angulation in front. Firm topline, well angulated behind. A kink to her tail is less than ideal. A nice and easy mover. Very good colour and pleasing coat. Quite a pleasing mover, but not up to the winner.

3. Caradilis Lon Dubh

Post Graduate Bitch (8)

1. Xclusiv Pour Dulmaur Belfleur Du Roux-Miroir Well pr

2. Benbuie Shoshone At Malocomi

A well balanced, feminine bitch. She has an attractive outline. Well proportioned feminine head. Moderate, balanced angulation both ends and a pleasing topline. Still not at her very best.

3. Balnakeil Creag Rainich JW

Limit Bitch (3)

1. Caradilis Sparks Will Fly JW

A strong bitch, still feminine. She has an attractive head with excellent expression. Strong neck, well set. Well angulated both ends. Could be stronger in her topline standing, but firmed up completely on the move. Deep and capacious chest. A very good mover from all angles.

2. Flaxheath Cover Girl At Glenmaurangi JW

Eye-catching bitch, but longer and racier in her outline. Typical head, but I would not want a longer muzzle, lovely expression. Excellent ears. Long neck, well set into shoulder. Firm topline. Well angulated behind. Another easy and sound mover. Particularly beautiful coat of optimal structure.

3. Benbuie True Colours At Malocomi

Open Bitch (4)

1. Sh.Ch. Hernwood Gin Fizz JW

What a stunningly beautiful bitch this is. She is strong and still delightfully feminine and teeming with quality. Lovely head and expression from her well-shaped dark eyes. Excellent ears, well set and carried. Excellent neck, well set into shoulder. Lovely forechest. Typical topline, strong and firm with a slight arch of loin. Well set tail. Well angulated behind. She moved like a million dollars, extraordinarily athletic and sound from all angles.Truly a top representative of her breed and sex. CC & BOB.

2. Sh. Glenquin Phoenix

Another very attractive bitch, well proportioned and feminine. Another with a lovely head and expression. Good neck. Short coupled body with a firm topline and a slight arch of loin, well set tail. Not quite the hindquarters of the winner and could lose a bit of weight. Plenty of coat, I would not mind some less. Sound, functional mover.

3. Sh.Ch. Bryerdale Qangeroo Shcex
