Puppy Dog (1,0)

1 Watson & Kenna’s Cynetkoy Charlie Brown. 10 month old male with a masculine head and short muzzle. Good length of ears, set on just below level of the eye. He has a decent length of neck and ok front assembly but would benefit from more chest and a slightly better upper arm. Ribs of good length and short loin. Short hocks which are part of a moderate rear. Thick, short tail but would prefer it set slightly higher. Great coat texture. He’s young so time is on his side. A happy boy! BP

Post Grad Dog (2,0)

1 Osbourne’s Beaujons Wayne Sleep with Braego. Not long out of Junior with ok proportions but would like a fraction more leg. Good head with a slightly domed skull and short muzzle. Small ears set on well. Neck of good length leading to good shoulders and front. Deep chest with ribs reaching to elbow. Uses his well angulated rear to move powerfully around the ring. Short tail set on well. Carrying a little bit of weight today but overall a nice youngster. Super coat texture.

2 Fairhurst’s Valefell Savannah Journey. Three year old who is very masculine. He has a good head although slightly longer in foreface than ideal and with light eye. Slightly longer cast than 1. Decent front and rear angles. Good tail but carries it high on the move. Coat of good texture.

Limit Dog (3,0)

1 Bartley’s Erylan Poseidon De La Mer JW. A dog I have met before when he was just a baby, but now at two years old he is maturing well and pleased to see he’s still got that cheeky attitude. Attractive outline with a super masculine head accompanied with short ears which are set correctly. Slightly domed skull. Neck of pleasing length which lead onto decent shoulders but perhaps would like them fractionally better to enable him to reach slightly more when moving. Solid topline which he carried well at all times, whilst using his well angulated rear and his short, powerful hocks, to cover the ground well. Super short and thick tail carried marginally higher than ideal. So well presented retaining that rustic look with excellent coat texture. BD & BOB.

2 Guernari & Dane’s Cynetkoy Tinker Tailor. Three year old male and another I’ve met before who has most certainly matured well into a very masculine hound with super substance. On the longer side in proportions compared to 1. Good head with a short muzzle being slightly shorter than occiput to stop, finishing off with a super big, black nose and wide nostrils. Prominent chest with deep ribs. Front ok but would like a better upper arm. Excels in his rear which he uses so well on the move although his front is slightly wide when coming towards you. Super short, thick tail. One of the best coats of the day and well presented.

Open Dog (2,0)

1 Watson & Kenna’s Cynetkoy Heihei. Coming up 2 year old. Another masculine male with good proportions and a super coat. He has a well proportioned head with good ears, dark eye and nose. Good angles in the front and rear and has a super chest. Deep ribs. Good topline although falls away slightly at the croup. Another with a short and thick tail. Just needs a little more confidence in the ring. Won this class on type.

2 Bartley’s Erylan Loki Maitre Du Mal VW. Now a Veteran but certainly doesn’t act his age. Good head with a short muzzle and super ears. He has a good outline with correct proportions. Ok front but would prefer a better shoulder. Strong topline leading to a good tail. Moderately angled rear which he uses well on the move. Good coat which was well presented in a rustic manner.

Veteran Dog (2,0)

1 Bartley’s Erylan Zeus Roi Des Dieux ShCEx. 7 year old male with good proportions. On the bigger end of the scale but still very PBGV. Strong head and a short muzzle with small ears and dark eyes and nose. Front is ok but would prefer better angles to balance with his well angulated rear and short hocks. He has a pleasing outline and a good tail. Coat is ok but still well presented in a rustic style. The sire of the BOB winner and I can see similar attributes, but he didn’t quite have the forward movement today so had to give way to his son. RBD & BV.

2 Moore’s Afterglow Dough Ble Impact. Coming up to 9 this dog still enjoys his day out. He is from a smaller and slightly longer mould than 1 but still retains a good type. Masculine head with a slightly rounded skull and short muzzle. Good ears. Would prefer a longer neck. Moderately angled front and rear. Strong topline and a good thick tail. Moved with purpose and used his voice freely going around. Super harsh coat presented well.

1 Fairhurst & McAulay’s Erylan Passiflore. A feminine 15 month old. She has a well proportioned head and little ears that were set on well. Pleasing length of neck which led onto a decent front although to be critical I would have preferred a better upper arm. Level topline. Good length of back and leg length giving her nice proportions. She has a well angulated rear which she used well on the move. Just needs time to mature. Good coat. BB

2 Fairhurst’s Erylan Fleur. Littermate to 1. Good overall shape and many of the same comments apply as her sister, although she is lacking in undercoat. Texture is ok. Very sweet expression and certainly showed her naughty side today.

Post Grad Bitch (1,0)

1 Bishop’s Jamar Miss Skylar. Nice size to this 3 year old bitch. Good head with small ears. Moderately angulated front and rear but would like a better shoulder. She has a good length of neck. Tail is of good length and thickness although tail set could be better. Good coat.

Limit Bitch (2,0)

1 Townsend’s Overbecks Esme Shelby at Roxastan. A very feminine 2 year old and I appreciated her size, but would prefer her to be a little shorter in length. A very nice head with those short features the breed requires. Neck could be fractionally longer. Moderately angled and she moved well around the ring. Well presented with the rustic look. Won this class on type. RBB

2 Bishop’s Jamar Ina The Countessa. Coming up 7 year old. Out of a larger mould than 1. Decent head with small ears and a good reach of neck. Good depth of rib. She moved ok but dropped her topline from time to time. Tail slightly longer than ideal but it has thickness. Coat needs some attention.

1 Moore’s Probert Calypso. Very nice type and size to this 2 year old. She has a wonderful expression with dark eyes, accompanied with short ears which are set on well, but she could have a fraction more strength to her underjaw. Good length of neck. Moderately angulated in the front but would prefer a better upper arm. Super short tail. Good coat and presented well. Moved at the correct pace for her size. BSB
