Puppy Dog (1,0)

1 Collier’s Jayanel Alfabeti Spageti. An 11 month old youngster full of type and masculinity with decent proportions, although currently on the ‘leggier’ side. He has a noble head piece with excellent ears, mouth, and eyes. Strong neck leading into a good front assembly, matched well with his rear angulation. Good depth of rib. Tail of good length and carried well. On the move he has good drive although front is a little loose at present. Lovely puppy, handled and presented well with the required coat texture. Best Puppy but bigger awards to come for this lad I’m sure.

Junior Dog (1,0)

1 O’Day’s Rocky Succession Of Baron At Madifrey (Imp Pol). Just into Junior. Best head of the day with the required domed skull and slightly roman nose with a muzzle that is longer than stop to occiput. Black nose. Super ear set and length. He has a good length of neck which leads onto a decent front although I would like a fraction more upper arm. Ribs reach to elbow. Short loin. Tail is of good length and set on well. Good proportions. Would prefer slightly more angles to his rear to give him a bit more drive but he’s true coming and going. Great coat and presented in a rustic manner. Will watch him grow with interest.

Limit Dog (1,0)

1 Marshall’s Soufriere Paserelle Bateau. Coming up 4 year old dog with a noble head, prominent occiput, and slightly narrow back skull, with good ears set on well. Slightly longer cast than the youngsters but still in proportion. Moderate angles. Another with a good tail. Coat could be better. Moved ok but slightly close behind. Super temperament!

1 Makey’s Multi Ch Gairside Good Lord JW ShCM ShCEx CW19 VW. At 10 years old this boy certainly gives the youngsters a run for their money with his attractive outline and proportions. He has a typical headpiece, carried proudly on the move. Long and strong neck leading to good shoulders and elbows sit tight to the body. He falls away slightly behind the withers to be critical but still holds a firm topline. Prominent forechest and ribs reach to elbow. Moderately angulated in the rear but uses it so well on the move in balance with his front with that typical elastic characteristic. Coat of good texture and presented well. Best Dog, Best of Breed & Best Veteran.

2 Bailey & Yates’ Ch/Ir Ch Tarmachan Ice Cool VW. Another lad who doesn’t show his age. 8 years old and of different type to 1 but still has desirable features. Lovely noble head with domed skull. Would prefer a darker eye. Ears of good length set on low. A little shorter in neck but it does lead to a solid topline which he held at all times. Good tail set on well and carried proudly. Deep chest and strong, well muscled loin. Moderately angulated in the rear with good feet. Moves with drive and presented in a good jacket. Reserve Best Dog.

Minor Puppy Bitch (1,0)

1 Marshall’s Claela Laughter Is Timeless with Soufriere. An 8 month old full of naughtiness and enjoying her day out. She has a good head with good proportions. Would like a better eye. Good length of neck. Shoulder could be slightly better laid back. Decent proportions and good length of tail, set on well. On the move, when settled, she went well but slightly wide coming towards which hopefully will firm up with maturity. There is evidence of a good coat coming through.

Post Grad Bitch (2,1)

1 O’Day’s Tarmachan Toscanello. Coming up two year old ultra feminine bitch. Another at a ‘leggier’ stage but hopefully with time and maturity she will balance out in proportions. Noble head with a roman nose and domed skull, with low set ears of good length, reaching beyond her dark nose, and her eyes give a wonderful expression. Good reach of neck leading onto a good front with a prominent forechest. Short loin and moderately angulated rear. Good coat and presented in a rustic manner. Unfortunately today she didn’t quite feel like moving as well as I’m sure she could but I could see enough to give her Reserve Best Bitch.

Open Bitch (3,1)

1 Bailey & Yates’ Wilmit Mirabelle for Bonevon. A bitch I have judged before as a puppy and now at over two years old she has matured well. Super feminine headpiece with an intelligent expression. Good length of muzzle with a defined stop and a domed skull with well developed occiput. Ears set on well and of pleasing length. Neck of good length. Moderate angles front and rear with ribs reaching to elbow although would prefer a little more upper arm and more prominent chest. Topline is kept both standing and on the move and leads to a well set tail which is thicker at the base. Coat is well presented with a harsh texture. She moves with purpose and drive. Best Bitch.

2 Marshall’s Soufriere One Vision JW. 7 year old, slightly longer in body than 1. She has a lovely head of good proportions with good ears, set on well. Pleasing angles with a deep chest. Moves well but would prefer a slightly tidier rear as she could be a bit close behind. Lovely type all through.

Veteran Bitch (2,1)

1 Marshall’s Silvamoon Saffron at Soufriere JW. Approaching 11 years old but not letting age stop her enjoying her day. She has a typical head with lovely ears of good length and set on well. Good length of neck leading to a good front assembly with elbows sitting close to body. Lovely rear angles which she uses well on the move. Another with a good tail. Coat not at its best but still some texture remains. A lovely Veteran.
