1ST 1886 - Sh Ch Deringwood English Oak (Mr M B & Mrs R Macdonald)

Black male of medium size presented an impressive outline in profile. His head long and well moulded. Shoulders are well positioned, legs well boned and he has neat feet. Liked his excellent ribbing, more compact loin. Free positive action in profile and moving on a long stride. Tail well set and carried. Shown in A1 condition, belying his age. RCC

2ND 1916 - Seaheart Crian at Gloi JW (Miss & Dr L Smitherman & Roberts)

Medium sized and I liked his head shape, well moulded, pleasing eye colour. Firm in topline, tail well set and carried. Balanced body, good ribbing and shown in excellent muscletone. Moved positively from the rear, could have been more precise in front action.

2ND 1913 - Vynesbrook Hobson's Choice (Mrs H Smith)

Open Dog (8, 2abs)

1ST 1926 - Sh Ch Lizzlog Buzz Lightyear (Mrs L Walker)

A good class, perhaps the strongest of the day. I felt this dog was a comfortable winner.

Of medium size, totally unexaggerated, masculine head and eye with an intelligent expression. Stands on well boned legs and with excellent feet, firm level topline and tail straight and well set on. Strong quarters which he uses to advantage on the move with an excellent action especially in profile. Shown in immaculate body and condition and shown to advantage. DCC

2ND 1929 - Gloi Dubh Just One Look ShCEx (Ms E J & Dr L Walker & Roberts)

Pleasing dog well balanced and of medium sized, moves with a very good profile action holding a firm topline, tail perhaps a little low set.  Well-made black dog, a little deep in stop and not my ideal expression, excellent bone and feet, firm body, a little longer in loin but shown in excellent condition. Wide and well angulated hindquarters, tail well set and carried and moving very well in all directions, not in his best bib and jacket here.

Veteran Bitch (5, 3abs)

Compact, feminine bitch of appealing type. Liked her head and eye shape, dark expressive eyes and an intelligent expression. Compact body, well ribbed back, firm level topline, sound profile movement, could be a little tidier in rear movement. Shown in good condition.

2ND 1911 - Rainesgift Royal Mint I Coedylan JW VW (Mr D C & Mrs G M Simons)

8.5-year-old bitch with a typical head, pleasing eye colour although they were a little round in shape. Slightly heavy ears, neck has good length, would prefer shoulders a little better laid back. Enough bone and ok feet, quite heavy at present and this showed on the move. Excellent muscletone.

Minor Puppy Bitch (4, 0abs)

1ST 1862 - Feldkirk Roulette at Kazval TAF (K Anderson)

Just 6 months, ultra compact and all of a piece but a real baby as she should be, appealing head and eye and a lovely expression. So sound on the move out and back and covers the ground easily in profile with a long stride. Holds an excellent outline standing and moving, the best in this class for front and movement.

2ND 1925 - Lizzlog Hanky Panky (Miss H S Walker)

Rangier than 1 but with lots to like, still needing time for head to break but it has good length and pleasing eye colour. Body is well developed, and she has good depth of chest. Slightly longer in body but well angulated and moving on a long stride. As were all from this kennel, beautifully presented in A1 condition.

RCC & BP, pleased to see her go PG3 later in the day.

2ND 1932 - Seaheart Frida at Gloi (Ms E J & Dr L Walker & Roberts)

More moderate than 1 and slightly longer cast through the body, feminine head and expression and appealing dark eyes. Still needing time to develop all through, firm topline, good bone and feet and moving with a sound action. Tail set ok.

3RD 1871 - Clandrift Funky Angel (Mrs V Bowen)

Junior Bitch (7, 0abs)

1ST 1887 - Badcall Midwinter Dream at Inchstellie (Mrs F Mackessack-Leitch)

I see now this bitch is sired by the DCC winner and she has inherited his really positive movement in all directions. Straight and true fore and aft and covering the ground with a reachy stride in profile. Appealing head and eye shape, eyes of good colour. Clean through the neck and shoulders and her body is developing well. Presented in very good coat and condition.

2ND 1897 - Lamesbella Edna (Mrs D & Mr A Pawelski)

More upstanding and slightly more compact than 1 but not the freedom of movement of 1. Liked her head and appealing expression from dark eyes. Firm in body condition, compact loin. Tail well set and carried. Moved positively but not with the freedom of 1.

A positive moving bitch who covers the ground with a good length of stride. A little bold in eye shape. Neat feet and enough bone for her size. Medium sized and with a good outline and ribbing longer in loin. Firmin topline, and I felt she needed a little more body here. Moderate rear angulation. In excellent condition and shown to advantage.

3RD 1920 - Thurwhitt Lyra Belacque (Mrs S J Thurgood)

Post Graduate Bitch (7, 1abs)

1ST 1930 - Gloi Dubh Lady Muck JW (Ms E J & Dr L Walker & Roberts)

One of the few I have judged before, holds a good outline, clean through the neck and shoulders but I would prefer better angulation in front and this shows a little in her front movement coming on. Stands on well boned legs and good feet, excellent topline and tailset. Uses her well angulated quarters to advantage on the move. Shown in optimum muscletone.

2ND 1904 - Blacktoft Avelino at Finnashember (Mrs A & Dr I Prior)

Pleasing head, eye could be a shade darker, good forehand, legs and feet, has a tendency to lose her topline. Tail well set and carried and moved on a good stride. Shown in A1 condition.

3RD 1928 - Lizzlog Nanny Mcphee (Mrs L Walker)

Limit Bitch (9, 3abs)

1ST 1922 - Finhamspride Clio (Mrs Sara & Ms Emc Thurgood & Holmes)

Shapely bitch who has a beautiful head with dark eyes and an intelligent expression. Clean through the neck and front, has plenty of bone for her size and excellent feet. Firm topline and tail well set, muscular quarters which she used to advantage on the move. She covered the ground easily in profile.

2ND 1927 - Lizzlog Mary Poppins (Mrs L Walker)

Rangier bitch who has a very good forehand, clean in outline. I liked her well moulded head although eye colour could perhaps be darker. Well-conditioned body with excellent ribbing, firm level topline, slightly longer cast all through. Has a very good profile movement, could be firmer in rear movement.

3RD 1885 - Kulawand Cartier (Mr & Mrs R S & Mrs P Lane & Lane-Ridyard)

Open Bitch (6, 1abs)

1ST 1863 - Sh Ch Kazval Angel in Your Sky over Feldkirk (K Anderson)

Quality bitch with an appealing outline that she maintains at all times standing and moving. Stands over her well angulated front and with good bone and feet, firm level topline, tail well set and carried. Firm, well-conditioned body, excellent ribbing, compact loin. Shown in exemplary condition, had the edge in movement out and back and covers the ground easily in profile. CC & BOB and pleased to see her go G3.

2ND 1865 - Sh Ch Moontorn Better Half of Me JW ShCEx OSW (Miss A Bellamy)

Standing on well boned legs and beautiful feet, clean through the neck with an excellent forehand, topline and tailset, ok carriage. Well positioned front, firm in body and loin, carrying just the right amount of body condition. Moved with a long stride aided by a skilled handler.

3RD 1907 - Sh Ch Hopevalley Morning Wicked (Mrs M E Romeo-Dieste)

Good Citizen Dog Scheme Bitch(5, 2abs)

1ST 1887 - Badcall Midwinter Dream at Inchstellie (Mrs F Mackessack-Leitch)

2ND 1939 - Gemswin Just Like Heaven at Larksburn (Mrs S L Young)

One of the younger ones in this class but with much to like, an appealing head and expression, pleasing front, excellent bone and feet. Held her topline standing and moving, could have a little more rear angulation. Well-conditioned all through, just not in her best jacket here.

3RD 1878 - Pajanbeck Hold My Halo (Mr P & Mrs J & Miss S & Mrs V Egginton & Egginton & Egginton & Davis)
