Breed: Large Munsterlander

I always look forward to judging this breed, they are overall of good temperament and a good ringside audience appreciative of the results. The breed standard states dogs to be of good movement and drive which today I felt was missing in some exhibits.

1st: POWELL, Ms Jan & MURRELL, Mr Anthony Sh Ch Crumpsbrook Woodrush - this 8 year old dog stood alone but a quality boy. he has a lovely head and expression good neck into clean shoulders, good depth of rib. Held his topline well on the move. Moved well.

1st: LOGIE, Miss Erin & BRAIDWOOD, Mrs Fiona Sh Ch Graf Iii Vom Busshof At Albadhu (Imp) Deu - A quality dog with no exaggerations, best of heads, good expression,, lovely depth of rib, good size. Good angulation and he moves with freedom and drive. Delighted that he was shortlisted in a strong Gundog Group. Well done CC and BOB.

2nd: HUGGINS-DAVIS, Ms A Tralale Chunky Monkey - Mature dog, good breed type. Good masculine head, clean front and depth, excellent muscle and moved well for his handler. RCC

2nd: WARD, Mrs Heather Joyce Sh Ch Braccpoint Song Of The Wind For Gemlorien - 8 year old girl, preferred the front assembly of my winner, lovely head and expression. Good angulation and moves well.

1st: 3836 EVANS, Mrs H J Tarkanya Ritas Raspberry - Smart young girl with the best of fronts, clean lines and lovely angulation throughout. Good head with lovely dark eye and moves freely with power and drive. Shall watch her future in the show ring with interest.

1st: BUTLER, Mrs Barbara & BUTLER, Mr David Almonrigg Sweet Honey Baby At Jendella's - Smart youngster who is coming into her own, no exaggerations about her. Lovely angulation, handles so well with excellent muscle. Lovely feminine head, good eye colour. When she settled moves with such freedom and power. Delighted to award her CC, her first and I am sure the others will not be too far away.

2nd: 3840 GREGORY, Mr A J & GREGORY, Mrs C Cammuress Neon - A good sound moving girl, with good bone. Good angulation and is needing time to mature on.

1st: FOREMAN, Mr P & Miss H J Toberworry Little Lies - 4 year old girl who took my eye with her great movement, sound as a pound. Good bone, great depth and lovely angulation. Well muscled, smart girl. Good breed type.

2nd: DARBY, Mr G T & Mrs J Crumpsbrook Anneke To Incadar - A youngster who was unlucky to come up against my winner and I am sure places could change on another day. Another quality girl, good angulation and muscle, moves out soundly and the best of heads.

2nd: WILKINS, Miss Victoria Sh Ch Quilesta Simply Exquisite - Well handled smart girl, good head and depth. In hard fit condition and good muscle, preferred movement of my winner on the day.
