Scottish Dachshund Club
A huge thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge and exhibitors for accepting placings so gracefully. Many exhibits found the floor slippery and the ring was tight for space. Thank you to my stewards you kept the ring moving.
Size overall was good, I would say a few would benefit from additional weight and some a little less for overall shape and balance. Fronts (in particular upper arms) and rear angulation continues to be something which needs to be considered and improved. You cannot achieve good front extension and rear drive without this. Toplines on the whole were mixed. Lots of promising puppies which is great for the future and quality in the top classes.
I was extremely pleased with my main winners and found more worthy of green cards.
