City Of Birmingham Canine Association
I was honored to be invited to judge at the City of Birmingham Caine Association for my first UK judging assignment. Congratulations to the show management team on an incredibly successful and well run event. Thanks you to my incredible stewards who keep me on track with a smile and a chuckle. And most importantly my appreciation to the exhibitors for sharing their wonderful and much loved dogs with me.
Special Beginner D (3 competing)

2. Sterlingway Gone Viral With Cwmhaven owned by Miss L. Samons
The first dog has an attractive head and eye. He offers proper proportions and adequate bone and substance. He has lovely side gait although less clever in front. The second dog gave way in refinement of head details. He possesses good bone and substance in a proper frame.He does not have the balance and reach in motion of the first dog.

This senior gentlemen is handsome and upstanding with a proper proportions. He posseses a long clean detailed head and lovely underjaw. He has good bone and substance. His coat is of excellent texture. In motion, he is balanced and presents beautiful carriage.

This puppy is a very happy youngster with an attractive head and eye. He is lacking in substance and body weight but has proper proportions. He is a bit loose in motion.

A nicely proportioned puppy with good bone and nice feet. Coat texture is quite good. He is attractive in motion with a light springy gait.

The first dog has an attractive, long head. Proper proportions in outline. Nice bone and feet. Good coat texture. He has nice carriage in motion although slightly restricted in front reach. The second dog gave way in in finish and detailing of head and overall carriage and balance in motion.

The first dog is masculine with a handsome head. He has good bone and substance and his frame is of proper proportions. He is good on his legs in motion. The second dog is also of proper proportions and offers good bone and substance. He gave way in strength of head and underjaw and he does not have the reach and drive of the first dog.

The first dog is an elegant and squarely built dog. He has a lovely detailed head with good underjaw. Great feet and great coat texture. He has lovely carriage, maintaining his frame in motion. The second dog is a nice dog of similar style with a pretty head and eye. Good bone and feet . Good coat texture. Gave way in carriage in motion. It was a pleasure to award them each the Dog CC and RCC respectively.

Masculine with good bone and substance. Good coat texture. Unsure of himself today but efficient in motion .

The first bitch has proper proportions and offers a pretty head and eye. She has presence and carriage. The second bitch has a proper outline. She gave way to the first bitch in head and eye and balance in motion.

A feminine, well made, older lady. Her head offers pretty finish and details. Lovely outline which she maintains in motion.

2. Sarnia Takin It Eze owned by Mr. B. Irving & Ms. K.Foster
First place puppy was second in Special Beginner. The second puppy in this class has proper proportions and outline but gave way to the winner in shape of eye and reach and carriage in motion.

2. Janavons Midnight Melody owned by Mrs. E. Geeson & Miss M. Nugent
First is an upstanding bitch of proper proportions. Exquisite head with all the details. Good bone and excellent feet. She is quite self possessed for her age. She was light and easy in motion once she decided it was to be so. She was eventually the recipient of the RCC. The second bitch has nice bone and substance but gave way in head , substance and overall balance.

2. Afterglow Luminary With Angelsam owned by Mrs. G. Coates & Mr. R. Coates
First is a feminine bitch with lovely head details . She is of proper proportions. She had nice carriage and keeps her outline in motion. The second bitch has good bone and substance and is also of proper proportions. She gave way in head and in reach and carriage.
Graduate B ( 6 competing)

2. Magaro Megan owned by Mr. D. Steinert & Mr. M. Steinert
First is an upstanding elegant bitch. Beautiful head details. Good coat texture . Lovely outline and carriage in motion. The second bitch gave way only slightly in outline and carriage.
Post Graduate B (2 competing)

2. Zantescwtch Nordic Flame owned by Mrs. K. McLoughlin
First is the winner from the previous class. The second bitch is substantial and gave way in refinement of head, outline proportions, and balance and carriage in motion.

The first bitch has a beautiful head and eyes. Good bone and substance and great feet. Lovely outline and carriage once she settles down. The second bitch is well made but gave way in head details.

2. Nova Fatal Attraction for Achara JW owned by Miss N. A. Dawson
First is a stunning, upstanding, elegant bitch. Beautiful refinement in head details. Perfection in proportion and outline. To the hand one is almost surprised by the bone and body substance beneath the elegance and glamour. Good coat texture. She possesses great character and projects an air of dignity while at the same time an electricity that is captivating. Her carriage in motion is wonderful, maintaining her frame while covering ground effortlessly. Impeccably and masterfully presented. She was the CC winner as well as Best of Variety and I was thrilled to see her go on to win the group later in the day. The second place bitch is an attractive bitch of proper proportions. She gave way in head details and overall carriage and outline. She was a bit over exhuberant, but once settled had a nice way of going.
