Thank you to the committee for the invitation to judge the Special Award Classes and to those exhibitors that supported me by entering. Not the best of rings with the floor being slippy which affected some dogs.

 

Special Junior D or B J 1 Richardson’s Hollinclose Love Machine, 10 months Black/Gold White female. Pleasing head, broad skull with good muzzle ratio. Her eyes are dark and round with an intelligent expression. Ears are set correctly and used to advantage. Good neck into well laid shoulders. Good length to body with level topline which she holds at all times. Deep chest with elbows tucked in. Small, round feet.  Good rear angulation. Correct tailset. Coat of excellent texture. Moved soundly. 

 

Special Limit D or B (3) 

1 Parrington’s Melcia Pandamonium, 21 months B/W male who certainly made his handler work hard today! Really well constructed, his head is well balanced with correct proportions  of muzzle to skull. round dark eyes and keen expression. Decent reach of neck into good shoulders and well sprung ribs. Good depth of chest. Level topline, with strong short loin. Tail is set correctly and carried over back on the move. Well muscled rear with good bend of stifle. When he got it together, he moved out with purpose and lovely carriage. Shown in good coat. 2 Marron’s Kerryken Ritzy  CS/W, smaller than 1, feminine head, dark eye, well set ears used to advantage. Decent neck, good shoulders, level topline and moderate rear angles. Not the carriage of 1. Moved OK, 3 Winter’s Prodigieux Amazing Amber

 

Special Open D or B. (3,1) 

1 Winter’s Prodigieux Darling Diamond, Parti male of a super shape, masculine head, dark round eye with intelligent expression. Medium neck. Chest of good depth with elbows tucked in. Small feet. Good spring of rib, Level topline with strong loin.  Tail set correct and carried over the back. Moved soundly. 2 Marron’s Charles Noblesa Aura (imp Cze). Black/Silver. Well up to size. Pleasing head with correct proprtions of muzzle to skull. Dark round eye with good expression. Well set ears, good neck and shoulders, level topline but a bit too long in loin for balance. Muscled rear angulation. Tailset correct and carried over the back. Not the movement of 1.
