Standard Poodles

Veteran Dog (3 -1ab) 1 Rodgers Montravia Day Dream Beliva a young and spritely veteran, shown in top condition. Pleasing refined head but with masculine outlook. Dark pigmentation beneath a sparkling white coat. Balanced with good outline and reach of neck. Good tail set and carriage. Well angulated rear which he uses to advantage moving.

A performance which gained the Res CC in strong competition.

2 Brekkerud Ch Kossab Santa Cruz 10year old black also in lovely condition, His head is masculine without coarseness, dark eyes and good chin. Black jacket has crisp texture of tight curls. Positive and steady on the move.

Puppy Dog (3) 1 O'Higgins Jasenak Secret is Safe at Sarnia (Imp Ser) Upstanding white in playful mood. Excellent shape with good reach of neck. Well placed dark eyes, good pigmentation. Correct tail set and carriage. Good sparkling white coat, well presented. When settled he moved with plenty of reach and drive, should have a promising future.

2 Mitchell Talibberty Mr Pink Panther next two were brothers who were both a handful for their respective handlers. Black boy with masculine head, thick jacket, difficult to assess movement today, needs more ring training.

3 Fozard Talibberty Hey There Mr Blue

Junior Dog (2-1ab)1 Irving & Foster Kamarri Smart Alec youngster of lovely make and shape, typical of this kennel, Pleasing in head, firm body, well placed shoulders and good tail set. Well knuckled feet. Shown in really firm muscular condition. Coat was well presented. Moved well keeping his outline.

Post Graduate Dog (2) 1 Colton Sachemic's You're A Wizard Upstanding black in lovely muscular condition. Straight in front and good rear angles. Refined head but for me would like more chin. Coat was nicely presented. Moved steadily.

2 Burton Highla Dream Machine Pleasing in head and eye, well made body in firm condition, difficult to assess movement on this performance. His qualities could be enhanced by improved presentation.

Limit Dog (2)1 Brook Sculbrook The Beat lives On Impressive brown boy in full lion trim which really suits him. Lovely to handle, good head masculine in outlook with well placed eyes and good chin, all framed by a wealth of furnishings expertly prepared. Beneath this thick crisp jacket was a firm muscular body, straight front and good rear which he uses to advantage on the move, sound both coming and going.

2 Downes Royaldeniz Superwolverine smaller type more refined in head. Good overall shape, with well balanced outline, good reach of neck and compact body. Excellent feet. White coat was well presented. Moved well in profile.

Open Dog (6) Strong class of quality exhibits headed by1 Kendall Clarkson Ch Magin The Great Escape What a lovely surprise to find this boy today. Really suiting his new trim, and to be shown in T clip means nothing can be hidden. Super head and eye, well defined chin with plenty of working in the foreface to give a refined yet masculine expression. Has good reach of neck, short compact body with good depth of chest. Angles front and rear correct. Jacket clearly short but of correct texture and trimmed to perfection. Never put a foot wrong as he flowed round the ring, accurate both fore and aft with plenty of reach and drive. Expertly handled to get the most from him seemed like he could go on all day. Could not be denied the CC in very good company. Just loved him.

2 Wilson & Spoors Ch Niaveera See What Lies Ahead JW Impressive taller boy, excels in outline with good reach of neck and compact body. Straight in front above good feet, well angulated rear which he uses well on the move. Pleasing refined head and lovely dark eyes, all enhanced with a wealth of coat expertly presented. Pressed hard in the challenge

3 Moores & Speakman Ataraksia Blue Lagoon for Sachemic JW

Puppy Bitch (3)1 Lynn Afterglow Kill For Candy promising young lady, has all the makings of a future stunner. Excels in head properties, with small dark eyes, well placed and full of mischief. Already signs of the moulding to come in the foreface, with good chin to complete the picture. Well conditioned firm body, short in back with good reach of neck to give profile I was looking for. Straight front above tightly knuckled feet and well angulated rear which she uses to advantage on the move. Thick black jacket expertly presented completed the picture. Precise and confident showmanship gained her BPIB

2 Dixon Rennkiss and Make Up another one with promise, pleasing outline when stacked with good reach of neck. Pretty head and expression. Nicely made compact body in good muscular condition. Moved steadily round the ring..

3 Irving & Foster Sarnia Takin it Eze

Junior Bitch (5)1 Patterson-Rogerson Kamarri Smarty Pants Commanded attention as soon as she entered the ring. Short, necky, with plenty of style. Pleasing head and eye giving feminine expression. Good firm body condition enhanced by quality coat expertly presented. Straight front and correct rear assembly which allowed her to move with plenty of reach and drive, covering the ground well, to give her the edge to win this class.

2 Geeson & Nugent Janavons Midnight Melody rangier type, not long out of puppy so giving way in maturity to the winner. Refined head with feminine expression. Pleasing outline stacked with straight front had good rear angulation. Moved well. Plenty of coat was nicely presented.

3 Coates Afterglow Luminary with Angelsam

Post Graduate Bitch (5)1 Geeson & Nugent Janavons Star of the Sea very stylish black, excelling in head properties, completely feminine expression. Good reach of neck into well laid shoulders, straight front and well angulated rear. Neat feet. Compact well developed body producing super outline stacked. Looked good moving in profile and was sound in both directions. Quality coat well presented completed the picture. Preferred the overall balance to her sister but can see why they have changed places at times. Seriously considered for higher award. Should have a bright future.

2 Coates Afterglow Luminary with Angelsam lovely white girl for make and shape. Very pretty head properties with dark pigment. Nicely made compact body in good muscular condition. Good tail set. Wealth of good textured coat, well presented. Moved steadily

3 McLoughlin Zantescwtch Nordic Flame

Limit Bitch (6-1 ab)1 Freeman & Jackson Volgarus Demanding Diva pleasing white girl with very pretty head properties and dark pigment, producing feminine expression Excellent coat was well prepared and covered a well proportioned and sturdy body, good feet and excellent tailset. Presented lovely picture stacked and was able to retain this profile on the move. Showed well with plenty of enthusiasm.

2 Fozard & Nicholls Sympika Heatwave pleasing exhibit with no exaggeration. Of good make and shape Well made body was covered by good quality coat, nicely presented.

Pleasing head and expression. Not quite as settled moving as one today.

3 McLoughlin Zantescwtch Nordic Flame

Open Bitch (6-1ab)Three lovely girls, I could have signed the CC for any of them but today,1 Moores, Speakman & Lynn Ch Sachemic Mischief Managed with Afterglow JW first judged this girl as a puppy and thought she was delightful, how she has fulfilled that promise.. A stunning exhibit from any angle. Possesses a beautifully refined head with plenty of working to give a very feminine expression with just that twinkle of naughtiness. Lovely to handle with good lay back shoulder, straight front and well angulated rear. Movement in profile was excellent with plenty of reach and rear drive giving a powerful display in unison with her handler. Her long reach of neck compact body gave her a fabulous shape when stacked. Expert tailoring of her thick crisp jacket completed the picture. For me “Poetry in Motion” was enough for her to claim another CC for her collection and then BOB over the very special male. Shortlisted in the group.
