To have been given the opportunity to judge the dogs presented under me was an incredible honour, there were no insufficient characters and it was very pleasing to see that breeders have worked very hard to improve the soundness of the animals presented.

Thank you to the handlers who did a really great job, no rushing around, showing their animals superbly and being totally respectful to the environment they were in, no one can have any issue with your collective performance, very well done to you all.

The final line up in each sex for me was stunning, my BOB winner Evawell Ellisa is a benchmark female for us all, beauty, power and strength, owning the ring in every phase, with a super handler for this high pressure environment, for the breeder and handler an incredible moment, but for us the opportunity to see a German Shepherd Dog in the breed ring and then in the big ring at Crufts at the absolute top of its game.

I am totally confident that several of the animals presented under me will make their titles,

It is a fantastic achievement for breeders, exhibitors and enthusiasts to have made the huge move forward to reposition the German Shepherd Dog within the world of dogs.
