I would like to thank the society for inviting me to judge at the 2025 Championship Dog Show. I would also like to thank all the exhibitors for their entries.

Class 2629 SBD/B (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st:– 6464 MULLINGER, Mrs Alisha Emma, - Nefolion Tekapo Temptress - Medium sized bitch, with strong topline, good feet, clean through neck and shoulders, straight front. Moved soundly.

Class 2630 MPD (1 ENTRIES) Abs : 0

1st: 6459 LONGBOTTOM, Miss C R & Mrs A & MILBY, Mr P - Gunalt Wingman – 8 month old and a very promising young dog, appealed in head, clean through the neck and shoulders, strong body and well angulated rear quarters. Well muscled and this showed when he moved. He just needs to be braver but I am sure this will come. BPD

Class 2631 PD (3 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: 6433 CAIN, Mrs S J & CAIN Mr S A - Lustamusk Star Ship Trooper – Slighter built boy, clean neck and shoulders, straight front. Good topline and well muscled and angulated rear. Moved steadily

2nd: 6450 HAWKINS Mrs Tina & HAWKINS Mr Alan, - Schonhund Show At The Oscars – Darker in coat than the winner and a little longer in body. Deep chest, good muscle and moved steady.

Class 2632 JD (4 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: 6483 WHITEHEAD, Mrs Karen – Gunalt Back Chat From Stridview - What a promising young dog. Straight Front, Clean neck into good shoulders, Strong topline with well muscled quarters. Once settled he moved on a good stride covering the ground with ease. Considered for top honours

2nd: 6488 GATT, Ms Maria - Sireva Maestro – Balanced head, clean neck and shoulders, Straight front. Good topline and strong loin, well angulated and muscled rear.

3rd: 6465 GUTHRIE, Mr & Mrs Steve and Gil - Sireva Mayhem

Class 3263 PGD (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 6428 BUCKLEY, Mrs Jayne – Brownbank Juniper JW – well made dog, good muscle tone all through, strong topline, straight front and standing on good feet, well angulated strong quarters. Moved well and powered around the ring.

Class 2634 LD (3 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 6436 CAIRNS, Miss Lorraine P – Lamarg Silver Huntsman – strong topline, enough depth, strong quarters, once settled moved well

2nd : 6478 SPAVINS, Mr Paul , - Ashtern Delphinius – Not in his best coat today, muscular neck into well angulated shoulders, good depth, straight front, strong rear, moved steadily.

3rd: 6427 BROWN, Mr Gareth & Davies, Ms Mandy - Gunalt Polished At Wystry

Class 2635 OD (8 Entries) Abs: 0

What a fantastic class, unfortunately I didn’t have enough cards to go round.

1st : 6475 - SIMPSON, Mrs G - Ch Sireva Emeyefive JW – CC – This boy has an excellent head and expression. Well muscled neck into good shoulders, straight front, good feet, strong topline which he held on the move, good depth, well angulated and muscled rear which he used to his advantage when powering around the ring. Delighted to see him win the Gundog Group.

2nd : 6467 - PHILLIPS, Mr L, - Sh Ch Rivertone Retrograde – RCC – Different type to the winner but a very worthy Sh Ch. Lovely head and expression, clean neck into good shoulders, good depth to chest and well ribbed back, well angulated and muscled rear quarters, good legs and feet in super hard condition. He was not as positive on the move in the class but got it together when called back in for the RCC.

3rd: 6437 - CHARLISH, Miss Ellen – Sh Ch Gunalt The Hangover JW – A worthy champion, so felt he needed to be mentioned. A credit to his handler. Im sure these 3 dogs will change places on many occasions.

Class 2636 VD (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 6440 - CROWTHER, Mr D J - Sh Ch Hundwith Mclaren – BV - 9 ½ year old dog of medium size, good straight legs on neat feet, balanced head with pleasing expression , well muscled quarters with moderate angulation, good topline, moved with reach and drive. Pleased to award him Best Veteran and later see him go Veteran Group 2.

2nd: 6461- MCMAHON, Mrs Patricia & MCMAHON, Mr Anthony - Ir Sh Ch Silverkelvin Jupiter Over Magdala VW CW22 – good head and eye, good muscle tone, for me he was a touch wide in front, and moved a little wide going away.

Class 2637 MPB (2 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: 6468 – PHILLIPS, Mr L Rivertone Defying Gravity – Good length to head, arched neck into well angulated shoulders, plenty of depth to ribs, well muscled and angulated rear. She is very promising prospect and had to give way to the PB today on maturity and movement.

Class 2638 PB (3 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 6472 - RAYNER, Mrs Christine & MASKELL, Mrs S Enjager Elegance For Brownbank JW – My notes say what a cracking puppy, and she really is. Correct head, well muscled neck in to well angulated shoulders straight front legs standing on well padded feet. Good depth to rib cage and strong loin. She used her well muscled quarters to move around the ring. Best Puppy

2nd: 6434 - CAIN, Mrs S J & Cain, Mr S A – Lustamusk Star Mississippi - Darker in coat than the winner, Good straight front, clean neck and well muscled all through. Moved steadily.

3rd: 6480 – TIERNEY, Ms G – Gunalt Madeira At Greyfurs

Class 2639 JB (6 Entries) Abs: 3

1st: 6477 – SIMPSON, Mrs G – Sireva Maze - Correct head, well muscled neck, straight front, good length, good depth, well angulated and muscled quarters moved soundly.

2nd : 6479 - SPAVINS, Mr Paul - Weipowa Wild Flush For Ashtern – Well balanced, clean neck, straight front and good muscle tone all through, just slightly shorter than the winner. Moved steadily.

3rd : 6441 – CROWTHER, Mr D J – Hundwith Selfie

Class 2640 PGB (3 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: 6462 - MULLINGER, Mrs Alisha Emma Sunshine Of Your Love JW – Lovely in size and well balanced, Good front, clean neck and well muscled. Good width to 2nd thigh and this showed with her steady movement.

2nd : 6455 - HOSTLER, Mrs T - Theondale Margot JW – Lighter in colour to no 1. Good bone, straight front and shown in well muscled condition. Just not as settled on the move today.

Class 2641 LB (11 Entries) Abs: 0

This was a fantastic class of bitches to have the pleasure of judging

1st: 6466 – PAVEY, Mr J Evans & Mr P – Rivertone Inevitable At Joneva – CC - Only 2 years old and still has a way to go but what a promising bitch. She was in excellent condition from the tip of her nose to the tip of her tail. She is so feminine in head and body but so well muscled and this showed on her effortless movement around the ring. I had no hesitation in awarding her the CC and was then informed that this was her crown. I’m sure there are more to come. Thank you for bringing her.

2nd: 6473 – ROWBURY, Ms Sandra & TRANQUADA, Ms Daniela – Rivertone Confetti over Stormdancer – RCC litter sister to No 1. Just slightly longer cast than her sister but the same remarks apply. I am sure that these 2 will change places on numerous occasions and I am sure that her title is just around the corner.

3rd: 6439 – CROWTHER, Mr D J – Hundwith Step In Thyme

Class 2642 OB (4 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 6481- WEST, Mrs Joanne & WEST, Mr Campbell - Sh Ch Gunalt Wavelength JW ShCEx OSW – A worthy champion who was unlucky to come up against the limit bitches today. Lovely head and expression, well muscled neck into clean shoulders, topline and hindquarters were strong, good depth of rib, well off for bone without losing her femininity.

2nd: 6474 - SAYER & WALLWORK, Mr & Miss M A & D L - Braefell Bumblebee – Well made bitch with clean neck, good shoulders. Good spring of rib and well muscled loin and quarters which showed in her movement.

3rd : - 6453 – HOSTLER, Mrs T – Sh Ch Kalimor Daisy J.W

Class VB (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st : 6431 - CAIN, Mrs S J & CAIN, Mr S A Schonhund Show Tallulah At Lustamusk – good body proportions, straight front, good muscle tone, moved easily around the ring.

2nd : 6445 - DUNCAN, Mrs L A Dunherl’s Loch Coruisk – Straight front, good body proportions, well muscled, moved steadily
