Norwegian Buhund Club of the UK

Breed: Norwegian Buhund

Norwegian Buhund Championship Show 2025

My thanks for to the committee for this invitation to judge the club show which is a great honor. I first met Buhunds in 1986 when I was camped at a champ show adjacent to Elizabeth Coleopy. My husband admired the breed and our first Fullani bitch arrived in 2001. The breed has not changed much and is still a unspoilt spitz breed, handling and presentation has greatly improved, however there is a big variation in size and this needs to be watched.
