26th – 29th June 2025
BVIS – Many thanks to the Officers and Committee of the Windsor Championship Dog Show for this prestigious invitation to judge all Veteran Groups and BVIS.
The 7 Group winners gave a great account of themselves in the final, despite being one of the hottest days of the year so far!
Ultimately, I awarded BVIS to the Cocker Spaniel and Reserve Best Veteran In Show to the BSD (Terv.) Both absolutely stunning show dogs, belying their Veteran status.
Gundog Veteran Group
VG1 – Sh Ch Coedcernyw Calendar Girl. Cocker Spaniel. A breed that’s close to my heart having owned and bred a couple of litters back in the day, although never quite good enough to show! This gorgeous female appeals greatly for her ‘Cockery’ breed type, encompassing her lovely size, compact shape, excellent conformation and true movement. Presented in fabulous form. I was captivated by her charms and was a worthy winner of this Group. She finished topping the lot as my BVIS…congratulations!
