My thanks to the LKA Committee for inviting me to Judge OES at their 2025 Championship Show. My stewards Chris and Lynda where wonderful, their great organizational skills helped me throughout. Being fourth in the ring it was a very long day for the dogs and exhibiters, despite this everyone performed brilliantly.

PD (1 1)

JD (1 0) 1 Grundy’s Amalong Oak 15 months well grown youngster. All round soundness and balance. Strong square skull and muzzle. Correct scissor bite. Wall eye. Good reach of neck and correct front assembly. Well-developed brisket. Good turn of stifle. Coat changing well. A little unsettled on the move so didn’t show to his full potential.

PGD (4 0) 1 Winson’s Meison Roly Poly Angelo JW 19 months. Smaller type. Stands square and compact and has good overall body shape with plenty of bone and substance. Good strong head and muzzle with correct scissor bite. Dark eyes with pigment. Good reach of neck and shoulder angles. Well sprung rib with deep brisket. Rising topline. Broad rear with good angles and strong low set hocks. Lovely harsh textured yearling coat. Moved with ease and strong driving movement at the rear. Should do well. 2 Deakin’s Amblehart Mr. Banks at Darwillow 18 months. Impressive Male. Good overall shape. Super masculine head and strong square muzzle. Correct scissor bite. Lovely dark eyes with pigmentation. Excellent reach of neck and layback of shoulder Rising topline. Correct rear angles. Plenty of coat still yet to clear. Moved well but not quite the drive of 1. I will be interested to see how this young male matures; he has excellent qualities and ring presence. Should also have a bright future.3 Ferguson’s Mellowdee Soul Man with Lexalby JW

LD (6 2) 1 Naismith’s Shaggybo Mineral Mist JW Sound, balanced and well-constructed male. He has depth of quality. Strong square head and muzzle. Correct scissor bite. Brown eyes with pigment. Good length of neck and correct shoulder assembly. Deep brisket. Strong rear with good angulation. Maturing coat. Very well presented and handled. Moved well. I considered this young male for the RCC, but he did not quite have the overall maturity at this stage. 2 Fawcett’s Starjanda Mr Bright Sky Handsome Male. Good overall shape. Masculine head with lovely dark eyes and pigment. Not quite the neck and shoulder of 1. Well-developed brisket. Rising topline. Broad rear with good turn of stifle. Quality harsh coat. Moved with drive and width at the rear but was less settled when moving towards me. 3 Cartwright’s Mellowdee Pumpkin Patch at Applejem

OD (5 0) 1 Mills’ CH Kerjalee Evan Sent To coin the phrase if a dog moves well, he is made well, is a good description of this quality male. He excels in confirmation and breed type and this shows in his excellent free flowing movement. A1 presentation and handling added to his overall ring presence. DCC BOB. Delighted to see he was awarded Pastoral Group 1. 2 Millward’s CH Beauvallon Jack Frost at Wilbamil I awarded this boy Best Puppy in Breed when I last judged and he has now developed into a top-class mature male. Sound, strong and compact. Excellent head properties with lovely dark eyes. Capacious skull, strong square muzzle, correct scissor bite. Good front assembly. Excellent bone. Very deep brisket and good spring of rib. Rising topline. Well-muscled broad rear, good angulation and strong hocks. Beautifully presented quality dense coat. Not quite the movement of 1 today. Loved his masculinity and strength. RDCC. 3 Price’s CH Blue Panda Lorien Swanky Yankee at Cooljays (Imp USA)

GCD (1 0) Mellowdee Soul Man with Lexaiby JW. (Ferguson). 3rd in a quality Post Grade Class. Smaller type male. Sound and balanced with good front assembly. Harsh coat. Excellent temperament. Despite a loud disturbance outside of the ring when being shown he kept his composure and stood with confidence. No signs of nervousness. Good steady movement. A great ambassador of the Good Citizen Award.

PB (3 0) 1 Wilkinson’s Kalaju Dream a little Dream 8 months. Lovely quality feminine puppy. Balanced outline with attractive markings. Strong head and muzzle. Very good mouth with large teeth and scissor bite. Beautiful feminine expression, dark eyes with pigment developing. Lovely to go over as she is well-constructed with balanced angles and good bone. Well-developed brisket for her age. Rising Topline. Wide rear with good angulation. Good turn of stifle and low set hocks. Coat starting to change. Excellent movement with drive and extension. Should have a bright future. BPB and BPIB

JB (3 1) 1 Hartley’s Allhart Pampered Princess. (Hartley) 14 months. Good head properties with correct scissor bite. 2 blue eyes with pigment. Good reach of neck and shoulder angles. Well off for bone. Deep brisket, rising topline. plenty of substance for her age. Correct rear angels with low set strong hocks. Coat changing well. Moved well when settled. 2 Mills’ Kerjalee Dressed to Impress at Mopill 18 months. Very feminine bitch with correct square outline. Balanced head and muzzle. Dark brown eyes. Lovely arched neck into good shoulder placement. Good depth of brisket. Correct rear angles with small low set hocks. Coat changing well. Steady movement. Close decision. Preferred the overall substance of 1 at this stage.

PGB) (3 0) 1 Sweet’s Makaylen Cu Caol lia JW Feminine bitch with good head properties, 2 dark brown eyes. Good reach of neck into well laid-back shoulders. Nicely developed brisket, gentle rising topline. Good turn off stifle and strong low set hocks. Quality light grey coat. Moved with good extension and drive. Beautifully presented showgirl. Well-handled to show off her qualities.2 Mills’ Kerjalee All About Me Another quality bitch of good breed type. Lovely balanced head properties, brown eyes with pigment and feminine expression. Good reach of neck and correct shoulder angles. She is well boned and has good overall body shape. Well-developed brisket. Broad rear with correct angles. Quality coat. Moved well but just preferred the overall confidence of 1 today. 3 Dowson’s Lyla Johnson of Thiegennal

LB (6 2) 1 Rutland & Porter’s Mellowdee Diamond Lil JW Loved this eye-catching feminine bitch. She has excellent head properties, a correct scissor bite, dark brown eyes with pigmentation. Good reach of neck with correct front angles, very well off for bone. Deep brisket with good spring of rib. Rising topline, strong broad hindquarters with plenty of substance. Very good angulation with strong low set hocks, quality dense harsh coat, moved well. Beautifully presented and handled BCC. 2 Castle’s Molyneux Just You Wait Quality sound and well-constructed bitch with attractive markings. Good head and mouth with a correct scissor bite, 2 dark brown eyes with full pigmentation. Good reach of neck and correct front assembly. Strong bone and good length of leg. Deep brisket with spring of rib. Rising topline, well-muscled hindquarters with correct angulation, low set strong hocks. Quality coat. Moved well. I really liked this bitch, she pushed RBCC close. 3 Wheeler’s Makaylen Savanna Pearl

OB (5 2) 1 Wileman’s Ch. Lindisfarm Hope Redeemed Shcex Very sound bitch with square outline. Really appreciated her true qualities on going over her. She is in top condition. Good head with a beautiful feminine expression, correct scissor bite, Wall eye with pigment. Enough reach of neck and lay back of shoulder. Well boned, deep brisket and good rib. Rising topline, plenty of substance at rear. very good rear angulation with strong low set hocks. I was very impressed by her very well-muscled condition. Mature coat. Moved well. RBCC. 2 Storey’s Twojos Little Miss Diva A lovely mature bitch, sound and well-constructed. She has a feminine expression, 2 brown eyes with full pigmentation, good mouth with correct scissor bite. Gently arched neck with good reach, correct front assembly, plenty of bone and good length of leg, good depth to brisket. Rising Topline, strong back end, but not quite the width of 1. Balanced angulation and strong low set hocks. Mature coat with good texture. Moved out well. 3 Adam’s Makaylen Majestic Lady

SBB (1 0) 1 Sweet’s Makaylen Cu Caol lia JW Placed 1st in PGB. I was impressed with her confident performance. The large carpeted ring enabled her to show off her eye-catching movement. Delighted to see she was awarded SBB Pastoral Group 4
