1st McFarlane’s Kerryken Keir Rob ShCEx - 8 year old in lovely condition. Balanced outline and of good size and substance. Handsome head with pleasing expression. Broad skull, muzzle strong and of good length with nice width to underjaw. Dark eyes of good size, shape and set, pendant ears with good fringing. Nice reach of neck fitting into well laid shoulders, forelegs straight with correct bone for his size. Chest of good depth and width. Compact body, well sprung ribs carried well back, level topline and short, muscular loin. Hindquarters well muscled, parallel and with angulation matching that of his fore angles. High set tail carried well over back. Silky, single coat of good texture. Moved well. Best Veteran.

1st McFarlane’s Glendyke Oops Halo Slipped - 12 month old young dog who certainly ticks the “lively” part of the breed standard! Decent for size, would like him just a little shorter in loin to balance him out. Broad skull, flat between ears, some stop, his muzzle is longer than my ideal. Well pigmented nose and eyerims. Eyes are dark and well set although could be a little rounder. Enough neck into a moderate lay of shoulder, chest developing well for age. Forelegs well boned and small, round feet. Ribs well sprung, some tuck up and a level topline that he kept at all times. Moderate bend to stifles with low set parallel hocks. High set tail, well plumed and carried well. White, silky coat of correct texture presented well. Moved ok after he’d stopped giving his handler a hard time!

1st Parrington’s Melcia Pandamonium - 18 month old parti with a very appealing head and expression. A little finer throughout. Broad skull, well defined stop, muzzle strong and of good length, nice width to underjaw. Large, expressive dark round eyes well set in his handsome face. Pendant ears of correct set with plenty of fringing. Nice amount of neck into well laid shoulders, straight forelegs. Nice depth to chest. Well sprung ribs, level topline kept at all times, a little longer than ideal in loin but with moderate tuck up. Well rounded rear with good turn of stifle. High set tail topped with handsome plume. Silky textured single coat presented very well. Neat small, round feet. Moved well in a co-ordinated manor.

1st Richardson’s Hollinsclose As It Was - Handsome exhibit of almost 2 years old. Scores highly for outline, shape and balance. Well sized with good substance. Proportionate head, skull broad and slightly flat between his well set ears, good stop, muzzle of correct length, nice width to underjaw. Eye could be ever so slightly larger, but this does not detract from his overall, pleasing expression. Neck of good length carrying his head proudly and flowing into a sound front assembly. Enough forechest, forelegs straight and of quality bone, small, round little feet. Compact, square body, well sprung ribs carried well back, short, muscular loin. Muscular hindquarters with good angulation propelling him well on the move. Coat of correct texture presented beautifully. High set tail, just a little tight in carriage. Moved well from all angles. 1st Graham’s Ch Jameneli Back To Black - Handsome, mature 2 year old male who is of good size and is well muscled throughout. Ever the showman and eager to please his handler. Masculine head with good breadth, defined stop, good length and depth to muzzle with strong underjaw. Would just like a slightly softer expression. Dark, round eyes well set. Pendant ears with plenty of feathering. Arched neck of good length which carries his head proudly. Sound front assembly with well laid shoulders, straight forelegs of strong bone, neat round feet. Good depth of chest, ribs well sprung, topline level, muscular, firm loin with moderate tuck up. If being picky, would just like him a fraction shorter in loin. Strong, well made hindquarters, well developed thighs with excellent muscletone, well bent stifles and low set parallel hocks. Tail of correct set and carriage. Silky, single coat well presented. Comes to life on the move demonstrating tidy reach and drive combined with style and animation. Couldn’t be denied BD & BOB in today’s competition.

Minor Puppy Bitch (2) 2 very nice babies of just 8 months old who will no doubt change places in their future careers.

1st Richardson’s Hollinsclose Love Machine - The more mature of the sisters today and who just had the edge on maturity of body. Broad skull, developing well, muzzle of good length with strong underjaw. Eyes dark, round and well set giving a really pretty expression. Good neck into well laid shoulders, forelegs straight with neat, round feet. Compact body of good shape, well ribbed back with short loin, level topline kept at all times. Chest developing well for age. Hindquarters sound with well bent stifles and low set parallel hocks. Coat of good texture, presented very well. High set tail of correct carriage. Exuberant puppy, really enjoying herself in the ring and with that typical lowchen naughtiness who showed sound movement from all angles once she got her head in the game! BPIB

2nd Patterson’s Hollinsclose The Promise for Bratilda - Finer than 1st but like her sister is of good size and shape. Feminine head and expression, broad skull, flattish between ears, definite stop, muzzle of good length would just like slightly broader underjaw. Good bite. Eyes expressive, dark and round well set in her pretty face. Pendant ears with feathering coming in well. Neck well arched and of good length fitting into a sound front assembly. Chest developing well. Ribs well sprung and carried well back, strong, short loin. Hindquarters well angulated and matching that of her fore angles. Well presented coat of good texture. High set tail, well carried over her back. Moved with coordination, just slightly closer behind today.

Junior Bitch (1)

1st McFarlane’s Glendyke Dancing On Ice - 12 month old particolour. Good for size, compact body with a squareish outline. Her skull is broad, slightly flat between ears, stop defined, muzzle longer than my ideal. Correct dentition. Dark pigment. Eyes are dark and well set although could be slightly larger. Pendant ears with good fringing. Enough reach of neck to carry her head proudly, well made front with good shoulder placement, forelegs straight and of good bone for her size. Well sprung ribs carried well back, short loin with slight tuck up. Well muscled hindquarters with correct bend to stifles and low set parallel hocks. High set tail with good plume carried well over her level back. Moved well.

Post Graduate Bitch (1)

1st McFarlane’s Quintrix Theme Of A Dream - 19 month old who unfortunately left her best clothes at home today. Feminine, of good size and presenting a square outline. Really pretty head and expression with broad skull, some stop, muzzle of good length with enough underjaw. Eyes are dark and round, well sized and well placed in her pretty face. Pendant ears with just enough fringing today. Shoulders just a little steep, forelegs straight and of nice bone. Well sprung ribs carried well back, level topline, strong loin with moderate tuck up. Stifles a little straight but balanced with her fore angles. High set tail well curved over her back. Coat is single and silky, although not a lot of it at the moment. Moved in a coordinated manner.

1st Richardson’s Ch Kristarz Can’t Be Tamed - Quality Particolour bitch who ticks the boxes for size, shape and substance. Balanced, square outline. Feminine expression with that glint of lowchen mischief in her eye. Broad skull, defined stop, muzzle of good length, strong and with good width to underjaw. Expressive, large, dark round eyes well placed in her pretty face. Ears are pendant with good fringing. Arched neck of good length carrying her head proudly and flowing into a sound front assembly. Well laid shoulders, forelegs straight with correct round bone, good depth of chest and neat, small round feet. Square in body with well sprung ribs, short, muscular loin, good width to body throughout and not too fine. Hindquarters well muscled with well bent stifles, hocks are parallel, giving good drive on the move. High set tail of correct carriage. Silky, single coat very well presented. Moved smartly with good reach and drive, tidy movement coming and going. Pleased to award her BB and BOS.

2nd Parrington’s Ch Melcia Iolanthe - 6 year old honest lowchen bitch. Body just slightly off-square but balanced nevertheless. Good for size and substance. Her skull is broad and slightly flat between ears, some stop, a strong muzzle of correct length and a good width to her underjaw. Correct bite. Eyes are large, dark and round giving a pleasing expression. Nice amount of neck into a sound front assembly. Well boned for size, neat round feet. Well muscled body, ribs well sprung and carried well back, just slightly long in loin. Muscular hindquarters, well angulated. High set tail. Silky, single coat presented well. Moved soundly from all angles.
