Many thanks to the committee for inviting me to judge at this welcoming and well run show. I had a very enjoyable day and your hospitality was excellent. Thank you to my stewards Linda Hall and Jennifer MacDonald for keeping everything in order.

Many thanks to all the exhibitors for presenting their dogs clean, well-groomed and in good condition.

1ST Nyllaup Oregon Sunstone (Mrs L A & Mr P Bradley), Lively young boy that was testing his handler, but making me laugh! Handsome balanced head and a cheeky look in his eye, strong in muzzle, and a big nose. He has good bone and super feet, balanced fore and aft and is in great muscle condition. Super, crisp, curled coat with plenty of depth to it. Moved true carrying his topline well. BP & RBD

1ST Bogbairns Down The Rabs (Mr F & Mrs J Mccallum), This boy exudes character, with the glint in his eye. Pleased for type and presented a good outline with correct length of neck. Well sprung barrel ribbing, strong loin and well set tail. Masculine head with correct skull shape and dark expressive eyes. Moved true holding his topline well and showing the ‘roll.’ BD

2ND Cairteila Roll Of The Dice (Mrs C Foody) Longer cast than 1st, very pleasing head with an alert expression from almond shaped eyes. In super coat with a crisp texture to the ringlets. Moved fluidly, covering the ground well

1ST Cairteila Look at Me Now (Mrs C Foody), Lively young lady and another that was testing her handler. Pretty head and a cheeky look in her eye, she has good bone and super feet, balanced fore and aft and is in good muscle condition. In excellent coat that was textured and dense. Moved true carrying her topline well, when she settled.

2ND Cuboglach Tufted Skipper (Miss J Hardy), Well balanced with a decent head. Presents a balanced outline. Level topline and well ribbed back. Well-made hindquarters. Well-muscled and covers the ground with purpose.

3RD Bogbairns Sweet Afton (Mr S & Mrs G Mcburnie)

1ST Sh Ch Stanegate Stage Debut (ai) ShCEx (Mrs L A & Mr P Bradley) This girl is at the top of her game. Beautiful head with the high domed skull, long strong muzzle and alert almond shaped eyes. Sloping shoulders, well sprung barrel shaped ribs, and powerful hindquarters. Low set tail. She is in amazing muscle condition that propels her effortlessly around the ring showing super balance atnd the ‘roll’. Her dense coat is full of crisp ringlets with the oiliness required. I just love her attitude and arrogance. BB & BOB. Thrilled to see her take Group 3.

2ND Sh Ch Stanegate Standing Ovation (Mrs J L Carruthers) out of a smaller mould than 1st. I liked her outline and general balance. Lovely head shape, she is well angled fore and aft and correctly ribbed in between. On the stand she presented a classic outline, and her coat was of excellent curl, dense and free from wooliness. On the move she has such an attitude, excellent precise footfall, with good reach and drive. RBB
